Jun Wu Yi and the three Dongfang brothers finally stood face-to-face after ten long years.
All the anger, resentment, and buried misunderstandings that had weighed on their hearts for a decade slowly faded away. There were no harsh words spoken, nor were any explanations needed.
A single look was enough, and the four men returned to what they once were.
They were like brothers who had shed blood together.
Soon after, the army continued its march.
Three days later, the long procession finally arrived at Southern Heaven City. By then, it had been thirty-three full days since they had departed from Tian Xiang City.
As the towering city walls came into view, many soldiers quietly let out sighs of relief. The cold air of the north rushed toward them, sharp and refreshing, as if washing away the fatigue clinging to their bodies.
The troops of Southern Heaven City showed no resentment toward the reinforcement army from Tian Xiang. Instead, several high-ranking officers personally came out to welcome Jun Wu Yi and his men with respectful expressions.
When Jun Mo Xie spotted Li Teng Yun among the crowd, his eyelids twitched.
He really wanted to avoid that man.
Not because he feared trouble, but because he feared losing control and killing the brat on the spot.
Unfortunately, avoiding him was impossible.
Jun Wu Yi was the supreme commander of the army, a man whose presence alone could stabilize a battlefield. How could he lower himself to argue with a junior over such trivial matters?
Naturally, this dirty work fell to the most suitable person.
The debauchee Young Master Jun stepped forward.
Light as a feather, relaxed as a stroll, Jun Mo Xie glanced at Li Teng Yun and spoke lazily, "This man seems to walk with his eyes on his head. His nose is practically pointing toward the sky. If I'm not mistaken, you must be the famous bully, Young Master Li of the Xue Hun Manor. Li Teng Yun, am I right?"
Li Teng Yun's eyes flashed coldly. He snorted with disdain. "You! Humph! Do I really need power to deal with someone like you?"
His lips curled maliciously as he continued, "Your Jun Family arrived so late in such a critical situation. And you're supposed to be the hosts! What mischief were you busy with? Aren't others even allowed to question this?"
Jun Mo Xie didn't get angry. Instead, he smiled faintly.
"We are well aware that the situation is urgent," He replied calmly. "But let me ask you something first. Why didn't you request help from our Emperor earlier? And secondly, why didn't your Xue Hun Manor send out the summons sooner if the danger was truly so serious? What exactly were you doing?"
His smile sharpened as he continued. "Oh, right. The reputation of the Xue Hun Manor is precious, isn't it? Would things have reached such a desperate point if not for your arrogance, blindness, and stubborn pride? You delayed until it became almost impossible to save the situation."
Jun Mo Xie snorted softly and continued, "You lack the strength to solve the problem yourselves, yet you're too ashamed to ask others for help. And now you have the nerve to blame everyone else? Others might be allowed to question us... but you, and your Xue Hun Manor, are not!"
He paused, then added casually, "Many senior experts are present here. So tell me, how did you get the right to speak before them? Don't forget, you're Li Jue Tian's son, not Li Jue Tian himself. Who exactly are you? And what qualifications do you truly possess?"
Li Teng Yun's expression darkened. Seeing that he was losing ground, he sneered and changed tactics.
"How dare you speak to me like that?" He shouted. "You've got some guts! Who do you think you are?!"
Jun Mo Xie smiled wider at Li Teng Yun's question.
"This elder brother is called Jun Mo Xie," He said leisurely. "You must have heard of me. I'm quite a famous name, isn't it? Thunder to the ears, bright moon in the sky. Someone worthy of admiration. You should be honored."
Li Teng Yun burst into laughter. "So it's that Jun Mo Xie! The debauchee wastrel of the Jun Family! The famous lecher of Tian Xiang City who never avoids committing crimes!"
His eyes were filled with mockery. "An honor indeed! Your filthy reputation truly deserves its fame!"
He swept his gaze around and sneered again. "So many powerful experts have gathered here, yet a ruffian like you dares to show up? What seniority does a hoodlum Young Master like you have here?"
Jun Mo Xie wasn't angry. Instead, he smiled mischievously.
"I admit I'm a lecher who wouldn't shy from any crime," He said lightly. "But even I wouldn't try to snatch a young woman who is already another family's daughter-in-law. In this matter, Young Master Li, you are my senior. Us debauchees truly have much to learn from you."
Li Teng Yun's face instantly reddened.
"You—! Guan Qing Han is a good woman!" He snapped. "Your Jun Family forcibly seized her! The two of us are meant for each other! I'm only saving her from hell! What's wrong with that? Your eldest brother has been dead for years! Do you expect her to guard his memory forever?!"
Jun Mo Xie looked up at the sky and laughed loudly. "You two are meant for each other? You're saving her from hell?"
He laughed even harder."Did you even ask for her consent?"
He slowly lowered his head, his eyes cold and sharp.
"I always believed shameless people existed in this world, but you truly broadened my horizons. You twisted truth and right into nonsense. You tried to snatch a woman... a married woman, and even threatened to wipe out her entire family if they refused!"
His voice rose slightly.
"And this is what you call destiny? Salvation?" Jun Mo Xie shook his head dramatically. "Today, even I, the greatest wastrel and debauchee, must step down and hand over the banner of shamelessness to Young Master Li. Your name deserves to be written on it in bold letters! I sincerely admire you. Your shamelessness is unmatched in this world!"
The entire field fell silent as nobody dared to interfere.
Many members of powerful families were present. Most of them had not known about this matter before.
Now, their gazes toward Li Teng Yun turned icy and filled with contempt.
Xue Hun Manor was dominant, yes... but this was beyond outrageous.
In this world, honor and moral discipline were deeply valued. If Li Teng Yun had truly done such things, he had crossed a line no one could tolerate.
Just as murmurs began to spread, an angry shout rang out from within a tent.
"That's enough!"
The voice was not loud, yet its force exploded through the air, shaking everyone's hearts and silencing the entire field at once.
A few silhouettes slowly emerged from inside the tent.
The moment they stepped out, an invisible pressure swept across the ground like a heavy tide. Majestic auras surged outward, covering the entire area and forcing everyone present to unconsciously hold their breath.
At the forefront stood a tall man.
His face was calm and dull, showing no obvious emotion. Three thin wisps of black beard swayed gently in the wind, hanging down to his chest. His eyes were deep and steady, radiating an indescribable power. There was no arrogance in them, nor any deliberate show of prestige.
Yet, they carried a natural authority, one that belonged only to those who stood at the peak of the world.
This was not the kind of dominance that needed to be displayed.
It was the kind that made others lower their heads without realizing it.
Standing there, he gave off the feeling of possessing tyrannical, superhuman strength. It felt as if nothing in this world could restrain him.
He did not look down on others on purpose.
And yet, everyone felt the same thing.
No man here was worthy of standing in his eyes.
It was this man who had spoken just moments ago.
It was his single shout that had silenced the entire field.
Jun Mo Xie slowly raised his eyebrow at the appearance of this person. He had seen this person a few years ago.
This man was none other than the Great Master of the Xue Hun Manor, Li Jue Tian!
