Chapter 33 - Apologies

That was how the Canadian spent his afternoon, letting out soft sighs while finally keeping his gaze fixed on those beautiful gifts. In silence, he held a medium-sized teddy bear wearing a supremely cute outfit, one very similar to what his beloved Kazakh usually wore: a gray shirt, a lovely necklace with an onyx-colored gem mimicking his eyes, a rogue-style leather coat, and dark gray pants; it was an ensemble he always saw on his favorite Kazakh.

"Oh! Beky... thank you for being a part of my life... Now... come here, little one... I'll take you to your owner," he said cheerfully as he held it gently to place it inside a small box. It was a surprising piece of stationery, very kawaii, replete with teddy bears and pastel tones in shades of brown. He felt happy about it and didn't hesitate to smile even wider; he hoped he would accept an invitation to go out for a delicious dinner. Of course, he never mentioned this to the coach, since he knew perfectly well that Taishi would not accept an outing that very day. So, as if he were a ninja, he planted himself before the door corresponding to his childhood love's room, thereby avoiding running into the younger youth's guardian.

"Beky..." he whispered with sweetness and love, hoping he would hear him at that moment, while smiling thoroughly relaxed in front of the door.

Right at that instant, Bek was stepping out of the bathroom. He had put his headphones back on, but he heard something very far off and thought it was his coach. Because of that, he simply approached the door, opened it without overthinking, and walked back toward the bed; after all, if it were his coach, he wouldn't advance all the way in. However, he had mistaken the person.

"Bek! Look what I brought you!" Jake exclaimed, entering his childhood love's room with excitement. Although his eyes were half-closed with emotion, he walked in just as the towel slipped from that sensual body, finally leaving exposed that beautiful, spectacular figure the Canadian fantasized about so much whenever he saw him in those tight-fitting costumes he wore for his performances.

"What are you doing here?" the black-eyed boy asked, startled, attempting to cover himself with a towel that was far too small. But he didn't foresee that Jake would lung right toward him, ending up held by those warm hands that caressed his entire skin. He looked more than embarrassed by the sweep of those hands outlining his hips, his waist, and his legs, until he felt them head toward a very different area... Now he ended up with those two large hands massaging his glutes.

"So perfect... fluffy like chocolates... Oh! Beky... you are perfect..." That deep voice began to echo in his ears. The heat was starting to ignite between the two of them, and even though one of them was dressed, he felt as if he were boiling from the temperature transmitted just by touching Bek.

"Wait... please... stop..." Bek requested with a trembling voice in that moment, until he closed his eyes and placed his hands between them to push the older youth away. It was then that Jake snapped out of it, suddenly realizing where he was, who he was with, and how he had acted.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry, Bek, forgive me! It wasn't my intention..." he began to apologize over and over while backing away from the younger youth, who was trembling from what had just occurred.

"I'm sorry..." the black-haired youth apologized to the older man as well, because it was something that shouldn't have happened if only he had asked him to wait.

That was how the Canadian abandoned the main room toward the small living area of the suite to give privacy to the room's owner.

Bek, for his part, trembled as he looked at his body in the mirror. He felt a shiver down his spine thinking about how Jake had been touching him, and he blushed deeply before putting on comfortable clothes that concealed his body entirely.

"I'm an idiot... an idiot! Bek must hate me! Ah!" Jake told himself as he paced back and forth like a caged lion in the small living room.

"Jake..." A soft, sweet voice called out to him. Although a touch of embarrassment and a bit of fear could be perceived, those purple eyes observed him in a way that Bek found very strange; however, nothing else came from those frightened lips. He thought he had done wrong by pulling away, but he wasn't sure what would happen now.

Upon hearing that small voice calling him, Jake turned gently, ceasing to speak to himself in such a derogatory manner. All he could do was look at him; barely a minute passed when he noticed that sadness was marked in those beautiful eyes. He reacted automatically, and within a couple of movements, he already held him in his arms, even more so when Bek hid against his chest as if wanting to conceal himself from everything that had transpired.

"Forgive me... I'm sorry for what happened... I didn't mean to touch you that way... forgive me..." he apologized as he held his love in his arms, protecting him.

"I... I'm sorry... it was strange, but... I'm afraid of not being to your liking..." Those words fell as a complete surprise to the older youth, who nearly died of a heart attack. Who on earth would be stupid enough to tell Aibek that he was a horrible being? It would be an utter absurdity. Because of that, he didn't hesitate to embrace him with even more love; he thought his little Aibek would hate him, but it wasn't that—on the contrary, it was something very different. He looked mostly insecure about what he himself had done, and Jake realized that... he was still a boy, a being far too pure and too sweet to know any of that malice.

"No, you are the most beautiful and tender being. I shouldn't have dirtied you with my hands touching you like that... I'm sorry, I got carried away..." Gently, he guided him toward the sofa, where he sat him down on his lap. The younger youth looked gorgeous and like a very sweet child while Jake cuddled him softly in his arms.

"Don't say that..." Blushing, Bek hid further into those arms until he closed his eyes, calming down, though he still felt somewhat fearful.

"Look... someone is watching you..." Jake commented suddenly, pulling from his backpack a beautiful plush keychain shaped like a cute little bear dressed exactly like Aibek. He placed it delicately in his hands, since those beautiful little eyes didn't want to see anything.

When Bek felt the object in his hands and perceived how tender it was to the touch, he finally opened his eyes, observing carefully what he held. A beautiful smile began to sketch itself across his face, a sight contemplated by the older youth, who felt more than satisfied with the achievement.

"Beky... I was wondering if you wanted to go have dinner with me... we could go to the hotel restaurant... What do you think?" His voice sounded calmer as he brushed away a few strands of raven hair from that lovely face; he looked very cute pondering the proposal.

"I'd like to... I haven't dined... but... I wouldn't want to..." Even at this point, he didn't feel completely comfortable going out with the Canadian to a public place, because that kiss in front of everyone had scared him a lot.

"I'm sorry... I know the way I acted in the interview was wrong, and I'm sorry for everything... I won't disrespect you again... I will keep my jealousy to myself..." With that, Jake ended up closing his eyes at the younger youth's rejection.

"I'm just afraid of being targeted... but you really should control your jealousy," in the end, Bek began to tease in an enchanting manner before letting out a sweet laugh. And there the two of them were, enjoying those apologies.
