Chapter 6 - 6 Reset

Dimitri stood unfazed by the sudden appearance of the Celestial Keepers. He knew they were coming, which is why he did what he did. Priscilla always hated dealing with the Keepers due to their lack of emotion. They operated like robots, no soul, empathy, or emotions. Simply law and order.

One glided across the floor and stood in front of Dimitri. Based on his aura Dimitri figured he was the leader of this little group. The size difference was very noticeable. Dimitri stood at a height of almost 6 ft tall, while the Gate keeper towered over him at 8 ft. They truly did resemble black grim reapers. Their bodies were almost made of a mixture of dark smoke and mist while the head was shaped into a hood. Each Keeper radiated an aura that was not outclassed in the least bit by the Gods and each held a divine item in their hand. The leader carried a pitch-black sword known simply as Ore The Void. If any mortals ever laid eyes on this weapon, they would descend into an abyss of madness until eventually dying. The second member carried a scale and was known as Maka the Judgement. The last member carried an orb and was known as Bolom The Peace.

Dimitri looked at the Keepers as if they were an annoyance. "Boy, you all are sure getting bold barging into our spaces like this. I wonder what gives you all such newfound confidence," Dimitri stated as he walked back to his couch that had materialized.

The leader seemed to chuckle to itself. "Mind your words, Celestial brat. You know you hold no dominion over us. We may come and go as we please. Now tell me…where is the life force?"

The last thing Haru remembered was being kicked by Dimitri and falling for hours. But that was only due to him not being able to grasp the vastness of space between realms. In fact, he only fell for a few seconds before opening his eyes in his new environment. He woke up and found that he was lying in a bed in an unknown room. 'Was it all a dream?' He reached for his head as it was slightly aching but gradually subsiding.

'Nope, definitely not.'

He slowly turned his head as he looked around the room. From the decor and materials, it seemed as if he was in a small cabin-like house. The room appeared to be a bedroom, and as he turned, there was a picture of him and his... parents? He quickly grabbed the picture and realized there they were. His parents! But he had never taken this picture with them. He slid his hand down and felt tears swelling up behind his eyes. They really were still alive here. He then heard voices approaching and quickly put the picture back. He remembered what Dimitri said. He died in this world. He instantly started to panic. What if they treated him like a zombie and tried to take off his head? He quickly tried to think of a strategy until the door opened.

"I know this is hard, I recall when the manga fever took out many children back in my day. Each one harder than the last but arrangements can be to any of your liking. I..." As the door opened, Haru stared as the people who entered stared in disbelief.

"BY THE SPIRITS OF MORDELL!!" The man shouted as he fell into the door, completely shocked by the scene he was witnessing. The woman too stunned to speak, immediately began to sob uncontrollably as she ran over to the bed and hugged him tightly.

Haru could only stare in shock as the lady hugged him. He couldn't stop it as he felt the tears begin to fall from his own eyes. "Mom?"

"Yes, Haru, my sweet boy, I'm here," the woman replied as she hugged him as if he would disappear. He instantly furrowed his brows.

Haru figured he'd be shocked too if his dead kid was suddenly sitting upright. The man finally regained his composure and came over, shaking as he attempted to remove his glasses. He was an older man, appearing to be in his 60s. He had a thick beard and was chubby wearing robes with the kingdoms markings on the back. He gave off a gentle soul aura. "But how is this possible? It's impossible! I confirmed it myself. Your life force didn't exist anymore. What is happening?!"

From the initial meeting, Haru was able to grasp a general idea of what may have happened. The man appeared to be a healing mage or doctor, and based on his reaction and Dimitri stating he died before his time, Haru deduced he must have fallen ill or been poisoned in some way to suddenly drop dead. He thought about it more, and a million thoughts went through his head. He pushed those to the back as he had to come up with something to get information.

'It's probably better if I don't mention being reincarnated by Celestial Gods,' Haru inwardly thought. "I don't remember anything…was I sick?"

The healer and his mom were taken aback.
