Duan Xingzhi stood on the steps, hands tucked in his pants pockets, looking sideways at her, with a graceful smile on his face.
"Afraid you might feel uncomfortable, I'll take you to the lounge on the third floor. What's wrong?"
Bai Zhi cleared her throat, "Nothing, let's go."
Bai Zhi followed behind him upstairs, her face flushed with embarrassment. She really thought he...
She waved her hand near her face, trying to fan away the heat, but it only seemed to make her feel hotter.
There was a small lounge on the third floor where the three brothers often gathered for tea and conversation, right next to the floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of the garden.
Duan Xingzhi sat down on the sofa, "Sit down."
Bai Zhi sat down a bit further away from him, "How long has he been asleep?"
"Probably less than an hour. Don't worry, if he wakes up, my mom will bring him out."
Bai Zhi pursed her lips, saying nothing more, looking at the view outside and got up to walk to the window.
