Renee Langdon carried large bags and came to visit Tessa Caldwell, but was told that Tessa was sick and couldn't come downstairs to see guests. She asked what was wrong, what illness it was, but everyone shook their heads, each wearing a somber expression.
Grandpa Green said, "It's just a cold, so Chuck has asked her to stay in the bedroom for a few days and not come out."
Upon hearing this, Renee Langdon breathed a sigh of relief, but was still somewhat worried. However, thinking that Tessa should rest well, she had no intention to go upstairs and disturb her.
Grandpa Green heard that the two little babies were awake and quickly asked someone to prepare food. With Tessa being sick these couple of days, Grandpa Green had someone hire a wet nurse.
