Oh no, she even started boasting to Faye, "Mr. Carver, aren't I incredibly, incredibly, incredibly foresighted? Am I not incredibly, incredibly, incredibly smart?"
Faye: "..."
Tessa blinked her big, dark eyes, looking at the still elegant and distinguished Faye. She smiled, "Hey, I have a bit of a headache over your study. What are you going to do with it? Keep it on the second floor? I was thinking of sealing up the second floor."
"Are you worried that I won't recover my memory, or that I'll use some unusual method to recover it?"
"How would I know that."
With that, Tessa turned and left. When she reappeared, she saw that Faye was not sitting on the sofa.
Catching a glimpse from the corner of her eye, she saw a familiar tall figure ascending to the second floor.
A hint of confusion flashed through Tessa's eyes.
