Throughout not only the stadium, but the Leaf Village itself there was panic as the Hokage, and one of their own abruptly disappeared. Taken away with nobody the wiser of how or where. Stolen away by the horror that was Orochimaru himself.
None more so than the chunin exams stadium itself. Luckily, there were many high ranking ninja present who were able to calm the the gathered people.
Instead, the gathered people fell into a tense state of nerves and fear. It was only partially calmed, when the screens that cameras that were in the kage box, appeared to still be in working order despite being transported to who knows where.
Only to return in full force, when they bore witness to the Hokage himself being sealed within a massive purple barrier, while one of the men with Orochimaru, turned into a horrible demonic beast.
"You're stuck in here with me!"
Daiki's voice, now a deep snarling growl echoed throughout the entirety of the Leaf Village.
"Kakashi-sensei, what is going on?!" Sakura rushed to her sensei, finding him Gai-sensei Lee, and his female student Tenten, "I don't understand, what is a Bijuu or a jinchuuriki?"
Her nails were digging deep into her palms, almost hard enough to draw blood as terror filled her stomach, a swooping sensation so deep it almost made her want to vomit. Daiki was all alone facing off against Orochimaru and a bunch of other absurdly strong looking people.
The only thing keeping her from freaking out, was Daiki looking so confident.
"Sensei, we gotta go help Daiki!" Naruto crash landed beside them a moment later, after leaping right out of waiting alcove, and followed a moment later by Sasuke, who looked somehow even more tense than when Orochimaru had terrified him into inaction.
Up close now she could even see how his eyes had changed, but that didn't matter right now.
"There's nothing we can do," Kakashi shook his head, "There's no way to get to him, that was a space time ninjutsu that took Daiki and the Hokage to a sealed space, we don't have anyone capable of jutsu like that now that can follow them."
"So we have to just sit here and do nothing?!" Naruto growled.
"Is it true Gai-sensei?" Lee turned to his own teacher, "Is there no way to help Daiki-kun? What about the summoning jutsu?"
"I'm afraid it does not work like that Lee-kun, while it is indeed a space-time ninjutsu as well, the summoning jutus relies on blood contracts, it cannot help here," Gai shook his head, before clasping lee on the shoulder, "Do not fear Lee-kun! Instead you must believe in him. See how confident Daiki-kun is? And did you not hear? Daiki-kun has been chosen to be the next Hokage, if Sandaime-sama believed in him to such a degree, then there is no doubt! He will win!"
"You…Daiki-kun…you are a Jinchuuriki as well?" Orochimaru's shocked voice echoed throughout the stadium just then, "Your eyes…the Sanbi! I see, so I was wrong, it was not the precursor to the Rinnegan at all!"
"When did I say it was?" Daiki scoffed, confidently walking towards Orochimaru and his group, tails lazily waving behind him, "And unlike that half baked corpse of yours, I'm a perfect Jinchuuriki with the full strength of my bijuu!" as he declared that, he spread his arms wide, and suddenly, his two blades were in hand, and the cloth tied around his arm shifted, slinking over his torso and changed shape, forming into gleaming black torso armour.
"There it is again!" Tenten noted, "And he said Sanbi there, three tails, like the Kyuubi means nine tails? Are they related?"
Kakashi sighed-
"No you see, er it's like-" Naruto suddenly said, stumbling over his words, but before he could say anything, Sasuke cut in.
"Yes, just like that," Sasuke said bluntly, making Sakura, Tenten and Lee's eyes widen. And they weren't the only ones, after all, Sakura had been sitting with Ino, and Choji, who were still in listening range, "There's nine in total, just like the Kyuubi, they're called Bijuu. They can't die, not even the Kyuubi, they have to be sealed away, in people called Jinchuuriki. To be blunt, some people tried to use the Sanbi to attack Konoha, Daiki came across them and risked his life to seal the Sanbi inside himself instead of letting them use it to attack Konoha and-"
He never got to finish as Naruto snarled and grabbed his collar, "Bastard, what the fuck do you think you're spouting! That's private, you can't just go blurting all that out."
Surprisingly, Sasuke didn't snarl and bite back, he just sighed, "I know, but they'd find out anyway," he ran a hand through his hair, and the shock of Sasuke not firing back actually made Naruto let go, his anger draining away, "Daiki won't care though, he's proud of being a Jinchuuriki. Not only does it give him access to the Bijuu's power and make him way stronger, but he risked his life for the village to protect everyone. No matter what anyone says or how they act, he'll stay proud of that fact and boast loudly and proudly."
Just then Daiki swung his arm, and a massive wave of force rocketed towards Orochimaru, tearing the ground and rocks apart, shattering all in its way and blowing them all back-
All but the demonic form of Fukai that roared and charged straight through the shock wave, bullying straight through with pure force.
Daiki moved forward too in a blur of speed and force, and they collided with so much force another shock wave erupted, and the ground broke beneath them, an enormous crater over fifty feet deep forming beneath them as the ground caved underneath their strength.
Daiki stabbed down, one sword going through Fukai's knee pinning it to the ground, before jumping back to avoid eight tails shooting around Fukai's body to skewer him.
Fukai grabbed the blade in his leg and ripped it free, before launching after Daiki with so much force the crater deepened, only for a roar of confusion to leave the demonic beast as he was lit up with lightning from the sword in his hand.
It did nothing more than stun Fukai for split moment, but it was enough as the blade broke free from his grip and spun like a buzz saw, slicing the hand off at the wrist, and zipping away clad in lightning chakra-
And then three tails swung down from above, three glowing swirling green spheres of chakra held curled within each one, "Rasen-Tarengan!"
And world was drowned out in a flash of light and a shock wave of such force it looked like an earthquake tore through the area.
