The group remained in the Crescent Moon Faction for another day after Grey finished the stabilizing array. The Faction Leader had insisted they rest properly before leaving, and none of them argued. The small world was cold, but the essence density made recovery easier. Besides, Grey was also a Water Elementalist, so he benefited from staying longer. The thick snow and constant chill seemed to settle into his bones in a way that felt almost familiar rather than unpleasant.

Klaus found Grey sitting on a low wall outside one of the guest buildings, looking out over the snow-covered valley. Void was lying by his side, half-buried in a thin layer of snow. The cat raised his head when he saw Klaus, then lazily dropped it back to the ground with a soft huff.
