Julian Rhodes looked at her, walked over, stood in front of her, and in a gentle, coaxing tone said, "I was wrong, I'm apologizing to you, wifey, forgive me this once."
Scarlett Xavier listened to him and felt both annoyed and helpless.
Of course, she wasn't really mad at him.
Qifeng had already brought the power bank over; seeing the couple standing there with Dr. Rhodes' gaze about to melt the other person, he didn't feel it was right to interrupt.
Julian didn't hug Scarlett, he just said to her, "Let's go, we'll head upstairs first, I'll go change my clothes."
He had just come out of surgery and hadn't held her.
Scarlett followed behind him into the elevator; when they reached his lounge, Julian went to shower and change his clothes. Scarlett sat on the sofa, listening to the sound of running water from inside, saying nothing.
Qifeng had already come in, put the power bank to the side, then poured Scarlett a glass of water. "Ma'am."
Scarlett glanced at him. "Thank you."
