Julian Rhodes put the towel aside, hugged her, and whispered in her ear, "I'm scared... scared that once you remember those things, you'll leave me. Scarlett, please don't leave me, okay? After everything we've been through, I really can't take the blow of you leaving me again."
As he spoke, he unconsciously held her tighter, as if afraid she would slip away.
His hair was still a bit cool and wet, dripping onto her neck.
Scarlett Xavier said, "The water from your hair is dripping on my neck."
Upon hearing her protest, Julian quickly let her go.
He looked at her and said, "I'm sorry, I just... I'm too scared."
Meeting him in this life meant there were no other choices for him.
Listening to him, Scarlett picked up the towel next to her and started drying his hair.
He sat before her, obediently.
The Scarlett in front of him was no longer the silly girl from her amnesiac days. Julian looked at her, seeing how much she had matured, and asked, "Have you remembered everything?"
