Scarlett Xavier rarely visits brand-name stores like this.
When she followed Vivian Bell inside, the store clerk saw them and asked, "What would you like to see, ladies?"
Scarlett replied, "Just browsing."
The clerk glanced at Scarlett and Vivian; neither of them were wearing any brand-name clothing. Since they both work in women's fashion, Scarlett and Vivian rarely buy clothes outside, let alone such expensive ones.
After hearing them say "Just browsing," the clerk stopped paying attention to them and went to attend to an aunt nearby.
Scarlett looked around for a while and moved over to the men's section, saying to Vivian, "Vivi, what do you think of this belt?"
Vivian walked over, stood next to Scarlett, glanced at it, and said, "Are you buying it for Julian Rhodes?"
"Who else?" Scarlett replied, "I don't make men's clothing... so I have to buy it for him."
If Scarlett made men's clothing, Julian would probably be forced to wear what she made.
