Zes's P.O.V
My claws dug into the soil as I ran. I could feel my heartbeat rising; I could hear it echo in my ears as I ran. Zene frantically tries to contact Ryder. My eyes got blurry with tears, fear? Anger? I wasn't sure what those tears were from, with the emotional rollercoaster I am experiencing. It was almost impossible- no, it is impossible to get it straight!
I have no idea where he is. He hasn't howled back. So it means I have to find him. He didn't howl for directions to back home; he howled for help. And I will find him.
'Knox, can you hear me? Where are you? Please reply' I frantically mindlink him. I waited for a response, but didn't get any. I asked Zene to keep trying to get hold of him, which she was already doing.
