It took three days before Ryuchen's assistant finished transferring the ownership for the Royal Blue building on his name and fixed his apartment, and immediately moved to the building beside Chloe's apartment on the fourth day. He feels like God is helping him, because He vacant the room next to Chloe.
His assistant fixed and finished the interior of his apartment since yesterday, so he just have to arranged his belongings. A few hours later, he sat down on the couch and take a little rest, he had no idea that it was hard to move out. He took his phone on his pocket and was about to call his assistant to ask him to bring food when he heard a knock on the door.
Ryuchen frowned, no one knows that he moved there or perhaps it was Robin, because he is the only one who knows that he lives there now. He smirked, thinking that he might have brought him food.
Ryuchen's eyes widened when he saw Chloe standing in front of his apartment when he open the door, he really didn't expect her to knock on his door.
Earlier when he reached his apartment, he was urging to knock on her door but he stopped himself. He doesn't want her to be surprised and leave if she found out that he was staying next to her apartment. He just want to secured her safety that's why he moved in that building, and to see her sometimes, of course.
Nah...
"What are you doing here?" they both asked to each other in shock.
"You?" Chloe even covered her mouth. "You're the one who moved here?"
"I just moved today." Ryuchen slightly raised his right eyebrow. "How about you, what are you doing here? Did you secretly followed me here?" he teases her.
"No way! Why did you move here!?" she asked, stomping her foot. "There are so many five start hotels and apartments here in the city, why did you moved here?"
"I own this building and it's closer to my company."
Well, it's true.
The building is closer to his company than to their villa.
Ryuchen saw her frowned and he secretly smile, he was surprise when Chloe suddenly handed over a small box she was holding to him.
"If I knew you were the one who moved here, I wouldn't have bothered to buy a cake for welcoming you." she said.
His smiles widened when he saw how childish Chloe looks like, she's frowning and pouting like a child.
Ryuchen took the box of cake that his wife handed to him on his one hand, and grabbed her hand on the other.
"What are you doing?" she looked surprised.
"Why don't we both eat this cake?" he said to her while smiling.
Ryuchen did not let her refuse as he immediately pulled her inside his apartment, good thing that he finished tidying up. He kept on pulling her until they reached the dinning area.
"Ryuchen..." she raised an eyebrow. "What do you think you're doing?"
"I just want to eat the cake with you." he said, then put the cake on the table. "Let's eat first before you return to your room."
"I do not want to eat."
"But...eating alone is lonely." he pouted and made his face looks sad. "I want to eat with you, please."
Chloe was stunned because of his action, even him couldn't believed that he will do 'baby talk' but he was not embarrassed. And Ryuchen knows Chloe will not say no because since they were kids, Chloe has a soft heart.
He knows that his acting was effective when he heard her sighed.
"Then why did you moved here when you're not used to eating alone?" she said, she sounds irritated but her cheeks were slightly red as she avoided looking at him. "W-Why don't you just call Lyka, I know she's more than willing to eat with you."
Because her hair was tied like a bun, he could see the redness of his ears and nape which he find attractive. Ryuchen couldn't stop the smile from coming out of his lips.
Is she jealous?
"Chloe..." he said and kissed the back of her hand. "I know it's too late but I really want to apologize, I'm sorry. I'm really, really sorry for all the things I've done to you. I had wronged you back then, because of my childish thought. I'm so sorry."
Chloe didn't answered, she just stared at him and listen.
"I will do everything to make you forgive me, so please... please trust me this time. I will never hurt you again, I will listen and believe only you and love only you for the rest of our lives."
Ryuchen grabbed her other hand and kissed both of it, which made her face turned red.
"Y-You don't have to apologize." Chloe said and sighed once more.
"No, I need and I have to apologize to you." he exclaimed. "I know what was happening but I didn't believed you, which I regret now. I was blinded, no, I choose to be blind because of my anger and just let them hurt you and insult you. But from now on I will protect you, my wife."
He stares at her beautiful face, he saw that she opened her mouth but she didn't say anything.
Chloe was confused, everything was so sudden that she didn't know what to do. She wants to forgive him and believe at him that he change, but she was scared. She's afraid that it was all just the couple scheme, but if their plan was for her to leave, Ryuchen doesn't have to do and say all those things because she was willing to divorce him.
Unless Ryuchen has really want to changed, he changed drastically that she couldn't cope up.
"...I'll think about it, Ryuchen." he's face brightened because of what she said. "Give me time to think, it's not easy to forget what happened, so I hope you understand."
She still has two weeks before her parents go back to the country, so she still has time to think about what he said. She still have time, before she talks to her parents about her plan to go back to America with them.
The smile on Ryuchen's face was wide as the pacific ocean, he still has a chance to be with his wife.
"Of course, of course." Ryuchen answered in an instant. "Let's eat."
Ryuchen was about to get a plate when he heard her speak.
"No, I'm fine. I really don't want to eat so I'm going back to my apartment."
His heart pounded and immediately approached her as he saw her walked out of the dining area.
"A-Are you leaving already?" he asked as he held her by the hand. "I can't afford to finish that cake."
"If you can't finish it, just throw it away."
"No way!" Ryuchen pulled her back to the dining area. "You gave this to me, so of course I will not throw it."
But since Ryuchen was not yet familiar with his new apartment, he lost sight of the slightly tilted metal from the sliding door leading into the dining area. He suddenly lost his balance and looked at Chloe who also lost her balance because he accidentally pulled her hand. He immediately hugged her to protect her when they fell.
He felt a slight pain coming from his back because of the fall, but the pain disappeared when he felt something soft touching his lips.
Ryuchen saw Chloe's eyes widened when he open his eyes, and then noticed that Chloe's lips were touching his lips.
So soft!!
But instead of pushing her a bit to stand up, Ryuchen grabbed the back of Chloe's head so that she couldn't keep her lips away from him. Chloe looks shocked, but he just kissed her still. He open his mouth a bit and slowly moved his lips to see how she will react, just a few seconds later, Ryuchen felt Chloe's mouth open a little, causing his body to heat up.
Oh, you little cutie.
He closed his eyes just like Chloe did and deepened his kiss, he couldn't help but to put his tongue inside her mouth and licked all parts of Chloe's mouth. They haven't eaten the cake yet but her mouth was so sweet that it's addicting. It was so much sweetness that he couldn't help but to deepened their kisses more.
Ryuchen put his left hand inside her t-shirt and touched her bare back, she was so soft and smooth, which driving him crazy. He was about to lose his mind, he even thought of bringing her into his room at that moment when he heard her moan.
"Uhmm.!"
Only then did he realized that Chloe is not responding to his kisses and feels like she's struggling.
"I... I can't... breathe."
He immediately moved his lips from hers lips, and Chloe gasped some air.
"Why aren't you breathing?" he asked her worriedly while fixing her hair.
"I... I don't know... how." she said and covered her face with her hands.
Ryuchen burst out laughing when he heard her answered, his wife was so cute, too cute. Why didn't he find out back then that she's interesting, he feels happy by simply teasing her. The way her face turned red looks attractive, and the way she tantrum like earlier when he found out that he was the one who moved next to her apartment was so adorable.
He removed her hands that covering her beautiful face and kissed her forehead, Chloe's face quickly turn red once again.
"Let's practice together how to breathe, okay?"
Ryuchen gave her a meaningful smile and wink at her which made her face turned red even more, and laugh when Chloe suddenly hit his chest and leaned his forehead on his chest to cover her face.
Since Chloe is not heavy, he was able to stand up while she's on top of him. And as soon as they stood up, he quickly tightened his embrace on his waist and pulled her closer to him.
"Do you want to continue inside my room or you will eat with me?" he smirked.
Chloe open her mouth but she closed it again like she didn't know what to say.
"Okay, let's eat." he said happily, he removed his embrace on her waist and hold her hand. "Don't refuse and walked out anymore, because I will just chase you again, then I will stumble again, then we will fall, then kiss--."
Chloe quickly covered his mouth using her both small hands to stopped him from talking.
"Okay fine, I will eat." she pout then sat on the chair in front of the table. "Shameless. Pervert. Maniac." she murmured.
But he heard her and laugh while he was taking plate for both of them.
Ryuchen couldn't explained how happy he feels at that moment as he watched Chloe who was busy slicing the cake, her face shows irritation but he can still see the glow in her eyes. It's seems like she's enjoying the moments as well, just like him. He feels like his heart was filled with pleasure, causing him to desire her even more. He want to see her smile again, hear her laughter, tease her even more, hugged her tightly and kissed her deeply.
Even Ryuchen was not familiar with that feeling, he never felt that kind of happiness and desire to anyone, even with Lyka. Even though he was with Lyka for almost twelve years, he never felt that kind of happiness with her because he knew that he only has to be grateful to her for saving his life. He never had a desire of having a real relationship with her either, he couldn't even imagine kissing and hugging her. He just likes her because she understands him and never leave his side and thought she was the one who saved him, so he felt indebted to her. He pampered her, gave everything that she asked for, fame, money, jewelries. Everything.
Of course, there was a time that he enjoyed being with Lyka, but it was far different with how he feels while he was with Chloe. They only stayed together for a couple of hours, but he already filled with happiness, the happiness that anyone could wished and hope that it will never end.
Ryuchen wants to please Chloe, he wants to learn more about her, he wants to be with her. And to be honest, that kiss was his first kiss and their first kiss as well because they didn't kiss on their wedding. He doesn't have any experience, neither kiss or make love, he just let his lips do what he wanted to do with Chloe's lips which filled with desire.
