Chapter 1776 - bbh

Disclaimer: I do not own Jujutsu Kaisen. The characters used here belong to Gege Akutami and shounen jump. This is only for fun.

AN: Trying out a diff POV this chapter.

"Stop screwing around! If you're gonna take over just do it already!"

Still nothing.

"…brat?" Could it be?

Absolute silence.

'Heh.'

Fushiguro Megumi POV

The past few minutes after Ichiji drove off with Kugisaki were some of the most nerve wracking of his life. Not knowing whether or not his new classmate would make it out alive, possessed, or worse was seriously draining. 'Still,' Megumi thought, clenching his fists, 'no matter what, it's my responsibility to see this through to the end.'

No sooner than he finished that thought was there a fluctuation of cursed energy in the air. He spun around to face the building and his eyes widened at what he both saw and felt. 'The innate domain's closed off! The special grade is dead!' Megumi let out a breath he hadn't even realized he was holding.

'Now all I have to do is wait for itadori to return safely and we can both—'

"Sorry, but he's not coming back." A voice spoke from behind him.

'…shit.'

"Come now, don't be so frightened." Sukuna said. "I'm in a great mood so why don't we chat for a bit? Not too long though, I've got some plans I need to get to after all."

Ominous words aside, chat they did. While things may not have gone too bad at the start, Megumi had tensely waited for the other shoe to drop.

It always did.

He did not, however, expect Sukuna to rip out Itadori's heart.

Then they started fighting.

If you could even call it that.

'He's toying with me,' Megumi thought, grimacing internally. Straight, jab, hook, haymaker, kick, roundhouse. He threw out every combination he knew but nothing landed. Even working with Nue wasn't enough. Sukuna danced around their attacks like a leaf in the wind, grabbed his arm—what was that ring on his finger?—brought him in close, and backfisted him away.

"Put more curse behind it when you strike me, boy!" Sukuna lectured. "Bore me again and I'll go have my fun somewhere else! Perhaps I'll start by tracking down that feisty classmate of yours! Breaking her in will certainly prove to be a good time, women like her always are!" He cackled, igniting Megumi's anger.

'BASTARD! OROCHI!' With a hand sign, the great serpent burst out of the shadows beneath Sukuna and snatched him into its mouth. He carried the King of Curses into the air where Nue was waiting to barrage him with lightning strikes.

Just as Megumi started to feel a flicker of hope, Sukuna snuffed it out, ripping his way free from Orochi's jaw with brute strength.

He was afforded no time at all to process the loss of one of his strongest summons as, before he could even blink, Sukuna had appeared behind him.

He gripped Megumi's uniform and—

"Hey, what did I just say?"

—tossed him into the air.

"Let's use the open space!"

There was nothing he could do as Sukuna proceeded to beat him through the night sky. The King of Curses volleyed him back and forth, juggling Megumi's body in the air like it was all just a game to him.

After the fifth blow sent him flying over more buildings, he saw Sukuna up ahead and noticed something strange.

Somehow, he was now holding a large glowing sword like a baseball bat.

Ready to…swing…

…at him.

'OH SHI-!'

"Batter up!" Sukuna announced with a savage smile, bringing the sword forward to meet his body.

*CRUNCH!!!

*BOOOOOOM!!!!

Megumi let out a broken wheeze as he was sent hurtling once more. This time even faster than before and with a decimated rib cage to boot, courtesy of the shockwave released one he'd been struck by the flat of the blade.

'At least he didn't cut me in half.'

Nue caught him and tried to escape but he knew it was pointless.

He didn't stand a chance.

'I-it's not even a matter of jujutsu,' Megumi thought, struggling to breathe. 'His power…his agility, they're on a completely different scale!'

"Nice technique there!" Sukuna appeared above him, shining cursed tool raised high. This time he brought the face of the blade down on megumi's right shoulder—CRACK!!! BOOOOM!!!!—and sent him and Nue spinning out of control towards the ground.

The fight was over.

Now there was only one option left.

He dismissed Nue before it shared the same fate as Orochi. That proved to be the correct decision as an invisible slash tore apart the shadows his shikigami had retreated into.

"Tch."

Megumi struggled to sit up as Sukuna landed a few meters in front of him, greatsword swung lazily over his right shoulder. "I see, so your shikigami are made from shadows are they?"

Like him knowing that even mattered at this point.

"S-so *COUGH! COUGH! COUGH! Urgh, so w-what?" He replied shakily, coughing up blood. The adrenaline had started to wear off and the pain was beginning to settle in.

Great.

Sukuna rubbed his chin, contemplating something before responding. "I don't get it though, why did you run back then?" I frowned at his question and he scoffed. "What a waste of talent. If that's all you've got then you can forget about forcing me to heal this," he jabbed at his bleeding chest with his right thumb. "I'll simply kill you and move on to bigger things since this brat is too weak to stop me. He's clearly willing to let you die, as he's demonstrated. So, if you've got any aces hidden up your sleeve, use them now or perish."

Left with no other choice, Megumi moved to play his final trump card. Just getting off the ground took everything he had on account of his injuries. Luckily for him, Sukuna appeared content to watch him struggle, seemingly savoring Megumi's suffering.

'You'll regret that.'

Finally, he made it to his feet. Countless thoughts ran through his mind as he pushed through the pain and gathered his cursed energy, barely managing to will his right arm into the correct position for the summoning. His sister. The unfairness of the world. His deadbeat dad. Itadori.

Judging by the bloodthirsty smile on his face, Sukuna was ecstatic at Megumi's apparent second wind. "Yes! That's it! I knew sticking around was the right choice!" The strongest sorcerer in history lifted his weapon off his shoulder and pointed it at him as he walked forward. "Show me what you can really do, Fushiguro Megumi!"

"With this treasure I summon-"

He stopped.

The rest of the words refused to leave his mouth.

For whatever reason, he just couldn't go through with it. No, he knew why. He couldn't do it, not yet. 'Not without telling him the truth first. He deserves that much, even if he may not believe it.' Megumi dropped his stance, let his arms rest beside him, and stared death straight in the face.

Sukuna paused his advance and squinted at him, excitement waning. "What are you...?"

He talked. It was difficult on account of the damage he suffered but Megumi didn't let the pain stop him. He told Itadori everything, that he had saved him not for heroic reasons, but for selfish ones. That he was a good person undeserving of his fate and that despite how things ended up, Megumi didn't regret his choice. Not one bit. He left nothing out.

Unexpectedly, that was all he needed to do for his classmate to come back.

Temporarily

After a few parting words and well wishes he fell forward, dead.

Moments later, Megumi collapsed next to him.

Broken, exhausted, terrified.

Guilty.

"I'm…sorry."

He didn't know who he was apologizing to.

Himself, Itadori, or...

He closed his eyes and welcomed the darkness.

Ryomen Sukuna POV

[Feat achieved! Kill Orochi, the great serpent! +1 Bronze familiar ticket]

[Feat achieved! Defeat Fushiguro Megumi without a heart! +1 Silver random ticket]

'Damn it! I underestimated him!' His fists were clenched, his jaw tight.

Sukuna was furious.

At himself and the brat for getting in his way.

'To think he'd be willing to die for someone he hardly even knows…what utter nonsense.'

Though he understood humans and their ways, he would always reject them. The sentimentality, the desire to sacrifice oneself for another, it was the height of foolishness in his eyes.

Unfortunately for him, it appeared that this brat might just be the worst of them when it came to such emotions.

"Right when I was about to see something interesting as well," he grumbled, seated on his pile of skulls. He took a deep breath and exhaled, calming himself. He relaxed his fists.

It wasn't like things were all bad.

'This setback has given me something to work with, at least.' If the brat was so ready to die for the sake of his "friends", how would he handle it when those same people he valued perished as a direct result of his existence? At his own hands no less?

Sukuna would be sure to find out. Perhaps it would be enough to shatter the brat's will and finally make this body his—as it should have always been. 'Fushiguro Megumi doesn't seem too bad either though…'

"Well, I've got some time before he makes himself unwelcome, may as well make the most of it." Plotting aside, he chose to spend the random tickets first.

[Floating]

Uncommon Ability

Allows you to cloak yourself in winds that carry you, allowing you to fly through the air.

[Dojo Key]

Rare Item

An ornate key that, when turned in a sufficiently large space, creates a portal leading into a pocket dimension that is 1 km x 1 km x 1 km in size that contains a large dojo building inside with a moderate garden area. The inside of the Dojo contains all the expected amenities, training dummies, sparring weapons, running water, training uniforms, towels, etc. Everything that originally belonged to the Dojo will be restocked within 24 hours, with the broken parts disposed of, and any destruction that happened inside the Dojo will be repaired at the same time. Nothing that originates from the dojo can be taken out of it. The gate that leads outside the dimension is always open and leads to where the entrance was last opened.

'Hah, what are the odds of that?' he smirked, mood lifted. The ability to take to the skies once more was one he gladly welcomed back. His experience with Hiten had made him a master of flight and aerial combat ages ago. The transition from earth to sky would be a seamless one. Another method of elevating himself above the insects, figuratively and literally.

The second roll wasn't half bad either. A private space entirely separate from his innate domain and away from prying eyes, one where he could train his ever evolving powers freely with no disturbance, was just what he needed. Both now and in the future. It would serve as the perfect battle ground for all of his upcoming challenges as well. That it repaired itself was an added bonus.

The garden was nice too.

'Speaking of challenges,' Sukuna leapt off his seat and landed on the ground with a toothy grin. He twisted the key that had appeared in his hand, rolled both familiar tickets, and stepped through the portal that formed in front of him.

'That cursed spirit and Fushiguro Megumi didn't amount to much. Hopefully these two prove to be more interesting.'

AN: Sorry to everyone who hoped for canon divergence this early. Couldn't find a way to make it work without messing something up. Killing megumi means no mahoraga. Going off to kill people means he's not as interested in potential man, yuji regains his resolve faster, and sukunas trapped with even less gain then he got here. Most divergence happens during shibuya where he's finally free to farm and post enchain.

Dojo key is gonna have him hitting his training arc even harder. You'll see what he cooks up during the time skip in Shibuya. Floating was a nice surprise, he won't even need to train it thanks to his experience using hiten. Didn't think that AU would pay off like this but hey, that's the gacha for ya. If anyone's wondering what I based hiten off of, it's from a fanfic on ff called trials of the strongest. Sukuna SI in the heian era. Peak.

Next chapter will be an interlude so more POV's.

PS: Just finished Sukuna's part in shibuya yesterday. Exhausted but I was finally able to write out two of the earliest ideas I had when first planning this fic and seeing what he rolled. Need's lots of cleaning up but I'm happy I got them down. Looked forward to it for so long. Hopefully you guys like it too.

Please let me know what you all think in the reviews below! I read every comment so don't hold anything back! AN: More POV's, as promised.

Kenjaku POV

'What in the world was that?'

That particular question had been circling in his mind ever since he'd departed from the site of the detention center some time ago. Where first he'd planned to get a glimpse of Sukuna's current power and how he was handling being incarnated, rather than getting any answers, Kenjaku only ended up with more questions.

The cursed tool was an oddity, something he'd never seen nor heard of Sukuna using before. The make of the blade was entirely foreign to Japan's history of forging as well, more akin to a European style greatsword from what he could tell.

Then there was the aura it radiated…

Regardless, even that sword was nothing compared to the technique Sukuna had displayed.

Slowing down time.

Kenjaku knew better than anyone just how versatile jujutsu sorcery could be. The power to manipulate life, death, space, the element's, and more, were well documented.

He himself was in possession of a technique that could affect gravity. Seeing a sorcerer with a time related technique was certainly rare, but not unimaginable. Nothing to get worked up over.

'It's the sorcerer in question that's the problem.'

Sukuna's cursed technique was Shrine. Maybe he'd found some way to store objects inside his domain. Such a thing wasn't unimaginable for someone like the King of Curses. But manipulating time? He'd never displayed any such ability during the heian era.

As such, there was only one plausible explanation. The technique belonged to Itadori Yuuji, and Sukuna, having possessed his body and gained access to its latent abilities, had merely learned to use the power before his son even knew it was there.

'But still,' he thought to himself, tapping his chin as he strolled down the street. 'Something feels off.'

He was broken out of his musing by a voice a few paces behind him.

It was the volcano headed curse, Jogo.

"You were right."

"Hmm?"

He looked backwards as he replied, half paying attention, half thinking about the ramifications of what he'd seen earlier.

"About using the finger to test Sukuna. You were right." Jogo said, seemingly deep in thought.

"That sword gave me a real nasty feeling and the technique he displayed was strange. Not at all like what you've described his to be." The disaster curses single eye settled on him with a suspicious glint.

'Think I'm holding out on you, eh?'

Well, it wasn't like the curse was totally wrong.

He smiled back. "We certainly learned some valuable information, didn't we?" The spirit growled at his lackadaisical response, a puff of smoke shooting out of it's head.

'Adorable,' he chuckled, facing forward as he returned to his thoughts. He may not have had all the answers but that was fine. He'd learn them in time, as he always did.

'Things sure are shaping up to be interesting.' He couldn't help but smile in anticipation for what was to come.

'What else are you hiding, Sukuna?'

Gojo Satoru POV

Failure, despite what most people believed, was something Satoru had grown to become quite familiar with over the years.

He'd failed to save Riko.

Failed to notice his best friend spiral into insanity until it was too late.

He wasn't there for Haibara.

He couldn't help Tsumiki.

And now, he'd failed once again.

Yuji was dead. Killed himself to save Megumi–poor kid couldn't even look him in the eye when delivering the news before Shoko kicked him out so she could focus on her work–and countless other innocent lives Sukuna may have ended before Gojo could get there to stop him.

Megumi, on the other hand, had nearly died himself by the time Satoru had arrived.

His entire ribcage had practically exploded inward, puncturing his lungs and leaving behind scattered bone fragments, leading to near fatal amounts of internal damage and bleeding. It was a miracle he survived long enough for Satoru to bring him to Shoko in time for healing.

He didn't like admitting how close he'd come to losing three of his students today.

All of this happening because those annoying fossils just wouldn't stay out of his business only made it worse.

"Maybe I should just kill all the higher ups." The words were delivered calmly, not at all reflecting the rage he was feeling inside. Before Ichiji could shit himself, the door slid open and his friend walked in.

"You're not usually this emotional." She greeted him nonchalantly, as if things were normal. That, for whatever reason, on top of the massive shitshow the whole day had been, got to him a bit.

"Is this a usual situation?" He coolly replied, staring at her through his blindfold. Her eyebrows raised a fraction, gait faltering for a second. Something that, for anyone less hardened by the realities of their world, may as well have been a dropped jaw.

'Alright, maybe it's getting to me more than just a bit.'

He laughed and waved off her questioning gaze. "Heh! My bad, my bad. I just…uh…ya know."

He hated feeling like this.

Failure, no matter how many times he experienced it, never got any easier to deal with.

"I know, Satoru," she said, tone a smidge softer, apologetic. "I know."

'Great, now she feels bad,' he grimaced slightly.

What the hell was he doing?

He had to get it together.

To be the pillar everyone relied on.

The silence lasted for a few seconds before she continued. "Before I get started, I just wanted to let you know that Megumi and Nobara have both made full recoveries and left the infirmary under their own power. Her injuries were a quick fix but Megumi's took much longer and a lot more work. Sukuna really did a number on him."

Satoru's jaw tightened at hearing that name before he relaxed.

There was no point in getting angry over a dead man, after all.

"Regardless, they're back in good health so megumi should be able to give you a more detailed explanation of what happened later. They just need a good night's sleep to take care of the fatigue, maybe a few nights in Megumi's case. Mentally, though…" her sentence trailed off and he let out a sigh.

He couldn't expect either of them to bounce back so quickly from their first team mission ending so catastrophically, but they didn't have a choice.

A jujutsu sorcerer's life was full of misery.

They'd either grow from this or break here and now.

Satoru wasn't keen on failing them again.

'I promise', he vowed, looking at Yuji's covered body.

'I won't let your death be in vain.'

Itadori Yuji Pov

'Where am I?' Yuji thought to himself, looking at the bloody landscape littered with skulls.

'Is this hell? But I thought I was a pretty good person in life!' He started to run around, panicked.

'I helped that old lady cross the street once! Got a cat out of a tree! I even–' in the middle of his internal meltdown he tripped over his own two feet and face planted.

"BLEGH! GROSS! That really is blood!" Spitting out the crimson liquid he partially swallowed, Yuji got back up off the ground, shook himself dry, and began to wander around after no one showed up to claim his soul.

The complete and utter silence was seriously creeping him out.

After some time had passed and he'd begun to calm down, he came across a portal. An actual, circular, sci fi-like portal.

'This is just like in Human Earth Worm 2!'

He leapt through the portal without a second thought and came across a completely different environment.

It was the polar opposite of the hellscape he'd just left.

Spoiler: Scenery of the first image but built more like the second.

The sky was a bright blue with a few clouds drifting by. There was a single large building on the plot of land, along with a crystal clear pond where koi fish swam, and a bridge to cross over it. There was even a moderately sized garden.

It was as pretty as it was shocking.

After a few seconds of taking in the sight and admiring the drastic change of scenery, he flinched as a noise suddenly cut through the moment. It was something Yuji had never heard before, but could instinctively tell what the root cause was.

Violence.

*CLANG!!!

The sound continued, slowly at first, before rapidly increasing in pace. The irritating noise was soon joined by an even more aggravating laughter.

His eyes widened at hearing that voice, then narrowed into a glare. 'Sukuna!'

Yuji sprinted over to the back of the building where the clanging was coming from, turned the corner, and froze as he was greeted by a scene straight out of a shonen battle series.

The terrain was utterly destroyed.

Craters littered the ground in every direction, trees had been chopped down, grooves lined the earth in droves, and the back of the building looked like it had been hacked away at by a psycho slasher.

In the middle of all that destruction were two figures, locked in a duel.

Sukuna was one of them, grinning and laughing wildly while using that same sword he'd beaten Fushiguro down with. He was shirtless and Yuji noted he looked a little….different, compared to himself.

His muscles, specifically.

He frowned, annoyed. 'Why does he look more jacked than me? Isn't he using my body?'

The petulant thought was pushed to the side once he took a closer look at Sukuna's opponent.

Spoiler: Big Iron

He was fighting what could only be described as a massive figure made of blue fire and shadow. The giant wore wispy yet solid black armor and wielded a large axe, meeting Sukuna blow for blow in a furious exchange that appeared as nothing more than a blur to his untrained eyes.

Yuji took a few steps back and peeked around the edge, waiting for his chance to rush in and help the big guy.

Weapons separating from their most recent clash, both combatants heaved their arms back, gathered their strength, and struck forward for a final blow. The resulting shockwave blew them both backwards.

Yuji clung to the side of the building, holding on for dear life to avoid being sent flying away as his feet dangled in the air.

'ANIME! THIS IS TOTALLY AN ANIME MOMENT!!!'

Sukuna's laughter cut through his thoughts for a second time.

"HAH! I'll admit, you're not half bad in terms of strength and durability, warrior, but you're merely a brute at the end of the day."

He looked completely unbothered by what appeared to be a stalemate, discarding his sword and walking right back towards his opponent who was doing the same.

'No, he's…happy?' Yuji realized, confused. 'What the–'

"You've entertained me much more than that animal did, but I've had my fun. What do you say we end this charade, hmm?" Smiling, Sukuna came to a stop and brought his hands together into some kind of seal.

'Wait' his eyes widened, a chilling realization washing over him. 'Isn't that...'

The big guy seemed to sense something was off as he desperately rushed forward, axe raised overhead to crush Sukuna before he could accomplish whatever he was planning.

He didn't make it in time.

"Dragon Scales. Repulsion. Paired Falling Stars."

Something unseen passed through the air at those words.

The giant made it a few more steps before pausing. Slowly, its torso fell backwards while its legs remained standing. Moments later, both halves faded away into nothing.

Yuji's heart was hammering in his chest.

'Wha–What the hell? That wasn't—'

Sukuna slowly lowered his arms and turned to stare directly at him, amusement dancing in his eyes.

His heart stuttered for a beat.

"Well, will you keep hiding like the vermin you are, brat, or do you have something to say? I'm in a good mood, so you had best not ruin it."

Yuji froze for half a second. Then, he swallowed his fear, steeled himself, and stepped out to face the monster wearing his face. Right when he was about to open his mouth—

"Too late. You've soiled it with your presence alone."

'This fucking guy!'

He lost his temper in an instant.

"Ruined your mood?! Fuck your mood, asshole! YOU killed ME!" He pointed at himself, veins throbbing on his forehead.

Didn't he have any shame?!

"Is this the thanks I get for healing your arm? How ungrateful." Sukuna tutted at him.

'Apparently not.'

Then again, this psycho's first words after a thousand year long nap were about finding women and children to slaughter.

"I'll show you ungrateful!"

Heedless of the battle he'd just witnessed, Yuji rushed forward to strike at Sukuna. He didn't care where they were or who that other guy was anymore. He just wanted to hit the asshole in front of him.

Unfortunately, his anger didn't translate into strength as well as he'd hoped. He couldn't land a single blow. Sukuna either dodged or parried all of his punches with ease. After several more misses, Yuji swung at the ground near his opponent's feet instead, aiming to catch him off guard. A smaller crater joined the larger ones surrounding them and Sukuna stumbled from the impact.

"Gotcha!" Yuji exclaimed triumphantly, placing both hands on the ground and launching a backwards kick right at the scum bags face.

*WHOOSH!

"Eh?"

Where'd he go?

"Man, you're boring."

A kick to the ass launched him into the air. He flew for a few seconds—totally not screaming like a little girl—and rolled to stop in a ditch after landing.

'D-damn it! I thought I had–'

"OOOF!" he exhaled, internal dialogue interrupted by Sukuna having walked over and taken a seat on his back.

"Even that beast put up a better fight than you and it died rather quickly. Speaking of death, we live yet, brat."

'Beast? What is he…Wait!'

"What do you mean?"

Was this not the afterlife then?

'Makes sense, no way someone like Sukuna would be in a place this nice,' he nodded to himself.

"I mean what I said. We're still alive, but that could change soon. There's not much time left. Accept my terms and I'll heal you."

They talked for a while, going over the terms, arguing back and forth, until finally–

"Alright. I accept, just get offa me already!"

He could practically feel the smugness radiating from his inner demon as he rose to his feet.

Yuji got up next, rubbing the back of his head as he spoke. "Don't really know what you're after," he started, carfree, or so it seemed. "But I'll be alive in the end, right?"

Before Sukuna could respond, Yuj lashed out with a fist straight towards his jaw.

*WHOOSH!

This time, his knuckles passed through an afterimage.

He blinked.

'Again?!'

"How predictable." Sukuna said from behind him.

Yuji spun around, hands up, ready for round two.

"Since you're so eager to fight, how about this? A death match. If you win—Snrk—I'll revive you with no conditions. If I win, the binding vow is enforced. How's that sound?"

Did he even stand a chance?

'That other guy was way stronger than the cursed spirit who destroyed me, and Sukuna killed them both no problem. I haven't even been able to touch him.'

The fear he buried earlier began to resurface.

Sukuna seemed to sense his unease as he laughed.

"Why don't I make it easier? You can attack however you want. As for me? Well, I won't move from this spot." He grinned, pointing at his feet.

Now he was starting to feel insulted.

Won't move from this spot?

'Who does this prick think he is? Vegito? I already saw your trick, so I won't fall for it like they did!'

As long as he watched out for that hand sign, he had a chance.

Yuji clenched his raised fists tighter, confidence and anger surging.

"Sure! I'll kick your—!"

*FWIP!

Huh…

…that's weird…

…why was his body standing over there?

[Challenge Complete! Kill Dire Wolf! +1 Bronze choice ticket]

[Challenge Complete! Kill Iron! +1 Gold choice ticket]

[Feat achieved! Defeat Itadori Yuji and force him into a binding vow in your favor! +1 Silver random ticket]

Finished with healing the brat, Sukuna exhaled, feeling the tension leave his muscles as he allowed his heartbeat and blood flow to return to normal.

He selected the ability category for the choice tickets and rolled them all. Before anything else, he needed to first increase the amount of abilities he could use at once. Having to deal with a cooldown from switching back and forth was likely to prove bothersome in the future.

'Not that it's been a problem as of yet,' he smirked

The wolf was a mundane animal. Powerful for its kind, but nothing a dismantle couldn't deal with.

The brute was different.

Strong, durable, and with a not insignificant healing factor that allowed it to endure his slashes and come back for more, Sukuna had chosen to use the familiar as a means of testing his swordsmanship and physicality.

Stage 2 of the possessing spirit skill had empowered him enough to where he went from being pushed back at the start of their bout, to matching the warrior blow for blow with the aid of the holy moonlight swords miniature shockwaves he released each time they crossed blades.

It was fun.

The next fight couldn't come soon enough.

'Hopefully it'll prove to be even more entertaining.'

Spoiler: Live Sukuna Reaction…

'...I'm ignoring that.'

Refusing to acknowledge the first roll, Sukuna lifted the red pitcher that appeared in his hands and drank from it.

Spoiler: Pitcher of Eternal water

'Refreshing indeed.' He stared at the item appreciatively before setting it down, a serious look crossing his face.

Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Sukuna prepared for the most momentous occasion yet since his incarnation into this era.

Eating.

He added orchard to his second ability slot, thought of the fruit he wanted, and started salivating as the most scrumptious delicacy he had ever laid eyes on formed in his right hand.

Ruby red and enticing, he brought the apple–a fruit that didn't exist in its modern form during his era but had been made available to him to create due to the brat's memories—up to his lips, took a second calming breath, shakily exhaled, and bit into it.

The explosion of flavor that hit his tongue sent him to his knees in utter bliss.

It was so much better than he'd imagined.

Crispy, juicy, refreshing.

It was just so…

So...

'SO! GOOD!' He shed a few tears as he finished consuming the apple.

Cut him some slack! The only thing he'd eaten in the past 1000 years were his own fingers!

He needed real food damnit!

Sukuna spent the next half hour filling his stomach. Pineapples, mangoes, peaches, oranges, he gorged himself without restraint.

'This takes me back.'

Fighting, eating, what more could he want?

'This is the life~.'

Binding vow: "For the first part, when I chant enchain, I shall be granted control of your body for one minute. During this time, I won't be able to harm anyone. As for the second, you will forget everything that happened after you entered that portal."

AN: Fun fact, apples during Sukuna's time in japan were, according to google, small, sour, and tart. He had a party as you could tell. Orchard is now his favorite ability. Maybe I went a lil overboard with his eating experience but, eh, what the hell. It was fun so I went for it. JJK can be a bit goofy at times. Eating is also the only like he has listed in the official guidebook so, ya know, there's that.

Mentioned it in a reply before but once he's free, one of the things on his to do list is sample a dish from every part of the world. I'll have some fun with him flying across the planet and dropping in unannounced on some poor chefs.

If their cooking displeases him? They might just be next on the menu.

Feels like I made gojo too emotional here so I'm honestly a bit unsatisfied with his part. Just wanted to emphasize that megumi being moments away from death here as opposed to him being relatively ok like in canon, on top of everything else, affected him more than he was ready for. Might have gone too far though. I'll have to watch out for that in the future. Feel free to call me out if anyone seems too OOC.

RIP big Iron. Became IR/ON. To clarify, Sukuna hit him with an enhanced dismantle, not the world slash. How was the fight? Looked up what Iron could do in SL as well to get a better grasp of his abilities, even if he got the go/jo treatment here. I'm hoping the other familiars he rolls will actually push him. If they end up not doing much, I may have to reroll to get some better ones.

How were the alternating POV's? Hope they didn't sound too similar.

Gojo Satoru POV

"This is cursed energy," he pointed at the dented can for demonstration. "And this is a cursed technique," he moved his finger over to the twisted can. "See?"

"Right." Yuji nodded, hand on his chin. "I don't get it."

"Ok," Satoru hummed, "let's see how I can break this down."

He must have been an excellent teacher—take that, Utahime!—with how quickly Yuji grasped his explanation.

"So then, what you're saying is I'll be able to learn some badass cursed techniques!"

Too bad he had to rain on the kids parade.

"Nope, you're unable to use Jujutsu, Yuji."

It was kinda funny how fast he froze.

Satoru continued, making sure to hold in his chuckles. "Outside of shikigami and barriers, innate cursed techniques are just that, innate. Something you're either born with or you're not. It's a major reason why a sorcerer's skillset is about 80% raw talent."

By the time he was finished speaking, Yuji had completely deflated and began rolling around on the ground, despondent.

'Make that really funny'.

A few giggles slipped out, he just couldn't help himself.

'Oh, right,' he cleared his throat and got back on track. 'Almost forgot.'

"Besides, a sorcerer can only ever be born with a single technique."

Oddly enough, his words stopped Yuji's lamenting cold. The first-year sat up, an odd look on his face.

"What was that?"

Gojo raised an eyebrow at the abrupt shift in behaviour but repeated himself. "I said, everyone that's born with a cursed technique only has one."

"Just one?" Yuji asked, right index finger raised up.

"Yes," he responded, a bit puzzled himself now. "One, uno, un, eins, what's so confusing about that?"

Was he missing something?

"Nothing, it's just…" Yuji hesitated, gazing at him with a conflicted look and he motioned for the kid to continue. "When I was trapped inside my body and Sukuna was in control, I was able to see him fight. It kinda looked like he had more than one technique."

"Oh yea?" Gojo asked, wanting to hear Yuji's perspective of what went on during his first mission. "What'd he do?"

While rare, there were a few dusty old scrolls he'd managed to get his hands on recently that contained information on Sukuna and his technique. According to his research, it revolved around cutting things.

An invisible slash that traveled through the air for one, and a second attack that activated once he made contact with another person, chopping them into pieces. Even rarer were the mentions of some kind of flame manipulation. It was only brought up once or twice, but they were described as being potent enough to wipe out entire squads of high ranking sorcerers.

'Sooooo scary.'

For anyone other than himself, that is.

Still, maybe that's what Yuji saw him use on the cursed spirit?

'That sword is another issue though.'

There were no recordings of it or the ring Megumi had brought up during his more coherent report once he'd fully recovered. The sword had disappeared once Yuji took back control of his body from what Megumi had seen, and the ring was nowhere to be found when Satoru had brought them both in either.

The disappearing act was strange in itself, but where did he even get them from in the first place? Was it some kind of ancient storage technique lost to time?

While Satoru was busy thinking, Yuji started speaking.

"Well, one of the first things he did against that cursed spirit was slow down time—"

"PFFTT!"

He choked on his spit and started coughing harshly. Yuji took a step forward to try and help, but he put a hand out and got himself under control.

"S-sorry, I think I misheard ya, what'd you say?" He questioned his student who seemed even more hesitant now, but relented after Satoru refused to budge. He explained the entire fight with the cursed spirit from beginning to end and it was certainly…something.

Time manipulation? There were absolutely no mentions of Sukuna possessing any such technique in the scrolls he'd gone over.

What could this mean?

He was silent for a few moments before the answer struck him.

'Wait a second,' his frown transformed into a joyful smile in an instant.

'If that power isn't Sukuna's, then it can only belong to—!'

"YUJI!" he shouted, startling his pupil who had finally managed to steel himself and speak about Megumi's fight.

"Y-yes?" The teen took a step back to try and make some distance. A futile effort, as Satoru reached out and gripped his shoulders faster than he could react.

"I was wrong."

"Eh?" Yuji blinked a few times, clearly confused, and Satoru's smile grew.

"About you not being able to use Jujustu. I was wrong."

The confusion in his eyes transformed into shock, then excitement as he started to catch on. "Wait, are you saying..?" Satoru nodded rapidly, matching Yuji's growing excitement with his own.

What an incredible cursed technique!

He sure knew how to pick his students—unlike Utahime.

"Yes. Jujutsu sorcerers can only ever have one cursed technique, that's a fact. And if that's the case, then the power to slow down time isn't Sukuna's, but rather, it's…" he trailed off, leaving the conclusion for Yuji.

He didn't disappoint.

"Mine." Yuji whispered, a smile growing on his face that mirrored Satoru's.

"It's my cursed technique. I-I have a cursed technique…I HAVE A CURSED TECHNIQUE!!!" He hugged Gojo hard enough that his bones creaked in protest and started jumping up and down, repeating the same words over and over.

Satoru allowed it to continue for a few seconds, laughing along merrily, before patting his student on his back to release him. He did so, still giddy from the revelation of possessing such an extraordinary power.

"Yep, ya sure do! I didn't see it at first so I assumed you didn't have one, but good ol' Sukuna cleared that up for us. Such a nice guy."

Overcome with excitement, Yuji didn't even register his sensei's words. Instead, he immediately began trying to activate his technique.

He flipped through handsigns, made faces, flexed his muscles, and nothing happened.

"Now, now, that's not how you–"

Not finished yet, Yuji threw his hands up and screamed out, "ZA WARUDO!"

Again, nothing happened.

"As I was saying, that isn't how you–"

Still not done, this time Yuji crossed his arms in front of him into an X formation and tried powering up.

Then he started screaming.

'Aright, that's enough.'

Before he could go for a fourth attempt, Gojo teleported over and smacked the boy upside his head, breaking his concentration.

"OW! What was that for? I almost had it that time!"

His eyebrow twitched. "No, you didn't. You weren't listening either." He crossed his arms, doing his best to appear stern.

"Are you ready to pay attention and learn now, dear student of mine, or do you need another smacking?" He raised his right hand, waving it back and forth as Yuji nodded, rubbing the back of his head with the expression of a kicked puppy.

"Like I was trying to say, that's not how you use a cursed technique. The reason I didn't see it before, and still don't, is because you haven't awakened it yet. Once you do, the knowledge of how to use your technique will appear in your mind."

The first year looked at him for a few seconds, processed the information, then slowly raised his hand.

"Yes?"

"What do you mean you didn't see my technique? Is that possible? And even if it is, your eyes are covered…?" he trailed off as Gojo smirked, raising a hand to remove his blindfold.

"Why don't I tell you a little bit about your awesome sensei?"

'Don't worry kid, you just need a bit of a push to awaken both yours and sukuna's techniques. It'll take a while, but sorcerers learn best under pressure. Luckily for you, I know just how to get you started.'

Many days later…

Mahito POV

Jujutsu sorcerers, Mahito was starting to realize, really were an interesting bunch.

'Emotional, too' he thought, battling with Sukuna's vessel as he raged over Junpei's death.

The 7:3 sorcerer may have been able to fool most with his stoic act, but not him. The wavering of his soul when faced with transfigured humans was a dead giveaway to his internal turmoil.

Itadori Yuji, on the other hand, was the complete opposite.

He wore his heart on his sleeve.

He didn't try to hide behind a mask of professionalism like the grade 1 sorcerer had.

No.

He wanted to kill Mahito plain and simple. Wanted to beat him to death with his bare hands. Not because it was the job of a sorcerer or his duty, but because he had hurt his friend.

How fun!

How new!

He'd even gone begging to Sukuna for help, a desperate plea to try and save Junpei's life, only to receive silence in return.

Sukuna hadn't even bothered responding.

'Guess he felt it was beneath him. Makes sense.'

With the warnings Geto had given him in mind, Mahito had an idea of just how prideful Sukuna could be. He also knew that despite being human, Sukuna may have been more of a curse than himself, Jogo, or any of their bunch were.

He was known as the King of Curses, after all.

Even so, Mahito had his own plans.

'If he won't show up, then I'll just have to bring him out myself!'

With Itadori impaled and trapped on his spikes, Mahito sighed as he placed a hand on the struggling sorcerer's stomach.

"Get it through your head, you can't beat me. Just hurry up and switch with Sukuna already, would ya?" He searched for his target's soul, intending to draw him out with idle transfiguration.

Once he brushed against it and activated his technique, Mahito felt himself be metaphysically yanked forward. A chilling sensation washed over him and suddenly, he was somewhere else.

A garden, it looked like. A nice one too. One he imagined. Hanami would appreciate going by its tasteful array of plants and flowers. He looked around and noticed a pile of apples lying on the ground a few meters to his right.

'Wait' he paused, squinting at the fruits.

'What's with those colors? And…are they…shining?'

Before he could walk over and check them out, a voice stopped him in his tracks.

"Oh, what's this?" He heard someone speak from above him. "A fledgling curse dares touch my soul?"

Mahito looked up and froze, eyes widening.

Hovering cross legged in the air with his eyes closed was Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses.

Only, he looked…off.

Different from what Geto had described seeing at the detention center.

He was shirtless and wearing a pair of white pants secured by a cloth belt, but that wasn't what threw him off.

No.

It was his body.

His skin was a deep, dark red. His muscles were large and sharply defined, and there were veins protruding angrily all over his body. The weirdest thing, however, was how utterly calm his face was. It felt almost paradoxical in comparison to his bulging physique.

Spoiler: Ignore the gym lol.

Before Mahito could open his mouth to speak, he felt a hand clamp onto his right shoulder hard, and suddenly, he was moving. The world blurred for a moment and when everything came to a stop, he found himself somewhere completely different.

'What speed!' He hadn't been able to see anything. Not the change in scenery, not sukuna's movements, nothing.

The speed was unreal.

'Is he actually faster than Jogo? With barely any fingers?!'

What kind of monster were they dealing with?

The new surroundings quickly caught his attention and his previous train of thought ground to a halt.

It was beautiful.

'Now this is what I'd expect the King of Curses innate domain to look like.'

The skulls were a nice touch.

Sukuna still kept that iron clad grip on his shoulder and his eyes remained closed. Unlike the serene look he had earlier though, he now seemed to be focusing on something.

'Reading itadori's memories I'm guessing? But why would he need to do that in the first place? Shouldn't he be aware of what's going on at all times since they're connected? Was that place not his domain? Is this his domain?...Did he have two domains? Was that even possible???'

Mahito had many questions, but it appeared they would go unanswered as Sukuna spoke up after a few seconds, breaking the tense silence.

"I see, so that's what's going on."

The eyes of the strongest sorcerer in history slowly opened and Mahito was stunned to see pitch black orbs with blood red pupils stare straight into his soul.

"I'll spare you just this once on account of you making the brat suffer so exquisitely, but don't ever try this again." The pressure on his shoulder slightly increased, yet it was enough to send him crashing to his knees, helpless.

That demonic gaze never left him.

He felt small.

"Know your place, fool."

With those words, Mahito was freed from that overwhelming presence and thrust back into reality. With hardly a moment to recover, he was welcomed with a headbut from his opponent.

Their fight was on once more.

Ryomen Sukuna POV

[Feat achieved! Humble Mahito! +1 Bronze familiar ticket]

[Challenge complete! Kill Beowolf Pack! +1 Bronze choice ticket]

[Feat achieved! Shatter Mahito's domain with a flick of your wrist! +1 Silver random ticket]

'Hmph, serves that upstart right,' Sukuna thought, having returned to his dimension to continue his training after that disturbance.

Honestly, the gall of some newborn to dare offend his person in such a way…his pride demanded he respond.

'It all seems to be over now though. I'm just about finished as well.'

He uncrossed his legs and floated to the ground, deactivating stage 3 of the possessing spirit skill with a long exhale. His muscles shrank and his skin tone reverted to normal by the time he touched down.

The pack of mongrels weren't even worth mentioning. Outside of their rabid behavior on account of sensing his cursed energy, they were unremarkable. Grade 2 curses at best. A net of dismantles was all he needed to wipe them out and complete his "challenge".

Disappointing.

'If this keeps up, I'll have to take another look at those curses sooner than expected.' After he cured the disease, that is.

Stretching out his sore muscles and a few kinks that had formed during his meditation, Sukuna took the time to observe his surroundings and the clear blue sky.

He had gained quite the appreciation for this place over the past few days once it recovered from his duel with the brute. Not only did it provide refuge for him from being forced to be aware of the brats every waking moment—a fate he'd considered his own personal hell—but with the gate always open and leading straight to his innate domain, he was able to get a vague sense of what the brat was doing through it.

Nothing like if he were to return to his domain, but enough that he could feel his vessels emotions if they were intense enough, as well as his use of cursed energy during battle.

Because of this, he was able to spend a majority of his time here and only returned to his domain in order to gain information on what the brat had been up to during his absence.

Boring, but necessary work.

'The shower doesn't hurt much either.'

While he didn't have a true body in his current state, he could still experience things as if he did.

The dojo was a large single story building. The main room was a dedicated practice area and thus, the largest, with a tatami style floor and a few practice dummies. The other rooms included two separate locker areas for men and women complete with bathrooms, showers, and all the other associated amenities, as well as a storage area where all the equipment and uniforms were kept. The final room was a lounging area filled with cabinets, a sink, a table with a few chairs, and a medium sized couch.

Curiously enough, there were even a few uniforms that seemed to be made for his original body judging by their much larger size and four armholes.

'But enough of that for now.'

It was time to roll his tickets and gain more power.

Possessing spirit was better than anticipated and he was interested to see what else he could acquire. The drawbacks of the skill were for gifted yet mundane humans, it seemed. Not sorcerers, and certainly not someone of his caliber.

The first level boosted his physical ability by about 50% with no issues. Not much, but he hadn't expected anything grand just yet.

The second level, what he had used against the brute, was a two times multiplier. Once more, there were no downsides.

The third and final level, however, was where the skill started to show its worth with a five times increase to his overall physical performance. The only issues he'd experienced during his early experimentation were damage to his blood vessels and internal organs after extended use as the skill described.

Nothing a quick application of RCT wasn't able to deal with.

Sukuna had spent a majority of his training over the past few days on refining the technique's deficiencies and getting it to work in perfect unity with his cursed energy reinforcement, his technique usage, and his output.

He'd made acceptable progress so far and estimated that not too long from now, he would be able to keep stage 3 going together with reinforcement for as long as he wanted with hardly any need for RCT and no loss to his techniques efficiency or output.

The orchard ability had proven its worth as well.

Aside from it granting him a way to fulfill his greatest pleasure, the properties of the fruit he was able to make with his unique talents was the real prize.

Finished stretching, he walked a few paces over to his right and bent down to pick up the Pitcher of Eternal Water with his left hand. With his right, he reached over and grabbed one of the many apples he'd made and bit into it. He hummed as the golden fruit washed away any lingering soreness in his muscles and reduced his fatigue.

The ticket he'd received from making them was a nice surprise as well.

[Healing golden apple: An apple with skin resembling gold that has been created with positive energy. Eating one heals minor injuries instantly, major ones overtime, and partially restores stamina, vitality, and vigour. Does not regenerate cursed energy. Healing and recovery increase the more apples eaten.]

[Feat achieved! Near perfectly recreate an item in the chaos gacha! +1 silver random ticket]

[Floating green apple: An apple enchanted with the floating ability. Grants whoever consumes it the power to levitate a few feet off the ground for 1 hour.]

[Feat achieved! Combine two abilities! +1 bronze random ticket]

Swallowing his snack, Sukuna took a few swigs from the pitcher and mentally rolled the bronze choice ticket first, selecting the ability category.

[Piercing Eyes]

Uncommon Ability

Your eyes can see far and see through objects, and you can adjust the level perfectly according to your needs.

Another eye ability? How peculiar. While not much compared to its predecessor, he was already envisioning ways in which it would be useful.

Next, he moved onto the random bronze

Besides, he wasn't done just yet.

[Greater Throw]

Rare Ability

Allows you to imbue additional speed into any object you throw proportional to the amount of energy/mana you expend. You can throw a rock and launch it at Mach speeds with enough energy.

And

[Sexual Calibration]

Uncommon Trait

All of the minor inconveniences sex once had are now gone. Forget about STDs, hygiene precautions, or unwanted pregnancies because you can adjust how all of those interact with you. In addition, you are very talented in the tantric arts.

"...hmm."

At least the first roll had actual combat applications.

How fast could he, with his unparalleled cursed energy reserves and increasingly unmatched physicality, throw an object? How far? How much damage would it cause? He was eager to find out.

The second roll, however, was different.

The sexual calibration trait brought him back to his youth. It was a time where he was much more interested in the pursuit of carnal pleasure. After a while though, the constant screaming, crying, and begging began to grate on his nerves.

Eventually, he mostly outgrew the desire and chose to focus on gaining enjoyment through eating and fighting primarily. He would still indulge in the pleasures of flesh whenever the whim struck him, it simply became rarer as time went on.

One of the better decisions of his life, no doubt.

It also reminded him of a rather unpleasant revelation he'd come across some time ago.

A single word in its description had jogged his memory.

Pregnancies.

He had chosen to sift through the brat's earliest memories after discovering an oddity.

There was an extra finger within him.

One that Sukuna knew the brat hadn't consumed.

Curiosity roused, he went searching for answers.

What he found was, put plainly, gross.

"Hmmm, so they all have my hair color?"

Intriguing. The soul and appearance of the brats grandfather even resembled his own quite a bit.

A descendant, or something else?

'But what's the deal with the mother?' The old man almost seemed afraid of her. He was about to get his answer as she entered the room.

"Now then, what does she–"

'Wait. That scar!'

His eyes widened as realization struck him. Slowly, he closed them and sighed, dragging a hand down his face.

"...fucking Kenjaku."

'What a freak,' he huffed.

For the brat to end up a cage rather than a proper vessel as well…that brain had better have answers. Otherwise, no binding vow would save him.

Regardless, something about the trait was bugging him. Ever since he'd read it and remembered how the brat was created, an odd feeling overcame him. Sukuna knew what the sensation was.

His intuition was trying to tell him something.

It was like he was on the cusp of some greater enlightenment. As though the solution to one of his greatest problems was standing right in front of him, just begging to be noticed.

He read the trait several more times and organized his thoughts.

Pregnancies.

Calibration.

Children.

Creation.

Vessel.

Precaution.

Descendants.

Enjoyment.

It took some time but inevitably, it came to him.

He asked the system the first of his two questions. If his assumptions were correct, the sexual calibration trait may end up being one of his most important rolls yet.

Perhaps the most.

"System, what are the chances any offspring I have will inherit what I've gotten from the chaos gacha?"

[Processing…]

[…]

If they could, then even as his strength continued to grow, he might one day have worthy opponents to look forward to. Adversaries whom he wouldn't need to severely limit himself against like he had with the familiars.

He'd already had to restrain himself for a majority of his life to not end most fights in the first few exchanges. With what he'd already received from the gacha, that problem grew worse by the day.

But this could change everything.

He just needed to know if—

[Answer determined!]

[The user's children are able to inherit a random selection of traits and abilities. Abilities equipped during intercourse can influence which ones are passed down. Potential synergy between the user's abilities and his partners may even result in the child inheriting a combined or evolved ability.]

The answer left him grinning.

'Good. Now to tie it all together.'

"Would the children I sire while possessing a vessel like this one genetically be my own or not?"

If not, it would be best to hold off until he assumed his true form. Them belonging to the brat would ensure they end up disappointments.

Fushiguro Megumi wasn't looking too bad on the other hand.

But, well….

He wasn't him.

[Processing…]

[…]

[…]

[Answer determined!]

[All children born while possessing another will not be the users genetically, though they will still be able to inherit abilities and traits.]

A shame.

It would appear he'd have to wait then.

No matter. He'd already waited a thousand years to have his fun, a decade or two more were nothing in comparison. After all, what greater opponents could he hope for than those born of his own blood?

While the women of this era were rather mediocre from what he'd gathered, a few of them were bound to have interesting cursed techniques or a unique talent in some field like the healer. The culling games would surely provide him with an ample selection to choose from as well.

Already thinking of the battles to come in the far future, Sukuna made his way to shower and relax.

Things were looking up.

Time flew by and months passed.

During this period, Sukuna continued to grow in mastery over his techniques, both new and old, as he waited patiently for his next chance at freedom.

Eventually, it came.

On October 31st at approximately 10:30 PM, Ryomen Sukuna was unleashed in Shibuya.

It was a night that would shake the world.

To be continued…

Have an omake. I wanted to include it in the chapter but it broke up the tone and flow a bit too much.

OMAKE

"Right." Yuji nodded, hand on his chin. "I don't get it."

"Ok," Saotru hummed, "let's see how I can break this down."

He must have been an excellent teacher—take that, Utahime!—with how quickly Yuji grasped his explanation.

"ACHOOO!' *sniff *sniff

"Are you okay, Utahime-sensei?"

"I'm fine, Miwa. Thank you for asking. Just have the urge to smack an idiot for some reason…" she mumbled to herself.

"What was that?"

"Nothing! Continue with your training everyone. We all want to emerge victorious this year, right?!"

"RIGHT!"

"Yes."

"Sure."

"Whatever."

"INDEED! 100 MORE PUSHUPS FOR TAKADA-CHAAAAN!"

'...roll with it, Utahime. Roll with it.'

A few minutes later...

Satoru nodded rapidly, matching Yuji's excitement with his own.

What an incredible cursed technique!

He sure knew how to pick his students—unlike Utahime.

"HAAACHOOO!"

"Sensei, are you sure you're not catching something?' Miwa asked again, this time, everyone paused and looked at her.

"Sniff sniff, ugh, maybe I am. I'll excuse myself, I expect you all to keep up your training while I'm away, got it?."

As she left, ignoring the grumbling of a few students behind her, Utahime couldn't help but notice her urge to smack an idiot had returned stronger than before.

And this time the idiot had a name.

'I have a feeling this is your fault Gojo Satoru.' She clenched a fist. 'Just wait till I see your smug face. Kyoto will totally win this year!'

She spent the next ten minutes fantasizing about bypassing his infinity and strangling the disrespectful little shit.

OMAKE END

AN: Longest chapter yet. I damn near screamed out loud and fist pumped when he rolled sexual calibration. It's going to make things so much easier. For me and for Sukuna. The "having kids to fight" thing was something I planned a while back, even before the challenge system became a thing or I decided to expand the story and make it a crossover down the line.

He was supposed to come to that realization later but the roll made it happen now. He's aiming to pull a thragg but instead of using them as soldiers, he wants to fight them himself. Might just backfire. In more ways than one…

Potential future sukuna: Huh, this is a new feeling….pride in someone else.

Almost went with the whole soul overpowering the body thing from toji's resurrection to let him have the kids be his genetically even if he wasn't in his true form but ultimately chose not to. He wouldn't have been able to do it to yuji, but megumi? Light work. Felt too lenient and convenient though so I went with this interpretation instead. Baby making will be reserved for true form only.

Feline friend could make for some funny scenes. Feel free to make some of your own if you'd like. Omakes and ideas are welcome.

On another note, I'm so sorry Yuji! Feels bad leading him on like this. Not saying he can't awaken slow down or any other abilities in the future. Whether he actually lives long enough to do so is an entirely different discussion.

Didn't really think there was a point in covering the kyoto and death painting arcs. Nothing else will have changed too much during that time since Sukuna is still locked up so we're jumping straight to shibuya.

MORBKUNA: ITS FARMING TIME!!!

Please let me know what you think in the comments below! All ideas, theories, suggestions, and criticims are welcome! Let me know what you guys think about the potential world hopping, the kids, potential partners, everything! I already know who he's targeting but I wanna see what you all think!

AN: I'm back! Season 3's finale got me motivated. The final fight was great. I'll say now that Uro was supposed to be the Yandere but I've changed my mind. Her character was more interesting than I remembered from the manga, specifically her desire to be someone and not just a nameless tool. Sukuna's gonna have fun with that…

Also, I updated the profile pic for the story. They did Sukuna's true form justice.

Previous chapter

Eventually, it came. On October 31st at approximately 10:30 PM, Ryomen Sukuna was unleashed in Shibuya.

It was a night that would shake the world.

Ryomen Sukuna POV

In the months following the brats tussle with the human-like curse, Sukuna spent nearly all of his time training within the dojo dimension.

His technique, his abilities, his skill with the Holy Moonlight Sword. Not a single field was left neglected. Even Shrine had seen improvements, courtesy of the "knowledge" within the brats head. His physical capabilities had grown alongside his jujutsu and martial prowess as well.

As a result, Possessing Spirit had been perfected.

There were no longer any drawbacks to using it even at its highest level.
