Vihaan is already sitting on the chair. Waiting. Kanak stops in front of him With fear.
He looks at her once and says,
"From now on, you won't leave this house without my permission."
Kanak stays silent.
"Not a step," he says again. "You tried once. That's enough."
Silence fills the room.
"This is your place now," Vihaan adds.
"And this time… you don't decide anything on your own."
Kanak just stands there. Quiet. And everything between them feels heavier than before.
Kanak stands there for a few seconds. She doesn't say anything.Her leg is still hurting. Blood is still coming slowly.
Vihaan notices it. But he doesn't react.
"Go and clean yourself," he says.
Kanak nods slightly and turns. She starts walking towards the stairs. Slowly. Limping.
Halfway… she loses balance for a second. She holds the railing and manages to stand.
Vihaan's eyes follow her. But he still doesn't move.
Kanak goes upstairs.
