Stefany opened her eyes, waking up feeling exhausted.
It has been a week since she's discharged from hospital.
That dream shooked her and still lingered in her mind, that she becomes afraid to leave the house.
She has been staying in Madam G's room the whole week, there is no way the madam will let her be left alone again. The doctor gave some medication during her recovery, to help her nerves calm down, so Stefany sleeps a lot due to the medication.
"It's me Josh, you're safe"
She remembers Josh said that while hugging her that night. And somehow it warmed her back then. I am safe.It's comfortable, and warm, and . . WAIT, what am i thinking?
Stefany was stepping down the stairs when she heard the maid greeted Josh. He's here. Her heart pounded a bit, but she tried to calm her self down. He is my brother, that's brothers' love. Don't be silly Stefany. You are lucky enough to experience that. Many girls would kill for that.
"Please suit yourself master Josh, Madam G is still in the garden, I'll let her know that you come early", the maid turned her head to the woman beside Josh, she is beautiful, but somehow the maid didn't like that woman.
Who is she? I never saw her here before. Stefany sees the woman seating beside Josh.
"Josh. . hi. ." Stefany almost whispered when Josh spotted her,
It seemed Stefany is still uncomfortable seeing new people. She looks a little panicked, passing them going to the kitchen, while bowing her head so the woman can't see her face.
"Are you okay?" Josh' voice surprised Stefany from her zoning out.
"I'm. . I'm okay" It's been a week since Josh saw her. "You look uncomfortable, have breakfast then take your medicine" Josh took the plate on her hands that she gripped to life and put it on the table.
"O.. okay" Stefany took a seat in the dining room.
"Good morning baby girl, how was your sleep?" Madam G hugged her and gave a forehead kiss on Stefany. Just silent. "You look exhausted".
"I'm okay aunty G, just a bit tired", Madam G took a seat next to her.
"And You, what are you doing here early morning?"
"it's 11 mother" Josh sighed. "Yes, and that's early for us. Me and Stefany" These two women.
"I came home after breakfast to take something and will go to the office again after this, So I thought I could introduce you to...." Josh sentences stopped because he spotted his mom looking at the dining room entrance with her brow raising. Josh turned his head and spotted Jane there entering the dining room.
"Josh, anything you want to explain?" Madam G smiled, but Josh knows that's not pure smile. He knows the mistake. Jane coming in to the dining room without any instruction. He remembers telling her to wait at the living room.
"Mom, this is Jane" Jane walked closely to the table with a smile, of course.
"Hi aunty G, I'm Jane, we finally meet" She offers to shake madam G's hand.
"Hi, welcome Jane. I'm sorry my hands are still dirty, take a seat"
"Ah ya, no worries aunty, thank you for having me"
"All good. Would you mind just calling me madam G please? I'm not used to anyone calling me aunty, It makes me feel old" Madam G chuckles.
Stefany finishes her food and excuse herself to go back upstairs. Jane fixed her sight on her.
It can't be her. It can't be Lelysia.
