Don't let anything happen to her oh God, I must have not leave her alone. Madam G runs towards the hospital room. It was a frightening 2 hours drive back from the other city.
"Mom" Josh saw her mother opening the ward door. She doesn't even look at him, just straight going to Stefany who is lying, still unconscious on the hospital bed.
"Doctor, is she alright?" Madam G asked the doctor. Tears drop off her eyes.
"She is stable now, Madam. We'll monitor her progress closely. I'll take my leave then"
"I should not have left you alone, I'm sorry sweet girl, you'll be alright" Madam G hugged her softly.
Josh was a bit confused. What exactly happened? What is it that makes his mother this fond of her?
He even asked a private investigator to dig information about her, but NOTHING. There is NO Stefany Sisilia. He stood there recalling his call with the mother this dawn.
"Mother, what is it? It's 2" Josh woke up to his mother's call.
It was heavy raining outside, and heavy thunder, and lighting.
"How is it there? Is the rain heavy? is thunder or lighting heavy?" Madam G sounds a bit worry.
"It is. Aren't you home? Where are you?"
"No, I am in my friends' house. I couldn't make it home since the weather isn't friendly tonight. Can you check on Stefany, please?"
"She's an adult mom. Thunder, and the electricity is off. I'll check tomm..."
"NO! that's the more reason you have to check on her! " Madam G started being panicked.
"What's wrong?"
"Josh, NOW, GO! Check on her, PLEASE. I'm coming home now ".
Josh woke up and as usual, with his cold face walked to the next building, crossing the pool. A security spotted him but he asked him to just stay at his station.
Josh found her room on the second floor. He knocked on the door. The heavy raining make things sound blurry.
"Don't touch me! No. . . Noo . . Pleaseee. . Don't" What was that? is Stefany screaming?
Josh put his ears closer to the door and knocked one more time.
"Let me go, don't do this to me!" It's her voice. Is someone inside?
Josh didn't wait and open the door, finding her shaking, crying in her sleep, as someone is chasing her. He didn't think twice, he came closer and tried to wake her up.
"Stefany" Josh called her.
"Please let me go, don't hurt me!" Her body shaking in fear.
"Stefany, wake up, calm down!" Josh was a bit shocked, trying to process the situation.
"Don't touch me! please. You shouldn't do this to me!" She fights back.
"Stefany, stop, it's me, wake up, open your eyes, you're dreaming" Josh shaked her body a little bit. She is covered in cold sweat, her face is really pale.
Stefany jolted awake, but fear overwhelmed her. She saw the person beside her and unconsciously shouted, "Please don't do this to me." Josh was confused.
She got up and immediately ran, in the darkness, not knowing where to go, just running, looking for the nearest door. Josh realized something is wrong, he followed her immediately. She runs outside of the house frantically, in random direction to the garden. Security officers spotted them, confused and immediately looking for umbrellas before following their masters behind.
Josh catched her hands, and bring her facing him, she is shaking, then fell down on the grass.
"Stefany, it's Josh, calm down" Stefany screamed in fear with her eyes closed.
"Stefany it's me" Josh hugged her tightly, preventing her from fighting.
"No pleaseee . ." She cried in pain.
"You're safe. You're home. Open your eyes, It's me Josh"
"Josh.." She doesn't believe it's Josh.
"Mmm, it's me"
"Josh. . Is it you?" Her body still shaking while Josh still hugged her.
"It's me, you're safe". Stefany slowly opens her eyes, her body keeps shaking but started to calm down a bit. She saw him, Josh, there. They are covered in rain, at the garden, with thunder still striking.
"Josh, am I safe? where is that person? the one chasing me?" She poked around while shaking in cold.
"Whoever it was, he is not here. You were dreaming, you're safe"
Stefany tried to get up and stand on her feet while crying. Josh helped her to get up, only for her to fall again, passing out.
"Security, hospital, NOW!"
