Day: 2
Location: Kirishima High - 3rd Floor - Hallway to Faculty Room
Time: 8:21 A.M

The two has finally arrived on the location that they needed to reach. Problem is, it seems that they are not the first one who have reached the area.
From the looks of it, a few students have tried to ask for the teachers on the faculty for help, but got there too late as the zombies have already bitten the teachers there, or perhaps a teacher have turned into one of the zombies, causing the infection to spread and infect the other teachers which in turn caused them to join the ranks of the dead. When the poor students arrived, they were devoured and torn to bits by the newly turned zombie teachers, which added more of them to their numbers.
"Should we deal with them as soon as possible?" Souichi frowned. Even though he has killed a few zombies on the way, the number of zombies around the faculty is a little bit too much. He knows that Kyosei is fine dealing with the horde but that doesn't mean he shares the sentiments at all.
"Are you getting cold feet now, Four Eyes?" Kyosei glances at Souichi who seems to be having second thoughts.
"You can't blame me, Kyosei! That's a lot of buggers that are scrambling around the faculty! I may have been a black belt holder for Taekwondo but that isn't much in the face of zombies!"
"If you are indeed that scared to go there, then go back to the Watchtower and help watch and defend the others. It is much more fatal to fight with someone who is unwilling to go and fight compared to when I fight alone. At least, if I go and fight alone, I know I am not going to be looking out for someone else's safety."
Souichi clenches his fist. Kyosei is right. There is no need for him to be there. In fact, he will be just a big burden for him during a fight. Kyosei's body is quite nimble to the point that he can defeat multiple zombies in a regular maneuver. His abilities to fight with the intention to kill...is something that he is still struggling a bit.
"Alright, if you are now done moping there and watch my back. I will clear the way. It would be hard for both of us to fight in a tight hallway towards the faculty room."
Kyosei readies the crowbar as he heads first. Souichi can only sigh but he didn't protest. It's indeed much better for him to juat follow along and help only when necessary.
The zombies has yet to notice their presence. Even now, they are still banging the closed door of the faculty. Kyosei counted at least 7 zombies so far but he can tell there might be more inside the faculty room as he can see some silhouettes moving inside. He doubts humans are still inside but who knows?
Kyosei dropped his stealth act and started walking normally towards the group. Obviously, the zombies turned to his direction and started shambling at him with their hands in front.
Without hesitation, Kyosei swings his crowbar to the nearest zombie and half of the zombie's head disappeared. Where else the missing part go is obvious as blood and brain matter spread to the walls.
"Disgusting as always. Zombies heads are so fragile," Kyosei mumbled as he goes to the other zombie and used the crowbar's bent claw to rip apart a zombie's head from its body before slamming it to the floor and viciously stomping on it.
If seen from an outsider's perspective, Kyosei literally doing the extreme violence makes it look like Kyosei is so strong to the point that he can casually just rip them apart. But in truth, the zombies are just too brittle. They are strong, sure. But their heads are too fragile that perhaps a light bump to the wall is enough to shake and crack their skulls to pieces.
Kyosei continues to brutalize the other zombies attacking. Although the enemies are more in the advantage in numbers, the lone guy dealing with them doesn't have much problema eliminating them. A swing of his weapon and one of them falls down with a broken skull.
After around 3 minutes worth of struggle. Kyosei crushes the remaining skull of the zombie still writhing on the floor and turns to the faculty room's door. The door is slightly ajar and he can feel movement inside.
"More zombies," Kyosei's eyebrows furrowed as he slowly pull the door open. Whatever is behind the door, he didn't want them to notice him immediately.
As soon as the door slightly opened, a zombie leaps out of the door which promptly make Kyosei jump out of the way. Since the zombie suddenly leap outside, as soon as it jump outside the door, it crashes straight to the open window adjacent to the door, falling down to its death.
Kyosei made sure there are no more similar zombies heading out of the door before he head inside crouching.
The faculty room is a mess. Tables, chairs and even books and laptops are currently hurled everywhere. And what makes the scenert worse is the blood splatter that decorates the areas around the room. The smell of the room stench heavily in blood meaning the violence that happened there just recently happened.
Kyosei counted the zombies walking around. He counted at least three of them, two of them are teachers while the other is a student. From the looks of it, the student is the one who brought in the plague and infected the others.
The other zombie who leaped outside not too long ago might be another teacher but it happened too fast he is not sure and he has no time to care about it.
Kyosei scanned the room and just like what the teachers have said, the keys are indeed hanging in one of the bulletin boards. There are plenty of keys there and he still has no idea what the key for the school bus looks like.
"Guess there is no way for me to sneak through and grab the keys." Kyosei shook his head before he glance at the surroundings.
Although its a messy place, he can stealth his way through the zombies one by one as the three of them are standing apart from one another. Even if he gets discovered by any of them if he tries to eliminate at least one of them, it doesn't matter much as he can dispatch them immediately.
"Good. This could work."
He slowly creep his way through the student zombie as silent as he can be before he smashes the head of the zombie by grabbing its head and using the crowbar to pierce its face directly.
Taking a quick turn, he realized that the zombies did not even notice his silent execution of the zombie. He didn't waste this chance and continue to ride on the momentum to move to the second one.
The teacher is a petite woman. He remembers this teacher as one of the teachers that students considers as their crush and seems to have a fanclub as well due to her kind behavior and pretty looks.
Compared to when she was a human, her form as a zombie stripped away all of what makes her pretty. Her face has been torn apart, her flawless skin has been scratched and ripped, revealing the muscle mass and flesh, and one of her massive chest is visibly missing after it was ripped apart. What a brutal way to go. And yet, here she is, standing and now one of the dead.
What makes her a little bit weird is how she seemed to be half undressed. Her uniform seems to be removed as only one of her hands is currently still wearing the sleeve. On the other hand, her bra seems to be also unlocked which made Kyosei notice immediately her missing chest. Despite this, Kyosei does not feel anything at all. She might be half naked but this one is still a corpse and now a walking lump of flesh.
Kyosei did his work and quickly dispose of her by grabbing her long hair and dragging her before he stabs her face with the crowbar's chisel.
He made sure to make a little bit of ruckus so that the other zombie will also notice him.
As for this other zombie, it seems that this guy is the math teacher that many girls considers as a heartrob teacher due to his looks. If the other female teacher is the idol of boys, this male teacher is the idol of the girls.
Considering that both of the teachers are here means that they might have decided to hide here together or they are doing something else. Considering that the other teacher is in a half naked state, Kyosei can guess what happened before they get attacked. Guess they decided to fulfill their desires before they go out, but unfortunately, it seems the deed was not fully done.
Without waiting for the male teacher zombie to finish shambling towards him, Kyosei approaches himself with a hard swing, destroys the zombie's head. The blood splatters through the wall.
Now that all of the zombies are gone, Kyosei scanned the room one more time and ensures there are no more hiding zombies or zombies who are crawling. Call him paranoid or what but he is just making sure.
Once the coast is clear, he calls Souichi who quickly approaches.
"No zombies came thankfully," Souichi reported.
"Good to know. I don't know if I made too much ruckus not too long ago. Let's see how this goes this time around. Alright, let's find the key as soon as possible and lets get out of here."
The two immediately started looking for the key. There are dozens of keys there and although a few of them are labeled, not all of them are. Some of them seems to be the car keys of some of the teachers there while some are just the set of keys that one of the teachers are using.
"I think I found Mrs. Haruna's key. Look, it got a keychain with her name on it!" Souichi shows the key to Kyosei.
"That might not be what we needed right now, but that might help in the future. No harm bringing it along with us. But look for the school bus key as that's what we came here for," Kyosei said without batting an eye on Souichi's discovery.
"Still, there are lots of keys here and most of them are keys for the classroom doors and the teacher's cars. But I don't see anything similar that should work with rhe school bus key," Souichi stashes the key to his pocket and searches for the key as well.
"True. It seems we either came here too late or the key is not here in the first place," Kyosei stops searching and furrowed his brows.
"Do you think the school bus driver still has it?" Souichi also stops looking for the key as well.
"High possibility. After all, he will still use the key to send a few students home as well so it is a high chance."
"Then, should we find the bus driver? I don't even know if we can even find him here now that the school has become a hellscape."
Kyosei shook his head. "Doubt it. We would be wasting too much time on that and there is not even a guarantee that we will be able to get the key from him. Let's head to the cafeteria first and grab the remaining food there before we go back. The food I got yesterday will not be enough for all of us if we don't get more. There should be a few more stuff left there when I left. With you here, we could bring more than I could yesterday."
Souichi nodded. He also sighed in relief that Kyosei is not a madman after all and is still capable of rationale thinking.
"By the way, I think we should also grab the keys that are meant for the cars of the teachers. If we can't use the schoolbus, there is no harm using other cars as transportation to get out of here," Kyosei suggested.
"Hmm, that's true. Yeah, let's do that," Souichi nodded and starts taking the keys hanging on the bulletin board that are from the teachers. They might have more keys than they should have but they can use these keys later on if they needed to get a ride aside from the schoolbus.
