The White Wolf's Prophecy
In the ancient, blood-soaked lives of the Lycan race, one prophecy has stood as both a beacon and a death threat: The arrival of the White Wolf.
For centuries, the pigment of winter was scrubbed from the earth in a Great Purge, leaving the Lycan kingdom a place of iron, fire, and shadows. The people believed the threat had been neutralized, replaced by the Mighty Seven- seven elemental lords of Fire, Wind, Earth, Water, Invisibility, Telekinesis, and Strength, who served the throne with unwavering loyalty.
But fate is a patient hunter.
When Selene emerges from the fringes of the world, her hair the color of starlight and her eyes a piercing blue-violet, the kingdom is thrown into a tectonic shift. She is the embodiment of the White Wolf, carrying a power that can either stitch the fractured race back together or unravel the very fabric of reality.
At the heart of the capital sits King Axe, the Golden Alpha. A man of quiet strength and emerald-eyed intensity, Axe is a ruler who has spent his life trying to be more than just a weapon. When he first encounters Selene, it isn't a conquest; it’s a recognition. In the quiet halls of the palace and the hidden sanctuaries of the gardens, a love story begins to bloom- one defined by tenderness, by the soft giving of gifts, and by the shared hope of a future where Lycans can be more than soldiers.
Axe offers Selene a choice. He offers her a throne built on respect and a partnership rooted in genuine affection.
To the Seven, she becomes the sister they never had.
But the Moon Goddess is a fickle mother, and the laws of the mate-bond are not easily ignored. While Axe represents the future, Nik, the Alpha of the Moonshine Pack, represents the raw, ugly, and primal past. Nik is a man of the "Old Ways," a predator who believes that power is taken, not earned. To him, Selene is not a woman to be loved, but a trophy to be possessed- the ultimate legitimate prize that will crown him as the true Alpha of Alphas.
Where Axe is cedar and smoke, Nik is blood and ice. He represents the sexist, brutal reality of a culture that views women as livestock, and yet, the biological tether of the mate-bond refuses to let her go.
