This was a question that baffled many, with two mainstream thoughts battling each other: Religion with its Manichean division of Heaven and Hell and Science with its nihilistic approach of returning to the Universe as cosmic dust. Turned out Damian Knight, now Demian Mikhailov, discovered that none of those theories were actually true when his previous life’s memories awakened after being knocked out by a gangster’s heavy punch to the head. Now 18 years old with a deficient body, he will have to find a way to navigate this World’s deep waters, where Fighters with transcendent Physical Attributes were merely at the bottom of the power scale. From Intrinsic Superhumans to Elemental Cultivators, a single misstep and death could snatch him again, with everything he built in this new life disappearing as if a mere illusion.
