Omniscient P.O.V.

Wearing a wry smile, he simply decided to admit defeat and enjoy the feeling of her butt through their clothes.

After all, a man had to be aware of his capabilities and stop when needed, especially as, in his case, losing was still a win, just a bit harsh on his self-control, but nothing that could not be overcome.

A painful joy, as they said.

On Liya's side, a smug grin appeared on her face as she noted both of his reactions, his silence, but more importantly, the growing pillar below her lower body, prompting a thought to surface in her mind.

'You still got it, girl! Wait until we're bonded, my dear nephew, and I'll make sure you'll never be able to leave me, bond or not.'

As the saying goes: Arrogance is the worst enemy of the great.

In her case, trying to match the young man's ever-growing stamina was objectively the height of foolishness, though that was thoroughly due to her lacking dual cultivation experience, not understanding the height one could reach in that particular discipline.

Words were merely that: Words.

Only through experiencing it directly would she understand, but it might be too late by then.

While Liya was underestimating the danger she was in, Demian was cursing the situation in his mind, promising himself that he would show her his prowess that night, wiping the arrogant smirk off her face and replacing it with a climaxing one.

Knowing he would not be able to ignore the ridiculously soft feeling of the redhead's large butt resting on his lap, he simply gave up fighting it.

Instead, he tightened his hold on her tender waist and planted a light kiss on the top of her hair before commenting.

"Thank you, Liya, for trusting me."

The happy expression on her face quickly turned to confusion when she heard his words, prompting her to ask.

"Trusting you? What do you mean?"

With his gaze turning slightly absentminded, he explained.

"I mean, about the bond. And our relationship. It's... I know it's different for you girls than for me. After all, I've got another life's worth of memories, so making the plunge with you three is, well, much easier, I'd say. But you three aren't the same. For you, it's literally a marriage between close family members and..."

Before he could continue with his words, the beautiful redhead lying with her back resting on his body suddenly turned around in a surprisingly flexible movement, her two massive mountains now serving as soft, though slightly inconvenient for her, cushions for her upper body.

As soon as she flipped her body around, he felt her index finger on his lips, which, coupled with her serious expression, forced him to stop talking.

Seeing him fall silent, she reproached.

"You're still harping on that?"

In his mind, he thought.

'Isn't that a big deal for most people?'

However, he said nothing out loud, instead letting her continue, seeing her shaking her head slightly, her expression turning pensive.

"Sure, it was strange at first. I mean, I can't exactly see something that for more than forty years I considered abnormal as normal. But then..."

She fell silent for a short while, her eyes filled with a reminiscing look, before she resumed slowly.

"To be honest... To be honest, I could name many reasons to explain why I'm now fine with us being together, and even with me sharing you with my own daughters."

At that moment, her gaze regained focus, her eyes looking into his own as a soft smile appeared on her face.

"These last few months, I've seen how much you've changed from your previous self. You've become confident, but you didn't let it turn into arrogance. Especially with us three, you've been so caring and protective, making us feel safe and loved."

After letting out a few giggles, she added.

"Honestly, you're pretty much our Mr Perfect now, so how am I supposed to resist your charms?"

Shaking his head slightly, he replied hesitantly, his tone not hiding his embarrassment at her compliment.

"I'm not as great as you put it..."

With a knowing smile on her face, she retorted.

"You're just proving my point, darling."

After looking into each other's eyes for a short while, their gazes filled with clear emotions, Liya added.

"But back to your previous question. Aside from your personality, you look almost nothing like your previous self. Yes, if I squint hard, I can still see some of the old Demian in your face, but that's only if I make a real effort. No offence, darling, but you weren't exactly heartthrob material before. But now... Now, you'd probably tempt even the most devout nun."

The two chuckled at the joke, though Demian had to admit that his appearance had really become wildly different.

After the two regained their calm, the young man asked, with curiosity lacing his tone.

"Are those the only reasons?"

With an amused look, her head resting on the back of her two hands, which themselves were resting on his naked torso, her gaze meeting his own as she retorted.

"Aren't those enough already?"

Seeing that she could not convince him, she admitted.

"Fine. If it were only those, it would sound a bit like excuses..."

Pausing for a second, she then resumed with some hesitation.

"Alright, if you have to know, I'd say that the prospect of being able to live forever as long as I become your woman did influence my choice a bit. And not just the living part, but also the with you part. After all, since I get to live forever, I might as well do it with someone I know I can trust completely. Especially since my own daughters' safety and happiness are also on the line."

At that moment, the young man noted a slight hesitation in her gaze as she started avoiding his while she added.

"Also, I've been... Well, let's just say I've been alone for a while now and I'm tired of it. I just want... I just want to have a man I can trust and rely on and not have to wait for some kind of hypothetical prince charming in the future."

Shaking her head with a wry smile on her face, she continued.

"Don't get me wrong, you already check all the boxes for my prince charming's list of criteria, even going above and beyond if I have to be completely honest. So, if the only 'problem' with us being together is that I'm your Aunt and you're my nephew, I... I don't want to care about it. Why should I miss out on my perfect man because other people say it's wrong? After going through so much, can't I just be happy...?"

Years of repressed emotions resurfacing suddenly choked off her voice as her eyes turned misty.

She had been a mother-figure for the three for so long, protecting and caring for them without ever daring to show her fragile side, the one that needed to be cared for, that she had become well and truly exhausted.

It was difficult to say when it started, when she stopped caring about that oh-so-essential side of hers, when she left aside any hope of being cherished, of having a man simply telling her to sit her ass down on the sofa to rest while he would take care of everything.

He would then kiss her, grope her butt playfully, making her snort with fake displeasure.

Then, the two would banter, as he prepared a simple meal, maybe massage her aching shoulders, and, after a bit of flirting during the meal, the two would end up in bed, having an exhilarating love session.

She had been longing for those simple but warm moments for so long, repressing her own desire, that she almost forgot they could actually be fulfilled.

Funny how it took her almost dying multiple times for her nephew to awaken his previous life's memories, have his body completely transform, and her daughter suggesting they all shared him together, all for her to realise how much she had missed that feeling.

It was not just a dream or a mere hope anymore.

No, it was real, and she was about to get it.

She could have that happiness, that man who would care for her, cherish her as if she were the most precious treasure in his life.

She had found him and...

He had found her.

Seeing the tears gathering in her hazelnut-colored eyes, Demian felt a pang in his heart, prompting him to tighten his embrace before moving his head down to give her a gentle kiss on her soft lips.

His action brought her out of her gloomy thoughts, the older woman enjoying his tenderness for a while before he broke the kiss, though the temptation of prolonging it was strong in his heart.

Knowing it was not the right time, he shoved that thought aside, and while gazing into her captivating eyes, he declared firmly.

"You do deserve all of that. Liya, you are... You're a wonderful, extraordinary woman, someone I sometimes feel I don't deserve."

His expression turned into a frown briefly before relaxing as he added, while the woman was listening silently.

"Call it an inferiority complex or whatever you want, but I've always seen myself more as a lucky brat rather than an accomplished man, even with my recent awakening. I get it may sound strange, but if it were with Sera, or even Bryn, I could manage, but with you... I mean, not only have you always been like a mother-figure to me, but I've seen all you've done for us, and everything you're capable of."

Pausing for a second, a wry smile appeared on his face before he continued.

"Am I even worthy of you? Can I make you happy, or will I just fuck it up? That... That's the kind of question that has been going through my mind for a while now. Especially a few days back when you told me you wanted to bond with me. Of course, I'll do my best to make it work, no matter the cost, but... Let's just say fear has a knack for finding its way through the smallest cracks."

With his confession out of the way, he felt a strange lightness in his heart, as if some hidden weight had suddenly been lifted, leaving him much more relaxed.

While his mind was slightly unfocused, he did not realise Liya's movement before he felt a familiar soft sensation on his lips, prompting him to bask in the enjoyable sensation.

It was only a few seconds later that the redhead moved back to her previous position, being the one to break their kiss this time.

Gazing into his eyes with a loving look, she whispered in a soft tone filled with tenderness.

"You're more than worthy. Plus, if even you don't feel worthy, how should I feel? I mean, look at you and look at me, it's obvious who should be feeling inferior, and that's certainly not you."

Hearing her reassuring words, a soft smile graced his lips, though he could not help but tease the woman slightly.

With his gaze falling to the two great soft mountains she constantly carried on her upper body, he replied playfully.

"Well, looking from my end, it's hard to say. I mean, I can already give you at least two reasons that you're wrong."

Moving his hands down to her large buttocks, he then squeezed slightly before adding a teasing smirk painted on his face.

"Make that four. Your body is truly full of treasures."

Feeling speechless for a brief moment, she then rolled her eyes before a proud smile appeared on her face as she retorted while moving her hand downward to gently caress his 'sword' through his tight pair of shorts.

"You're not bad yourself, Mister. Large and long, just the way I like it."

Looking at her amused grin, giving her face an image of playful attractiveness, the young man had to force down his laughter.

'How can she be so cute and sexy at the same time? Well, no matter how prideful and untouchable, women are still humans with all the desires that come with it, and not some strange and incomprehensible alien species, though that last one is debatable.'

Out loud, he replied.

"I can't speak for 'long', but seeing you, Sera and Bryn, 'large' clearly runs in the family."

With a pointed look at her breasts, the woman instantly understood his meaning, prompting her to let out a snort of amusement, shaking her head slightly before saying.

"You're such a pervert..."

Rolling his eyes, he commented.

"Pot calling the kettle black, miss nun."

The two then looked at each other before bursting into laughter for a while, the hilarity washing away most of the emotions each had unknowingly buried in their heart for a long time now.

Words had a way of healing those deep scars one accumulated in their heart.

The laughter lasted for some time before the two regained their calm, each sporting a similar smile on their faces as they both lost themselves in the other's eyes for a while before Demian declared.

"I love you, Adeliya Mikhailov."

With a slight blush and a happy smile, she replied softly.

"I love you, Demian Mikhailov."

As those words resounded in the peaceful garden, the thin barrier erected by themselves in their heart and separating the two finally vanished.

She found him and now...

Now, she could finally rest in his warm embrace.
