In the majestic Kingdom of Ryūgū, a land blessed by the elements themselves, every child was born with the promise of power. From the moment they were toddlers, the people of Ryūgū awakened a mysterious gift known as Elemental Art—the ability to command fire, summon storms, shape earth, or bend water to their will.
These powers were the kingdom’s pride. They were the reason Ryūgū had survived the Great Demon War a thousand years ago, when the world nearly fell to darkness. Legends spoke of mighty Elementalists and the legendary Crowned Dragons who fought against the Demon King and his generals to save the realm.
But among the children of this powerful kingdom… there was one boy who had nothing.
His name was Ryūsei.
While the other children awakened their Elemental Arts before they could even read or write, Ryūsei remained powerless. Days turned into years, and still nothing appeared. No spark of flame, no whisper of wind, not even the smallest ripple of energy.
The whispers began quietly at first.
"Maybe he's just a late bloomer."
But as time passed, the whispers turned colder.
"Maybe… he was never meant to awaken anything."
Some even wondered if he had been forgotten by the elements themselves.
Yet Ryūsei refused to give up. Even without power, he trained harder than anyone else. While others relied on their abilities, he sharpened his body and mind, determined to prove that he still belonged in the kingdom he loved.
But fate had something far greater waiting for him.
One day, when Ryūsei finally awakened his Elemental Art… it did not happen the way anyone expected.
The moment his power emerged, the air itself trembled.
Ancient energy—something far older than the kingdom, older even than the war a thousand years ago—burst forth from within him.
What appeared was not an ordinary Elemental Art.
It was something that had not been seen since the days of legends.
A power tied to the forgotten past…
to the war against the demons…
and perhaps even to the fate of the entire world.
And from that moment on, Ryūsei’s life—and the destiny of the Kingdom of Ryūgū—would never be the same again.
