"Wipe it off."
Chen Mingming brought some tissues over from the living room.
Zhao Le then noticed a bit of blood on his face, smiled apologetically, and began to wipe it off with the tissue.
Chen Mingming glanced at the ribs on the cutting board that had been chopped neatly and casually said, "Your knife skills are good, have you ever thought about becoming a chef?"
Zhao Le chuckled and said, "I'm just okay at it, it's fine for home cooking, but if I really went to a restaurant as a chef, they'd laugh me to death."
Chen Mingming nodded and leaned casually against the fridge door, chatting like classmates, "Have you thought about what you want to do in the future?"
Discussing future paths among students is an entirely usual topic.
Zhao Le hummed in response, looking out the window, seemingly hopeful, "Maybe a lawyer? I'm studying law anyway."
"For justice?" Chen Mingming asked curiously.
