A silver-white spaceship the size of a shuttle hovered over the central platform. Countless instruments and mechanical arms tightly surrounded it. Dozens of Leray scientists and mechanics were busy around the spaceship.
Six hundred meters underground, Chuckna First Military Academy had provided Boswell with a shipyard!
An automatic mechanical arm lifted a console and approached the automatic door. Even though there was still twenty meters to go, Boswell waved at Fatty through the transparent radiation-resistant glass.
"Teacher!" Fatty called respectfully.
"Come up." Boswell stopped in front of Fatty, gestured for Fatty and Milan to stand on the console together, then without a word, pushed the control lever, drifting toward where the spaceship was.
