"What did you just say?"
William's voice turned dangerously low. He stepped forward and leaned down until he was staring directly into Hana's eyes.
"I'm just saying that..." Hana met his gaze without backing down. "I'm not her only enemy."
The warehouse fell silent.
Beto frowned.
Robert's expression darkened.
Meanwhile, William simply stared at her. Then he laughed. A cold one.
"Nice try."
Hana arched an eyebrow, "You think I'm lying?"
"I think you're trying to save yourself." William crossed his arms.
"You've already realized you're not getting out of here, so now you're throwing out nonsense to make yourself valuable."
Hana clicked her tongue.
"I'm just telling you the truth. Since she is not yet human, I believe she will never truly be safe."
A smirk slowly appeared on her face.
"Then how about you?" William asked, his frown deepening. "Aren't you not human either?"
Hana's smile froze for a brief moment before she let out a soft laugh.
