"Should I?"
Thalia's gaze returned to the baby. It remained there for several moments.
She watched her quietly before continuing, "Honestly, I think I should."
Behind the wall outside the corridor, William's fingers tightened slightly.
Meanwhile, Tiara remained silent, allowing her sister to finish.
"I don't remember him." Thalia's voice was calm, "I don't remember loving him. I don't remember choosing him."
She smiled faintly. "From a logical perspective, walking away would probably be the easiest option, right?"
A husband and a marriage she couldn't remember. Anyone would think the same.
For a moment, Tiara thought the conversation would end there.
Then Thalia tilted her head slightly. "But you know, at this moment, when I try to think about actually doing it..."
Her brows slowly furrowed. "A strange feeling appears."
Tiara's expression subtly changed. "What kind of feeling?"
"I don't know." Thalia pressed a hand lightly against her chest. "It just feels uncomfortable."
