Chapter 123 - Volume 1: Chapter 123: Elf: I Want to Go to School

"Hurry up and take your shower." Sora took out his phone.

"I'll message Mahiru."

"Servant absolutely, absolutely must not leave me behind..."

Looking back every three steps, Yamada Elf nervously walked into the bathroom. She didn't close the door tightly, but left a crack, and quickly began to wash up.

"Servant?"

"I'm here."

"Servant, Servant~"

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, just wanted to call you."

"..."

After a while, Yamada Elf extended an invitation again:

"Does Servant want to come in and wash together?"

"Focus on washing yourself." Sora was expressionless.

"The bathroom is the most heavily infested area for cockroaches."

"Ehhhhh, Idiot Servant, don't scare me!"

"..."

She finished washing up.

Fortunately, no accidents occurred during the process.

Yamada Elf, wearing pajamas, walked out of the bathroom dripping wet.

"I've already messaged Mahiru." Sora looked up and said softly.

"Mahiru said you can stay at her house temporarily for the next few days... Go get some a change of clothes and toiletries, and then we can head over."

"My change of clothes is all in the room upstairs." Yamada Elf nervously tilted her small face up.

"Servant, come up with me."

"Alright."

Sora nodded in agreement.

The two arrived at the stairs.

Yamada Elf took a few steps first, then suddenly stopped. She put her hands behind her back to cover her pajamas, her small face blushing slightly, her voice nervous:

"Servant, you go first."

Sora: "..."

For Elf, who liked to play the piano without clothes, not wearing underwear after a shower was perfectly normal.

"I'll go first."

Sora's expression remained calm as he stepped past Yamada Elf and headed upstairs.

"Servant, open the door."

"..."

"Servant, open the wardrobe."

"..."

"Servant, take out all the clothes inside..."

"There's no need to take that many." Sora said speechlessly.

"You're just going over to stay temporarily for a few days, not moving houses. Tomorrow morning I'll go to the convenience store to buy some insect repellent. It won't take long for the cockroaches to vanish."

"Okay then..."

Yamada Elf could only pack a few pieces of underwear and put them in her backpack.

"All done." Yamada Elf quickly put on her backpack and hugged Sora's arm.

"Servant, let's escape."

"..."

The two quickly left the room and returned to the living room.

"Phew..."

Yamada Elf breathed a sigh of relief and counted on her fingers:

"I have enough clothes. Next is toothpaste, a toothbrush, a towel, and other toiletries..."

As she was talking, Yamada Elf suddenly tilted up her small face, her eyes shining brightly:

"Servant, I want to go to school!"

Sora looked over in surprise:

"Did you just say you want to go to school?"

"That's right." Yamada Elf put her hands on her hips, lifting her cute chin.

"School life is an indispensable part of life, so I want to go to school too!"

Sora complained:

"If I remember correctly, someone once said going to school was super boring, as tough to endure as being in prison, right?"

"That was before, I've changed my mind now."

Yamada Elf turned her small face away, stammering, "Being home alone is so boring, and going out to gather material makes me worry about encountering danger... It's totally not because I want to be close with Servant at school!"

Sora: "..."

"Enrolling in school isn't as simple as you think." Sora pondered for a few seconds and said softly.

"To transfer mid-term, first you have to pass an academic exam, and then an interview. You have to pass both to enroll... If I remember correctly, Elf's grades are very average, right?"

"I'm only bad at math. In elementary school, I got a perfect score on every Japanese literature exam." Yamada Elf defended her pride, putting her hands on her hips, her voice crisp.

"Servant doesn't need to worry. I just need to tell my mom, and exams and interviews won't matter at all. I'll definitely be able to enroll easily."

Sora: "I'm sorry, I was being presumptuous."

In a capitalist country, the power of money is the greatest ability.

Although he didn't know exactly how much money Elf's family had, if they could afford a resort island, getting Elf enrolled in school would naturally be a piece of cake.

"Going to school is fine, but don't do it half-heartedly." Sora warned.

"Being late or leaving early is also a no-go."

"Servant, don't worry." Yamada Elf crossed her arms over her chest, lifting her small chin, her voice sweet and pleasant.

"Once I make up my mind to do something, I won't give up halfway."

"That's good." Sora gave a light nod. "Also, let's make an agreement first: you are not allowed to use your abilities recklessly at school."

"Rest assured." Yamada Elf's voice was crisp as she readily agreed.

"I definitely won't turn invisible in front of others!"

"..."

There's no need to say much about what happened next.

Elf packed her toiletries, while Sora checked the doors, windows, water, and electricity. After ensuring there were no oversights, he turned off the lights and left the house with Yamada Elf.

The night was deep.

All was silent.

The gale that had blown up for no reason earlier had subsided, leaving only a cool evening breeze.

Sora, with Elf in tow, quickly arrived at Mahiru's door and rang the doorbell.

The door soon opened.

Angel-sama, wearing cute bunny pajamas with her flaxen hair cascading down her shoulders, stood behind the door, her voice gentle:

"Elf... Sora-kun, good evening."

"Good evening."

Sora stood at the door, not entering the house, simply looking up at Mahiru.

Their eyes met.

A blush quickly surged onto Angel-sama's fair, jade-like skin, and her gaze darted away evasively.

Mahiru had thought she had calmed down enough, but the moment she saw Sora, she realized it still wasn't possible.

Her heart raced.

Her palms sweat.

Countless intimate scenes from the time loop surged in her mind.

Especially the final kiss in the restroom, which was incredibly clear, seemingly making even the tip of her tongue tingle slightly...

"Why is Mahiru suddenly blushing?"

Yamada Elf's voice was confused as she tilted her head to look.

"I just took a shower, so I'm a bit warm..." Angel-sama felt incredibly guilty, her voice shy. "Elf, hurry up and come in."

After Yamada Elf entered, Angel-sama looked up:

"It's already very late, Sora-kun, hurry back and rest."

Sora gave a light nod: "Mahiru, goodnight."

"...Goodnight."

After saying goodnight, Sora turned and prepared to leave.

"Wait a minute!"

Yamada Elf put her hands on her hips, very unhappy:

"Why didn't Sora say goodnight to me?"

"..."

Helpless, Sora said goodnight to Elf as well, then turned and left.

"I'm home."

Pushing open the door and returning to the entryway, the silver-haired loli wearing pajamas quickly ran to Sora's side.

"Pervert Nii-san!" Sagiri stood on her tiptoes, holding a magnifying glass, carefully inspecting Sora like a detective.

"Were you and Elf playing terrible games?"

"I wasn't, I didn't, stop spouting nonsense." Sora delivered a decisive triple denial.

"I saw everything." Sagiri's tone was resentful.

"Nii-san was leading Elf on a leash... You were clearly playing a terrible alphabet game!"

Sora: "..."
