Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: The Creator’s Secret and the Four Corners

The Divine Realm The Astral Void

"A wedding..." Yash laughed softly to himself, the warm sound echoing in the starry, infinite void. "I wouldn't miss it for the world, Aldric. And I promise you... you will get your answers."

Suddenly, the massive spatial currents around him violently shifted. The colossal, nebula-scaled Dragon of the Deep Seas and the terrifying Empress of the Frozen Skies materialized directly beside his floating asteroid.

"What message arrived from Earth, God of Time and Space?" the Dragon rumbled, its ancient, cosmic voice literally shaking the surrounding stars.

Yash stood up smoothly, dusting off his glowing divine robes. "Nothing you need to violently worry about. But before I descend to the mortal realm, I need to speak with the Original God."

The two Primordial Gods exchanged a shocked, impossibly heavy silence. No one simply asked to speak directly to the Creator. But before they could even voice their absolute outrage, Yash vanished in a blinding flash of silver chronological magic, teleporting directly to the absolute highest pinnacle of the Divine Realm.

The Pinnacle of Creation The Original God

Finally, after an eternity of absolute separation, the ultimate ruler of existence came into view.

The Original God did not sit on a throne of forged gold or carved stone. He sat upon a terrifying, beautiful nexus of swirling, living galaxies. His true form was breathtaking and entirely unfathomable he possessed the rough, towering outline of an ancient humanoid, but his 'body' was constructed entirely of shifting constellations, burning supernovas, and deep, purple cosmic nebulas. His eyes burned with the blinding light of creation, holding the absolute weight of infinite, branching timelines.

Grand Duke Yash stepped forward and immediately dropped to one knee, bowing his silver head in profound, absolute respect.

"It is quite rare for the God of Time and Space to show me such deep, quiet respect," the Original God's voice echoed. It didn't sound like a normal, physical voice; it sounded like the violent birth and gentle death of stars, reverberating directly inside Yash's immortal soul. "Why have you come here?"

"My Lord," Yash kept his head respectfully bowed. "My divine power has fully, flawlessly stabilized. Furthermore, with the dedicated help of the newly ascended Angels, we have successfully managed to fortify the fractured seal on the Demon Realm. We have bought the mortal world much more time."

"That is good," the Original God replied calmly, the nebulas in his chest shifting slowly. "Then why are you truly telling me this, Yash?"

Yash swallowed hard. "Because my power is stable... I need formal permission to descend to Earth. I deeply need to attend the wedding of my nephew."

"Your nephew is marrying for the second time, if I am not wrong?" the Original God asked, the supernovas in his eyes flickering with an ancient, omniscient amusement.

"Yes, My Lord. He is legally marrying Princess Seris of Jeal," Yash said. He took a deep, shuddering breath. "And... I must ask you one more pressing question, My Lord. Please completely forgive my rudeness, but it is of absolute, universe altering importance."

"I already know exactly what you are going to ask," the Original God stated softly. "But speak."

Yash looked up bravely into the shifting galaxies of the Creator's face. "Does my eighteen year old nephew's firstborn... Lyra's unborn child... truly possess a fragment of Divine Power? And if yes, how is that mathematically or magically possible for a mortal womb to contain?"

The Original God was silent for a long, heavy moment. The cosmic nebulas around his body shifted gently, like breathing.

"You will know the full, absolute truth when the precise time comes, Yash," the Original God answered, his voice echoing with absolute, unquestionable finality. "But you must keep it a strict, unbreakable secret until then. And you absolutely must not tell your brother, Emperor Aldric."

Yash frowned in profound confusion. "But Aldric specifically summoned me to answer that exact question! If I cannot tell him the absolute truth, then what answer do I give him?"

"Lie to him," the Original God commanded gently. "Tell him it is a 'Mana Resonance.' Tell him that because the children possess a phenomenally rare, incredibly powerful Triple Attribute core, their raw magic occasionally mimics a divine frequency by sheer mathematical accident. It is a logical, grounded lie that a pragmatic mortal Emperor will entirely believe."

Yash bowed his head once more, accepting the burden. "I understand, My Lord. Thank you."

The greatest mercies of the divine are often the truths they intentionally hide from us until we are finally strong enough to bear their weight.

The Mortal World The Southern Territory

Down on Earth, the political shockwave of the sudden Royal Wedding had hit the four corners of the Kaelen Empire like a catastrophic earthquake.

Inside the opulent, heavily guarded estate of House Valerius, Duke Alistair was pacing furiously in front of a roaring fireplace.

Sitting elegantly on the plush velvet sofas were his two remaining trusted heirs: his cunning second daughter, Livia Valerius, and his eldest, most ruthless son, Julian Valerius.

"This is a total, unprecedented disaster!" Duke Alistair roared, violently shattering an expensive wine glass in his hand. "First, the Cathedral trap completely, humiliatingly fails. Now, the Second Prince is immediately marrying the Crown Princess of Jeal! The Emperor has annexed an entire, massive kingdom overnight without lifting a single sword! Their political shield is completely impenetrable!"

"Father, calm down," Julian said smoothly, entirely unfazed, casually swirling his own amber drink. He was just as venomous as his sister Elena, but far more dangerously calculated. "A shield is only truly impenetrable from the outside. If we cannot break them with assassins or public trials, we must simply break them from the inside."

Livia smirked, her dark eyes gleaming with absolute malice. "Julian is right. Think about it, Father. Princess Lyra and Princess Seris are two incredibly young, proud women sharing one powerful husband. Two Queens cannot possibly sit peacefully on one throne without eventually shedding blood. It is fundamental human nature. We just need to gently plant the seeds of jealousy. If we can manipulate them into hating each other, the Royal Family will entirely tear itself apart from the inside out."

Those whose hearts are entirely corrupted by greed will always falsely assume that everyone else is just as incapable of selfless love.

The Northern Territory The Vane Ducal Castle

In the freezing, dark stone halls of the North, Duke Kael Vane stood rigidly by the massive iron windows, looking out at a violently raging blizzard.

Standing stoically behind him was his eldest son, Lord Roderick Vane. Roderick was nearly sixty years old significantly older than Emperor Aldric and his face was heavily scarred from decades of brutal border wars. Unlike his arrogant, deeply foolish father, Roderick was terrifyingly cautious and deeply pragmatic.

"The Southern nobles are absolute, suicidal fools, Father," Roderick stated, his deep voice carrying clearly over the howling wind. "Cassandra Thorne's miserable failure at the Cathedral proved it. Emperor Aldric knew their exact plan before they even stepped foot on holy ground."

Duke Vane gritted his teeth, his pride wounded. "So what exactly do you suggest, Roderick? We just pathetically bow our heads and let the Emperor permanently humiliate our ancient bloodline?!"

"Yes," Roderick said bluntly, entirely lacking sympathy. "Father, Emperor Aldric is not a man you ever test twice. His Darkness magic is absolute, and now his monstrous son technically commands the vast armies of Jeal. We must stand down completely and immediately. Let the South continue their idiotic, prideful games and dig their own graves. We will quietly rebuild our strength in the deep shadows and wait for the Emperor to make a massive mistake. Until then... we show absolute, flawless obedience."

The Eastern Territory The Orion Ducal Estate

In the warm, highly organized luxurious war room of the East, a tall, incredibly handsome man with silver streaked blue hair stood over a massive, detailed map of the continent.

This was Duke Leander Orion, the legendary, undefeated Head of the Eastern Territory, the husband of Duchess Serene, and eighteen year old Arthur's father. While Serene was a fiery, explosive, front line warrior, Leander was the cool, flawlessly calculating tactician of the Empire.

Arthur stood proudly beside him, pointing at the newly absorbed borders of the Jeal Kingdom.

"It's absolutely brilliant, Father," Arthur grinned. "Zuzu... I mean, Prince Zion... practically doubled the Empire's military territory overnight by simply agreeing to a wedding."

Duke Leander chuckled softly, a rare sound, and placed a heavy, intensely proud hand on Arthur's shoulder.

"Do not ever underestimate the crushing weight of what the Second Prince just did, Arthur," Leander said wisely. "He didn't just take rich land. He actively took on the heavy burdens, the starving commoners, and the bloody, fractured civil wars of a broken kingdom simply to save one desperate girl's life. He physically possesses the ruthless, terrifying power of the Emperor, but he has the boundless, beautiful compassion of the late Empress."

Leander looked down at the map, slamming a carved blue knight piece directly onto the Kaelen Capital with absolute conviction. "Send a fast raven to the Emperor. Tell His Majesty that House Orion formally congratulates the Second Prince. As long as we draw breath, the East will forever be the absolute, unbreakable sword and shield of the Imperial Family."

The Western Territory The Riven Estate

Far away, in the lush, golden plains of the West, the atmosphere was completely, wonderfully different from the tense plotting of the rest of the Empire.

Duke Silas Riven of the West a jovial, massive man who absolutely hated politics and loved good food and exceptionally strong wine was throwing a massive, unannounced party in his sprawling courtyard.

"A second wife for the Cursed Prince! And an entire, massive Kingdom added to the Empire without a single casualty!" Duke Riven cheered incredibly loudly, raising a massive wooden tankard of foaming ale to the bright sky. "The Kaelen Empire is officially entering a golden age! May the Original God bless the Royal Family!"

The entire Western estate erupted in joyful, roaring cheers, drinking and dancing deep into the starry night, completely thrilled that the Kaelen bloodline was growing stronger and the peace was holding firm.
