Chapter 2 - THE START

Please remember that this is a completely amateur series.

STAGE 8: THE CITY RECREATED BY MEMORIES

"So, what happened?" asks Deregerol. "Tes, Utes, Temseral, Tenerasl, Boluk, Awakening... I learned the summary of them. That's all." Vahura replies. Stellan thinks, "It's the same as what we were told." "What do we do now?" asks Vahura. Abrakmat says, "Should we go home, or what?" Granq immediately says, "I can take you all to there if you want." But Vahura instantly refuses. "No need. We can go ourselves." he says. Deregerol and Granq are surprised; and Granq doesn't insist. "Let's go." says Vahura, looking at Deregerol and Abrakmat. Stellan speaks. "Vahura. Let me come with you." he says seriously. Vahura looks at Stellan for a while, sees that nothing is going through Stellan's mind, and simply says, "Get up." All four of them gets up and stands at the entrance of Jilid, looking at Werteron. Suddenly, the atmosphere changes and turns green, as they begin to fall. While the other three are stunned, Vahura falls without even losing his balance. "Which way is Koriwan, Deregerol?" he shouts. Deregerol, while trying to figure out its location, creates a map in his mind, and suddenly they are teleported to Koriwan. No one understands what's happening except Vahura. Koriwan, unlike the other planets, was a planet adorned with the purple backgrounds of Kortania. After looking around for a while, Vahura says, "So Koriwan has moved directly here." At that moment, the others get up and come to Vahura's side. "What's going on, Vahura?" asks Abrakmat. Vahura clearly replies, "I can teleport to wherever my eyes can see. And because I can see the mind like a picture album, Deregerol saw Koriwan's location exactly as he was thinking and teleported us all." "So, what are we going to talk about?" he asks afterwards. Deregerol says, "Actually, I don't have much to say. I just wanted to get Abrakmat out of there because he gets bored very quickly." Abrakmat replies, "I am bored..." Stellan doesn't speak, he walks towards Koriwan Castle. Vahura calls out to him, "Where are you going, Stellan?" Without even turning around, Stellan says, "I need to talk to you about something, Vahura. Something important. Deregerol, Abrakmat, you can come too if you want." He continues walking, and the others follow him. After crossing the mountains surrounding the castle, the group descends to the side of the castle and enters. "Do you have a meeting room or anything?" Stellan asks. Vahura shows them the way. They go down one floor, two floors, three floors... Finally, they come to a huge hall; there is a table in the middle and chairs around it. "Sit down." says Vahura. Everyone sits down and Stellan begins to speak. "I want to make it clear that what we discuss here stays here." The conversation, which starts with it, deals with the revelation of a terrible truth... (...)

STAGE 9: THE HORRIFYING TRUTH OF THE TES OF INFINITY

"When my Tes awoke, Baldr told me a story. I will now present it to you... When the first Temserals were born, the Jilid council was formed. The council members were, in order: Grotell the Temseral of Blood, Joluyan the Temseral of Time, Hukutsa the Temseral of Emotion, Kosmawa the Temseral of Space, Nrich the Temseral of Light and Almid the Temseral of Nature. Solezma spoke to them about the existence of a power called "Ritual." Rituals were divided into three levels: safe rituals, compulsory rituals, and forbidden rituals. Safe rituals are those that, as the name suggests, do not disregard the rules of the Boluk, such as creating Tenerasl or transforming Temseral into Tes. Compulsory rituals are those that must be performed in necessary situations, such as creating a new Tes for someone whose Tes has been shattered, and carry a slight risk of violating the rules of the Boluk. Forbidden rituals are those that are serious, illogical, and disregard the rules of the Boluk, such as erasing the concept. These are the rituals. Let's get back to our topic. After Baldr told me these things, he mentioned the other Temserals that were born; the Temseral of Reality, Felation, the Temserals of Benevolence and Malevolence, Marian and Karian, the Temseral of Life, Zornut, and finally the Temseral of Mind, Granq... Presumably, around that time, an unauthorized guest entered the holy void and spread itself throughout all the Baz... Yes, Vahura. This is none other than Larrdanorr, whom you described. According to Baldr, although the devil possessed Granq, Granq resisted. At least, that's what he thought. One day Granq came to Jilid and requested a meeting with Solezma. Of course, he was known as the wisest person thanks to the intelligence given by his Tes. Solezma took him to his chamber and they talked. I don't know what happened but Solezma listened to what Granq said. They brought Joluyan, Hukutsa, Kosmawa, Almid, and Nrich to Duzord, where Tes, Utes were created. Solezma appeared and erased everyone's concept of movement... It was a forbidden ritual. It systematically erased everyone, leaving them as pure concepts. Before he was completely destroyed and enslaved to the Tes of Infinity, what he saw was the Larrdanorr minion behind Solezma. Granq wasn't being controlled... Solezma was being controlled! Granq had already abandoned the devil's game and started playing his own! Because he had played the devil's game, he had defeated him at his own game... After telling me all this, he said something about my awakened Tes, and as I woke up, information flooded into my mind. I can't tell you Granq's purpose, but I can guess to some extent. The Tes of Infinity's purpose was most likely to eliminate any threats that could stand against Granq. You said Larrdanorr was dead, right Vahura? Then his minions must be dead too. This means there's no devil anymore. So why doesn't Solezma punish Granq? We need to find out! We must carry out a plan to destroy Granq Vahura, Deregerol, Abrakmat..." (...)

STAGE 10: THE IMBALANCED BALANCE OF BALANCE

After the reminiscing about the past, Abrakmat is the first to speak. "I think he wants to be the most powerful being or something..." he says. Deregerol adds, "If Vahura hadn't come, he probably would have finished us off too. He didn't expect Vahura to return like this, let alone come back at all." Vahura says, "Is a plan necessary? I could just go and kill him right now." Stellan says, "Unfortunately, we can't do anything while Solezma is with him." And a familiar voice begins to speak. "Sleep." Suddenly, Abrakmat, Stellan, and Vahura fall asleep. Deregerol doesn't understand what happened and reflexively lunges towards a more open part of the room. "Granq," he thinks to himself. Granq says, "You guessed right. You and Abrakmat, how do you say it... Palju õnne! (Congratulations!)" and reveals himself. "What nonsense are you talking, Granq? And why didn't you knock me out? You think I'm an easy target—" Deregerol begins, but Granq interrupts him, "Let me tell you why Solezma didn't harm me. I am his savior. While creating the Tes of Infinity, I freed Solezma from the devil controlling him and imprisoned the devil in a Tes. I am the inventor of the Nothingness Tes! Solezma sees me as a genius, but I am much more than that... As for your question, Deregerol... This 'fainting' spell is born from my seal. I can only 'knock out' three individuals." Deregerol tries to escape by breaking through the ceiling, but Granq appears beside him, grabbing him and smashes him to the ground. Deregerol gets up as if nothing happened and looks at Granq. "You're so ugly." he says. "My appearance depends on your imagination, Deregerol. I take shape in your eyes according to how you think of me." Granq replies. Deregerol says, "That's not what I mean, Granq. You're trying too hard to appear balanced... and that's irritating me. Your personality is ugly..." and lunges forward. Even though Granq uses his arms as shields, he can't stop the pressure, and the battle spills out into the open, onto the ground. While still in the air, Deregerol opens his seal. "The Seal of Balance: The Perfect Balance of the Scales of Justice." he says, the seal opens, the surroundings darken, and two circles forms beneath them. Granq turns around, trying to understand what the seal is doing, but Deregerol lunges forward, simultaneously punching Granq in the chest with all four of his arms. Before Granq can even understand what's happening, Deregerol starts raining punches down on him. Granq regains his composure and begins to retaliate, pushing Deregerol back. Instead of lunging directly at Deregerol, his eyes fix on the circle beneath his feet. "I understand... It's scales, isn't it? The one who prevails wins..." he says. Deregerol gets up and is knocked back to the ground by Granq's fist. Noticing that Deregerol's scales are dropping, Granq plunges his arm into the middle of Deregerol's body and pulls him to his own space. Deregerol loses his sight in agony, and the only thing he can do is watch the scales tip in favor of Granq's victory... "It's over, Deregerol. Watch me defeat you with your own seal..." Granq says, but Deregerol interrupts him. Speaking breathlessly, "Hey Granq... You see where my scales are going... Right? Up... To where everyone can see better... But I'm not one to believe in that up and down nonsense... What if I told you my seal... Is to completely eliminate the balance...?" At that moment, Granq, realizing what was happening, threw Deregerol aside and jumped into his scales. "Ma võitsin. (I win!)" With Deregerol's last words inside the seal, the seal shattered. Deregerol's wounds healed, his energy increased fivefold. The balance was broken. "Tule nüüd, Granq. (Come on, Granq!)" Deregerol returns to the arenas with all his might... Granq pauses and thinks to himself, "He's mocking me using his own language..." Deregerol replies, "What's wrong, Granq? Are you upset? Angry? Scared? I don't care. I thought you were a genius, but it turns out you're not so great." Granq calmly says, "Did you really think I was unaware? Pity you, Deregerol." Deregerol, surprised, says, "What are you rambling about, Granq?" and collapses onto one knee. "I'm a genius, just as you think, Deregerol. Actually, this has nothing to do with my intelligence. You're an idiot. While being five times stronger than your opponent in every aspect is quite a good seal power... Can you really handle five times everything in my head?" Granq continues. Just then, he senses something important and thinks. "My seal has been reduced from three to one... That means two of them broke my seal. Or... Abrakmat and Stellan followed the rules..." he says to himself. Granq approaches Deregerol and asks, "Do you have one last word, Deregerol?" But Deregerol vanishes. After staring at the empty ground for a while, Granq finally realizes Deregerol is gone and looks around in astonishment. A familiar voice begins to speak. "Are you dead, Deregerol?" the voice says. Granq looks towards the voice and says, "So you've won again... Abrakmat." Abrakmat turns to Granq and asks, "Is Deregerol dead?" Granq replies, "I have a better question. Is Stellan dead?"... (...)

STAGE 11: THE ARENA OF INSTANT ENLIGHTENMENT

"Sleep."

Abrakmat, awakened after words, gets up and looks around. The place he is in resembles an arena. After walking a short distance, he encounters a familiar face; Stellan. He approaches him and asks, "Where are we?" Stellan recognizes him and relieved to find someone familiar, says, "I don't know." Just then, Granq's voice is heard. "You are currently under the influence of my seal. To break free, one of you must die." Abrakmat immediately opens his arms and says to Stellan, "Hurry and kill me." But as Granq continues, Abrakmat's mind changes. "I would also like to point out that you will not die without a fight; that is, you cannot kill yourselves or allow yourselves to be killed. While you fight to the death, I will take care of Deregerol..." he says and disappears. After waiting for a while, Abrakmat asks Stellan, "What do we do?" Stellan turns to Abrakmat and says "Either we'll use force to break the seal, or we'll wait for it to wear off... or we'll have to kill each other." Abrakmat replies, "Deregerol mustn't die. We'll use the quickest route. We must save." Stellan says, "Yes, you're right. We don't have much time. But isn't Deregerol powerful? Don't you trust him?" Abrakmat tries to explain, "The Tes of Balance is strange. I don't understand what it's doing, but Deregerol is using all his power. I know. Even if I trust him... That Tes can transform him into someone else. Or it's just me." Stellan nods understandingly. "There's no time to wait for the seal to wear off, Abrakmat. Considering who the owner of the seal is, using force could take too long. A death battle seems like the only option." Abrakmat appears at one end of the arena and says, "Hurry." Stellan can't understand Abrakmat's recklessness, but dismisses it and appeares at the other end as he said, "Let's finish it." But just then, the atmosphere changes; Stellan's side of the arena was completely destroyed, Stellan lay motionless on the ground, covered in blood, his light fading. Soon realizing what had happened, Stellan barely manages to lift his head and look at Abrakmat, who had turned around. "Ab... rakmat..." he called out, but of course, he could barely hear his own voice. Then, suddenly, something happens. Stellan wasn't surprised, but he doesn't understand what happened either. All his wounds heal, and his energy returns before he realizes. "Hey Abrakmat... Aren't you forgetting something?" he says. Abrakmat looks at Stellan and simply says, "Didn't you die?" Stellan replies, "How does enlightenment come, Abrakmat? Why does it come? When does it come? To whom does it come? What is enlightenment, Abrakmat? Enlightenment is the revelation of errors and mistakes caused by ignorance, which is equated with darkness. Through enlightenment, you see what you couldn't see before. Enlightenment is ascendance. But enlightenment is not for everyone, only for those who are wrong. Yet, if you don't work for righteousness, you will be trapped in darkness. So how does enlightenment come? In an instant. Familiar, isn't it? Enlightenment is always good... The only bad thing is that you never know when it will appear. This is another power of the Light Tes. Adaptation. I tasted the power of your Tes and became enlightened and adapted... How about a rematch, old friend? I've become quite strong after the Battle of Koriwan, after all." He continues. Abrakmat says, "We have a mission. There's no time for fun." but he can't change Stellan's mind. "Okay. I'll finish quick and reunite with my brother." he says. Stellan attacks but is instantly deflected and finds himself against the wall. After realizing what happened, Stellan takes cover and luckily blocks Abrakmat. He gets a brief glimpse of Abrakmat, which leads to an enlightenment... "There was a lapse... Blocking him ruined the moment and froze Abrakmat for a while... And on top of that, he's slowing down..." he thinks to himself. When the same thing happens a couple more times, Abrakmat realizes what's happening and stops. Stellan gets up and says, "I've figured you out, Abrakmat. Let's finish this in one go." Abrakmat just waits. They both instantly lunge at each other and collide in the middle. The same thing happens again, and Abrakmat freezes. Stellan, thinking he's won, realizes he's frozen at the same time, and they both lunge back. Stellan thinks to himself, "It wasn't Abrakmat who was stuck in the moment... It was the moment itself! I froze too, because the moment between us froze. Time, life, death, everything froze for a moment! And that froze us both." finally Abrakmat lunges forward, and Stellan grabs Abrakmat's fist but remains frozen in place. He thinks, "What's happening? I'm fading... What did he do? I can't move... But... I understand...! He froze my moment. My body is failing. I'm sorry, Baldr... I have to hand over my duty..." Abrakmat withdraws his hand and turns away. "Are you there, Granq? I've finished the job..." he says. Stellan was dead... Abrakmat wakes up and looks around. He sees Vahura and Stellan sleeping. He nudges Stellan, but there were no energy left. He confirms his death and exits the room through the broken part; there he sees Deregerol and pulls him along... (...)

STAGE 12: DARKNESS AFTER LIGHT DISAPPEARS

"He's dead." Abrakmat replies to Granq's question. "So you finished your unfinished business. I understand." Granq says. Abrakmat ignores Granq and turns to Deregerol. "Can you hear me?" he asks, but receives no answer. Granq attacks distracted Abrakmat with terrifying speed, but Abrakmat repels him. Finding himself crashing into the mountain range, Granq understands what happened after a while and says, "Abrakmat... I still don't understand his Tes... The Tes of Mind can only transmit information from the mind. But this guy is an imbecile! He doesn't think, he just attacks. He has no information in his head, or an idea about what's going on!" and he gets up. "Considering Abrakmat's Tes is the Tes of Moment... He attacks instantly and drags whatever he touches along with his moment. The target moves forward at that moment, until it stops... But there's another possibility: the power to erase the moment. Perhaps it has the power to erase as many moments as it wants... I can't have an idea until I find a definite mind." While Abrakmat tries to talk to Deregerol, Granq takes flight and heads towards Jilid. "I could fight. But I'm sure I can't win." he says to himself. Granq, emerging from Koriwan, moves towards Jilid as quickly as possible. Abrakmat is still dealing with Deregerol. "What should I do with you, Deregerol? Give me an idea..." he asks as if he was asking for help. Deregerol slowly regains consciousness and manages to use his seal again, freeing himself from the previous effect of it. Breathless, Deregerol stands up and asks, "Is Stellan really dead?" Abrakmat simply replies, "Yes." Deregerol closes the seal and says, "Granq has escaped too..." While Abrakmat looks towards Granq, Deregerol goes back down to the meeting room and sees Stellan and Vahura. "What are we going to do?" he thinks to himself. Abrakmat approaches Deregerol, and Deregerol turns to him and asks, "What happened after you fell asleep? How did Stellan die?" Abrakmat replies, "Granq made us fight, and I won." At that moment, something occurs to Deregerol. "Wait a minute... We never thought about what Granq's Tes' power was. What could the Tes of Mind be doing?" he says, but of course, no one answers. Deregerol walks to Stellan's body, examines it briefly, and begins searching for his Tes. Abrakmat also goes outside the hall and looks around. Deregerol, holding the Light Tes in his hand, goes outside and calls Abrakmat to him. "Vahura doesn't seem likely to wake up. If we wait for him, we might never catch Granq. Let's go, Abrakmat." he says, and thanks to Abrakmat's Tes, they instantly reach Boluk... (...)

STAGE 13: SELF. WHIM. FAITH.

"Sleep."

Following these words, Vahura finds himself on a blood-red planet, in front of an abandoned hut. Vahura glances around and decides to enter the hut. He doesn't speak, doesn't feel, he just acts. Inside, he sees three barrels of supply, a note on the floor, and a man whose face is blurred, having hanged himself. He wants to catch a glimpse of the man's face, but because it's blurred, he can't see it, so he bends down to the note on the floor. The note contains only strange symbols, but Vahura reads them, "Is death salvation?" He can't even hear his own voice. Suddenly, the writing on the note changes to, "Death will never arrive. I will always suffer by remaining alive." Vahura, without reacting, slowly puts the note down and takes one last look at the hut. He steps out the door, but the red planet has given way to a corridor. Although the atmosphere is still red, there's no trace of the planet. As Vahura steps into the corridor, the hut vanishes behind him. As he guessed. Vahura moves forward... forward and forward... until the corridor leads to a prison. As Vahura goes deeper, the atmosphere slowly shifts from red to blue. Stepping into the prison, filled with cells and cages, Vahura sees the dried-up corpses in the cells. As he gets closer, their faces become more distinct, more familiar. Although he doesn't know who they are, Vahura can't hold back his tears and gets closer, but the closer he gets, the further away he feels. Realizing what's happening, Vahura quickly runs to the other cells, but the same thing happens again. And again, and again... Vahura weeps until he's exhausted. Their faces are so familiar, he recognizes the corpses so well; he can't stop crying... even though he doesn't remember who they are. He cries so much that his eyes pop out, and water gushes from his eye sockets like a waterfall. Water floods everything, and Vahura begins to drown. Then he finds himself on a purple planet similar to Kortania. He checks his eyes first; find them there. He starts moving forward, as if searching for a clue, as if nothing had happened. He finds himself at the edge of a cliff and jumps without thinking. After a while, he hits the ground, but the ground cracks, and opens into a lake. Vahura's becomes completely blind in the lake, but he doesn't panic. Finally, he reaches the bottom of the lake, and the ground cracks again, but he finds himself in another place. It surprises him, but not being teleported to other places, but the crack under the water. Thoughtfully, he moves to an area with a more purple atmosphere and surveys his surroundings once more. This time he finds a city; the buildings are dilapidated, rubble has formed, and plants have overgrown everywhere. The city is visibly abandoned. As he approaches the city, he notices a barracks-like structure nearby and, forgetting about the city, happily goes there. He enters, but as usual, there is no sign of life. He wants to look around and begins to wander inside. There he sees blue, yellow, and green stains everywhere. Vahura stops at a large table. Three chairs have already been pulled up to the table. He pulls up another chair and sits down. At the far end of the table is a worn, blue-stained sword on a chair, on the chair opposite his is a dried-up corpse head, and on the chair next to him is a strange-looking spear. After Vahura sits for a while, another chair is pulled up to the table. This time, a giant handsaw sits down. Suddenly, every object on the table, and Vahura himself, are stained with the yellow and green dirt. The saw suddenly attacks Vahura, but the strange-looking spear protects him. The dried-up corpse head also puts on a displeased expression. Everyone returns to their seats, and the saw disappears, his chair falls to the ground. Then the same thing happens to the spear. Vahura, now bored, gets up to go outside, causing his chair to fall over. As he stares, the corpse head disappears, and its chair falls too. Finally, the sword vanishes, and its chair falls to the ground as well. Vahura goes outside and sees the same hut he first saw. Everything is red again. He walks and walks until he reaches the hut. He reaches for the doorknob, but the door doesn't open. He tries to peek inside through the windows, but he can't see anything. Just then, the door opens; not from inside, but from outside. Vahura hears a sound after a long time... not the sound of the door opening, but the voice of the person who opened it. "Don't be afraid." said the person who opened the door. Vahura stares at the door in astonishment for a while, then finally decides to go inside. The only change inside is that one of the supply barrels is lying empty on its side. Vahura's eyes immediately fall on the note on the floor, and without even checking the corpse, he reaches for it, picks it up, and reads it. "Wake up." He says this and turns his eyes to the corpse. What he sees before waking is the corpse's face. Or rather, his own face. Vahura looks around: the ruined meeting room, the purple-green atmosphere illuminating the interior from the ceiling, Stellan's lifeless body... Vahura stands up and controls Stellan's energy. "The supply barrel... I understand..." he says and exits through the ruined ceiling. "Where did everyone go?" he asks himself and sets off towards Jilid hoping to find a clue... (...)
