Roughly a mile away from the campsite, Solomon and Kulbro arrived at the exact coordinates of the previous night's excursion.
There was absolutely no river flowing through the clearing.
[1Fizzy: wait where is the water?!]
[James_hayes: the whole river just vanished.]
[Brerell: the spatial distortion is real.]
[Mezz_3863: Solo Man literally just bathed here last night.]
'I did not bathe.'
Solomon glanced around the dry, rocky terrain, searching for the towering cascade of water. The massive waterfall was entirely gone.
Kulbro knelt on the dry earth, performing a few basic tracking checks by inspecting the undisturbed soil. He stood back up and looked at the silver-haired boy. "Are you certain this is the correct place?"
Solomon did not respond immediately. He walked over to a sheer rock face that stood exactly where the waterfall had crashed down the night before. He began climbing the dry stone, finding the hidden handholds and narrow crevices with practiced ease.
