Lune reached her guest quarters, clutching the fluffy towel tightly around her damp clothes. She dried her hair, changed into a fresh silk nightdress, and sat on the edge of her mattress. She stared at the closed wooden door, her foot tapping impatiently against the floorboards.
A few minutes later, a soft knock echoed from the corridor.
'He actually came,' Lune thought to herself. She knew it was Solomon coming to apologize for his cowardly behavior at the hot spring.
She had already made up her mind that she absolutely would not forgive him easily. He needed to understand how incredibly selfish his logic was.
She marched over and pulled the heavy oak door open, fully prepared to shout at him. However, the person standing in the hallway was not Solomon.
"What are you doing here so late?" Lune asked, staring at the white-haired royal.
"Can I come inside?" Elizabeth requested, glancing nervously down the corridor.
