Kevin was fairly sure he hadn't had this good a morning in years, maybe ever. He had made love to his husband. The mere thought made his heart flutter ready to burst. He looked down at his husband as he slept in his arms looking cute and soft. The previous night Evan had kissed Kevin again and again saying he loved him. It wasn't proper kissess but small pecks and Kevin didn't care, as long as Evan was willing to sit and talk with him. And sex, ofcourse sex was important but if his mate was not comfortable he would wait. But since yesterday night he was sure that won't be the case. Evan had responded well to him. And they had cuddled all night, Kevin had high hopes for them after last night.
He felt his mate groan and stretch.He truely looked like a kitten. Kevin could only chuckle at his adorable mate. Devon was indeed right. He was adorable.
When Evan openned his eyes. He was greeted with a charming smile. And he could only flush. Remembering their previous intimate moments.
"Goodmorning, Did you sleep well love? " Kevin asked tracing his lips with his finger. And Evan's breath hitched. It brought a smirk to Kevin's lip as he brushed his lips in mate's ear. "Mo-morning Kevin" Evan breathed out. Already panting. Dear Goddess Kevin was loving it. His mate all flushed and out of breath. But they needed to get up. As much as he wanted to mess him up again. They needed to go out and face everyone. It was a mess. He needed to clear out everything. He can't let his pack think ill about his mate. Now that he has him he must protect him. No matter what.
Kevin heaved a sigh. "As much as I want to stay like this, we have to go out. I have to present you to the pack " Kevin said nuzzling him.
And Evan went rigid in his arms. All the previous softness gone from his face. His emotionless mask back on. "Will they accept me? he asked. Kevin could only feel the thumping ache in his heart. Otherwise Evan looked expressionless. Which showed a face devoid of feeling.
No. Kevin couldn't have his mate pull away from him. He kissed his forehead softly and ran his fingers above the bite mark on his mate's neck. The mating mark. Evan shivered under his touch. "Babe you don't need to worry. You are my mate. And Luna of this pack. Ofcourse they will accept. And if not I will drown them in the river" He said. Evan chuckled lightly. Amused by his words. He let of the fear he was holding. He has his mate now. It will be alright. He hopes that.
When they come out of their room to have breakfast. Stefan made a good effort by not staring at the albino and his brother. They clearly looked mated. Their scents mingling with each other. He gave a questioning stare at his brother. But Kevin looked too much smitten to get his question.
"Did you make the breakfast? " Evan asked Stefan. Munching on his sandwich. It was really good. "Yes, i did, we have always stayed together and even after reaching adulthood we didn't move out. Well now Steven did last night. " Stefan said and laughed. Oh he really wanted to be with his mate. Seeing the newly mated couple made him feel envious. But that guy didn't want him. It was sad. But it was reality and Stefan was not someone to daydream.
"I can understand that very well my brother is also very protective of me. And sometimes it becomes overwhelming" Evan said. Stefan chuckled how can this guy give him support with such a stoic face. It was hilarious.
"Babe you are wrong, I don't overwhelm them." Kevin whined looking at the Albino. Stefan gaped. This wasn't right. If it is. It meant Evan was Kevin's mate. Oh Goddess. It meant Kevin will let go of that ridiculous plan. Stefan was relieved. Now all he needed was a talk with brother. To lecture him on his stupidity. He had already planned to inform the Albino about his brother's plans and wanted to help him escape.But seeing them now he was willing to let it go. It will no longer be a problem. His brother won't let harm come to his mate.
The only problem was his mate Sebastian. He didn't know how he will react. But Stefan couldn't care less. He would leave it to Kevin to deal with him.
Evan could see that Stefan was spacing out not eating as much as he should have been, just picking at his food, though he gave no indication of dislike. Maybe it was discomfort to sit with him. If he left would it get better? But then he eyed his mate. Munching at his own sandwich and peeking at him from time to time
Evan heart swelled. Feeling loved. "Do you not want to eat Stefan?" He asked. Stefan was his husband's brother and he desperately wanted to get along with him. And to his surpise Stefan gave him a smile. "Evan I am alright don't worry about it, how about I show you the house after breakfast " Stefan asked. Evan felt hope as a smile tried to break free. He eyed Stefan and nodded eagerly. So not dignified. But it was okay. He was going to be okay. He was happy
Evan let Stefan show him the house and most of the garden. But the silence was unnerving.he was here and again he wasn't. Stefan couldn't take it anymore. "What's bothering you?" he asked , frowning when Evan gaped at him . "I - you - what? You - argh!! How did you know something was bothering me " the Albino spluttered; Stefan laughed. Evan was too hilarious when looked closely. Evan glared at him and Stefan not entirely sure what he had done to prompt this sudden behavior but unwilling to push his boundaries and make it worse.He stopped laughing.
Kevin had already gone to face the elders and Sebastian. Stefan was not ready to think about that scum now. Instead he thought about Evan. The ceremony to present the luna would be held in the evening. Stefan was sure Kevin didn't have anything prepared. He almost felt sorry for his brother but he didnt. He deserves it. That shit.
But before going Kevin had kissed his mate right before him. Uncaring of his presence proud and bold. That made him feel a little lonely.
It had been only one day but Kevin wanted nothing more than to cherish his mate. Stefan can see it in his eyes. And he wanted to have that with his mate too. He was pulled out of his reverie by Evan saying about the plants he had at his home. Tell that to my brother Stefan thought. He would probably gift you a whole garden.
But he was happy, so happy for his brother. Happy that he accepted his mate. And also for Evan. He was so lucky .
"Welcome to the Family " He said to Evan and smiled. Evan looked at him shocked and then he smiled too.
Evan felt the same type of comfort coming from Stefan that he found in Kevin.
They had talked about gardens and flowers. Evan had shared his recipes.
Stefan was happy to have someone with interest in cooking. He then told Evan stories about Kevin. And he had never felt this better. Evan clearly seemed happy. Maybe he could live with this. With a friend and a mate to cherish
