The evening was calm, but the restaurant was busy.
Soft music played in the background. Glasses clinked. People laughed. But in the middle of all that noise, something unexpected was about to happen.
Arif adjusted his shirt and walked toward table number 6.
"Good evening, ma'am… what would you like to order?" he said politely.
The girl looked up.
For a second… everything stopped.
Her eyes were deep, calm, and a little mysterious. Arif forgot his next line. He had served hundreds of guests before—but this felt different.
"I'll have chicken soup," she said softly.
Her voice was simple, but it stayed in his mind.
"Y-yes, ma'am," Arif replied, slightly nervous.
He walked away, but something inside him had changed.
Why did her voice feel familiar?
Why did his heart beat faster?
