Chapter 1 - Hacienda Creepy hunt

Lila was five the first time she stepped into the old house on Willow lane. The air hung thick with dust, and even sunlight seemed cautious as it crept through cracked windows. She didn't know then what the jewelry in my hand will cost me-only that every glint of silver pulled me closer, as if the house itself waited for me to return.

Years later, Lila returned to the house willow lane, the air was still heavy with that sake old ache. Each step up the creaky porch whispered a forgotten a promise, and the sliver pendant I wore felt heavier at my throat. Something inside me knew she wasn't just visiting-she was returning to face what she left behind. As she pushed open the front door, the familiar scent of damp wood and faint lavender washed over her. The hallway seemed narrower than she remembered, shadows stretching along the walls like old secrets. She knew that each room held a piece of the puzzle-a memory she had locked away, waiting for her to finally understand. She moved slowing down the hall, each floorboard groaning underfoot as if warning her to stop. But she couldn't. The door to her old room stood ajar, and as she reached for the handle, a faint melody-a lullaby-drifted from inside. My heart raced, knowing that she was about to confront whatever had been waiting for her all these years.

Lila took a deep breath and pushes the door open. The room was just as she remembered, but colder, as if it had been waiting for her. The silver pendant in her hand grew warmer, and on the vanity, the tiny jewelry box she once touched lay open-empty,but waiting for her to remember. And in that silence, the truth began to unravel. She run her fingers along the dusty vanity until she spots a faded photogragh, tucked behind a broken frame.

As soon as she picked it up, a strange sensation ran through her, as if the past was pulling her back. As Lila turned the photo over in her hands, she notice a name scrawled in faded ink on the back-" Isela,1934". Her heart skipped a beat. Who was Isela? The attic felt colder suddenly, as if the walls were holdinig their breath, waiting for her to uncover the truth. In that moment, Lila realized the picture wasn't just a clue- it was a door , leading her deeper into the hidden game inside the hacienda. Lila followed a narrow corridor that she had never noticed before, just beyond the parlor. Each step echoed, and the air grew heavier, almost as if the house was guiding her, pulling her toward a forgotten door at the far end. And behind that door, she sensed, was a truth waiting to be uncovered.
