One thing I admit to doing before was looking at plus sized people weirdly. I never voiced it in the open, nor changed expression with them, but my intrusive thoughts would without fail judge them.
I used to be really skinny too, and the jokes did fall to me once in a while, but I didn't realize they were just different sides of the same coin. Both sides don't realize it at least.
But it hit me one time, that maybe I was just lucky to hit a genetic lottery. You see my My dad doesn't drink nor smoke, or maybe he quit as early as before we were born. He's still very well lean, without physical discomforts and even more, active as a seventy year old who covers long distances just because.
My mom is not as old but she's incredibly fit, you could instantly tell her apart when she stands with her peers. From the pictures with their parents as well, it seemed body fat had nothing on them all.
And the result? Three skinny kids, lean physique at older age, and above average physical capabilities. Although of the three of us, there was one who kept testing the limits to how much genetics could hold her before finally adding workouts to ease its workload.
I think I'm probably the worst of them all, since I have the ultimate double edge sword, the 'fast metabolism'. I eat the most of anyone else in my family.

Dad: 90% Food, 10% Junk food, 2.2vttk/day
Sister: 60% Food, 40% Junk food, 2.5vttk/day
Brother: 70% Food, 30% Junk food, 1.8vttk/day
Mom: 99% Food, 1% Junk food, 1.5vttk/day
Me: 95% Food, 5% Junk food, 5.5vttk/day
(vttk: visits to the kitchen)
In my private apartment
Me: 40% food, 35% fruit, 25% junk, 4.5vttk/day
In school, such a metric is... different to say the least.
Me: 30% food, 30% junk, 0.8vttk(kafe), 60% fasting from starvation.
My roommate once praised my survival physique, but my system and I were just fighting a different battle.
🧠: we'll bring down this whole side to recoup their wages.
🙎🏽♂️: thank you so much... I'll build it back up.
🧠: if you don't find solution, you'll have to pay your workers with more... serious assets.
🙎🏽♂️: *shivers*
To be fair, as much as I do eat, I can just as much not eat and function for a while, it's a blessing when its not a choice to starve. But if my body was one civilization, I can't help but laugh at the famine period hitting them out of nowhere after an abundance of harvest. Or a rich guy suddenly being buttom poor in a week, and out of nowhere rich again, and poor again.
So with all these bullet proofs, it's very had to add, which made me think of people who have it more difficult on the genetic side, despite more disciplined with food and workout than I am, they're still a little error away from double the damage, and double the effort to get back to default.
Realizing how much more it could've turned out for me if I was unlucky, my intrusive thoughts simply stopped judging instinctively...
But the double edge sword about it is the fact I can't add weight or build much muscle, and with a shirt on I look like some... branch.
A lot of months could add a little but an off week kills the consistent effort. Regardless of which side you're on, whichever you actively experience is a pain in the butt.
