Euphoria scanned the area, then walked over to Hayes to check on him. "Hayes," she asked, "are you hurt? What happened?"
Hayes did not respond, only staring deeply at Euphoria.
Euphoria looked back at him, and after they locked eyes for a brief moment, Hayes suddenly jumped up and pinned her to the ground.
Euphoria was caught off guard; the grass underneath kept her from feeling any pain, but Hayes' behavior was highly unusual.
After knocking her down, Hayes began to lick her face. He was not being rough, but his tongue still stung her skin a bit.
Euphoria tried to block his face and said, "Hayes, what is wrong? Where are we?"
Hayes kept licking her, acting as though he could not hear her words.
Euphoria tried to pull away, but Hayes still covered her face in saliva.
After licking her for a while, as if he had done enough, he placed Euphoria on his back and kept walking.
