Euphoria was unsure exactly when Xie came back last night. Because she had consumed some wine, she drifted off to sleep shortly after Hayes and the others came home, missing Xie entirely until the following morning.
Xie had absolutely no clue what an opportunity he had missed; if he ever found out, he would be overwhelmed with regret and want to kick himself.
Euphoria reasoned that since she had already made up her mind, even though last night had been a failure, she still had plenty of time ahead of her.
Should she inform Xie beforehand to give him some time to prepare himself?
