After what happened at the gym, I went to apologize to Lucas.
He said it was fine, but I still felt guilty.
The way back home was quiet, and nobody spoke in the car.
When we arrived home, I was in a very bad mood, so I went straight to my room.
Alexis was there. At least Alex will always be there, no matter what.
Sigh.
"Alex..."
I jumped on my bed and took out my phone.
"Hmm."
I saw somewhere on the internet that when girls are angry, it takes a lot of time to calm them down.
I saw a video on human relations and decided to check it out.
"Huh, what's this video about? Could it really help?" I said as I sat up.
'When you are in a relationship with someone, trust is a very important factor!-'
The man in the video seemed to know way more about relationships than me, so I decided to listen.
'Errors always happen, the important thing is to show that you're willing to make up for them!'
"Yeah, it makes sense."
'So, you might wonder how you can do that? Well, there are various ways. The most efficient one is the direct apology.'
I don't think I have enough courage to see Lisa right now...
'The apology is more meaningful if it's in person, however a message can work too!'
Sending a message now would be too much, no?
'There's also more subtle approaches, for example helping the person. For example, you can—'
I turned off my phone and laid my head on my pillow.
"Ahh— I think I'll just send her a message."
...
She's not responding...
It took me a while to write this message.
It was so long to type, and I genuinely mean everything I said in it.
"She left me on read," I said while looking at the ceiling.
"What's?"
"What's read?" babbled Alex while crawling around on my bed.
"We really need to take you to some specialist, you're freaking me out, Alex," I replied while watching my phone.
[
Me:Lisa,Iknow that I made you angry today and I honestly want to apologise to you.I know this is not what you expected, but I didnt intend to disapoint you this much. And you know I really want to keep talking to you,so I would be realy sad if this incident separated us or smth.
]
"I made a lot of spelling mistakes..."
[
Lisa: You made a lot of spelling mistakes.
Huh, she replied?
Lisa: You know, I trusted you, and I still do.
I acted out of place back there, and I wish to apologize to you as well.
I took a look at my wrist.
Me: [photo] Apologies accepted.
Lisa: Wow, you really kept the bracelet? It's my favorite one! I knew you'd like it!
Me: Yeah.
Lisa: See you tomorrow, Johan!
Me: Cya
]
"See you..." I whispered to myself while turning off my phone.
I took a look at the silver bracelet on my wrist.
"So it's her favorite one..."

Fuck, I hate Mondays so much!
I heard that Johan went to a gym yesterday—he even fought! He didn't even tell me about it!
"Urgh... The club's performance report has to be done by Friday, but I don't have enough members to meet the quota..."
Anyways, I have to get ready for school.
...
"Mom!... MOM!"
"Yes, Laura, I can hear you, no need to scream!" she replied.
I'm going to be late, but I absolutely cannot go to school without eating my breakfast.
"Alright, it's ready now, come and eat!"
"Thank you, Mom!" I said while rushing to eat.
In the morning, I always eat the same breakfast. It's an omelette sandwich. The omelette is mixed with tomatoes, and it's really tasty!
Also, I don't drink milk. I hate milk because it makes my stomach upset, so I drink multifruit juice instead.
...
"Alright, all done now, go before it's too late!"
said my mom while pushing me outside.
I took my bike and pedaled as fast as I could.
I can commute to school in 15 minutes when I try my best. I'll be there right on time!
...
"Young girl, what's your name?" said the intendant.
I arrived too late and was sent to the supervisor's office to fill in a form.
"Laura Vanderis."
"Class?"
"First-year, Class B..."
"Okay, you can head to class, but your parents will be notified of your lateness." he said while picking up the phone.
...
When I entered the classroom, everyone was looking at me.
Why does everyone do that? Don't they have anything else to do?
"Sorry, teacher, I came late, but I stopped by the supervisor's office and filled a form." I said.
"Alright, give it to me and sit down." he replied.
My seatmate is a tall guy. Since I needed members, I tried to invite him, but he never spoke to me all year long, so I gave up.
Ahh— the club was doing fine until last month...
But since exams are coming, all the second-years and last-years decided to leave the club to free their schedules.
...
When the bell rang for lunchtime, I took my bag and went to the club room.
As always, Johan was there, but he came with that girl from last time.
"Hello, sorry for last time. My name's Laura, by the way." I said.
"Oh, no problem. My name is Lisa." she replied while playing with her hair.
"You can continue to talk, I'm just passing by to check something. Eavesdropping on you is the least of my concerns."
"Laura, please." said Johan.
"Urgh, come on, I didn't even say anything bad!"
Screeeeak.
We all looked towards the door.
"Um—hello? Is this the gaming club room?"
"Yeah, it is." I replied.
The dude was so tall that he had to lean to not hit his head against the frame.
"I'm here to apply..." he said.
"Wait. Aren't you the guy in my class?" I said while pointing at him.
"Laura, don't just point your fingers at strangers!" said Johan.
"Oh, I know him! He's on our town's youth basketball team!" said Lisa.
"Hm, so you're an athlete... Wouldn't a club activity be impossible with your schedule?" I asked.
"Hum, usually yes. But the thing is that I'm out for the season because of an injury, so I don't really attend practice anymore."
"Oh, sorry." I said.
"Well, no problem." he said.
"Lisa, you said you know him?" said Johan.
"Yeah, he's friends with Malik," she replied.
"Hm, weird. You've never talked to me since September, but now you're applying for my club?" I asked.
"Um—well, it's because..." He seemed embarrassed.
"Anyways, here's the application form. If you need anything, ask Johan, 'cause I'll be going now." I said to him.
I left the room.
This guy is pretty weird.
