"Yeah, that works for now," Sora said, looking over his attributes.

He'd decided to spread his points evenly for the time being. The truth was he still wasn't sure what his combat style would look like, so distributing them in a balanced way felt like the right call.

Besides, his stats weren't all that significant at this point. His level was still too low for them to make much of a difference.

Something else he'd noted was his attack power.

Attack power measured the raw destructive force a person could put out. From what he knew, someone with 1 point of attack power could destroy or damage a solid wall.

He'd also noticed that equipping skills from the library raised his attack power depending on the skill, so his effective output was a bit higher than 0.8.

His dagger contributed the extra +(0.2), bringing his total to a clean 1 point when he had it in hand.

Sora felt the night breeze, colder now, move through his jet-black hair.

The tips of his hair had turned white. It was the physical mark of spiritual transfiguration, a change his body had undergone upon crossing into the Spiritual Realm, though he hadn't noticed it yet.

"Alright... what if I try something new," Sora murmured, thoughtful, as he activated his skill.

There was no flashy display this time. He simply raised his right hand, pinching his index finger and thumb together as if gripping something invisible in the air. With a quick motion, his fingers closed around a card that seemed to materialize out of nothing, as if it had always been there.

On the face of the card, the engraving of a skeleton with a faintly cracked skull pulsed inside a pale blue-green spectral aura. At the bottom, in silver ink: [Skeleton Summon — F Rank].

The moment Sora moved the card, silver flames with green undertones consumed it, adding the skill to his system.

"[Evoke Sceletum]," he said calmly.

The ground in front of him trembled. A pulse of ghostly energy, blue-green in tone, rose from the earth like dense vapor.

The light condensed at specific points, solidifying into bone segments that gave off a faint white glow. The bones floated upward and locked together with a series of dry, rhythmic clicks until a complete skeleton stood upright before him, stripped of all flesh.

[T0m-54: What the...?? He just summoned an undead! I thought he was some kind of elemental mage?]

[0n_Kn15T: Fire, Ice, Earth, Air, and now Necromancy... what kind of monster IS this guy?]

[St3llar_M4g3: That's what I thought too, but if he can also summon undead, it must be something else entirely. Maybe an Omni-Mage? SSS rank? Or some class I've never heard of.]

[Yul1_087: There's something I don't get. With a Mist-stage spiritual core, aren't you only supposed to have up to 5 class skills?]

[K1ra_X8: As far as I saw he only used 5 skills. Though honestly there are passives that increase your skill slots, so that's possible. Also his elemental magic could all be one single skill for all we know.]

Sora observed his new creation. The skeleton tilted its head slightly, producing a faint creak as it waited for orders.

He knew the skill only allowed for one skeleton to be summoned at a time. Still, that wasn't entirely a drawback, since it was a summon he could keep active even when the skill wasn't currently equipped.

The only real downside was the cooldown: 3 minutes.

"Hmm. Say hi," Sora instructed, more out of curiosity than anything.

The skeleton obeyed immediately, raising its right hand and waving it back and forth, bones clacking softly with each pass.

"Oh. Very obedient," Sora remarked.

His eyes, now a vivid electric violet, traced each joint of the undead with quiet interest.

"Now jump."

The creature pushed off the ground and landed with a dull, slightly off-balance thud.

Its agility was noticeably poor, as expected from an F-rank summon.

"Alright, now hop on one foot while drawing circles with one arm," Sora said, a hint of amusement creeping into his voice.

The skeleton began hopping erratically on its left leg while its right arm rotated through the air in loose, uneven circles, cutting a surprisingly ridiculous figure in the middle of the quiet moonlit meadow.

[T0m-54: LMAO what a show. I can't believe he's wasting time on this.]

[Yul1_087: This is weirdly adorable. You can tell the little bonehead is really giving it his all.]

[Hunted_99: What a waste. He should be finding shelter instead of playing puppeteer.]

[4inz_Sam4-67: Hey! That's clearly unfair labor. I'm filing a formal complaint with the Skeleton Rights Union right now.]

Sora let out a muffled laugh behind his mask, enjoying the absurdity of the moment. It was nice to unwind after all that action.

"Alright, enough. You can stop," he ordered.

The skeleton straightened up instantly.

"Hmm. I think I should give you a name."

Sora rubbed his chin, watching the grass ripple around him in the silver moonlight, shimmering like a sea of mercury.

"Got it. Larry! That's your name," he announced, snapping his fingers. "You like it?"

The skeleton gave a single firm nod, jaw rattling slightly with the motion.

[T4mal_07: Larry?? lmao okay that's actually perfect.]

[4inz_Sam4-67: I wonder if that skeleton is truly worthy of carrying the weight of such a legendary name.]

[Yul1_087: It's actually a really cute name. I love it (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)]

"Great. Let's move," Sora said, feeling lighter than he had all evening.

But not far from where he stood, the atmosphere was anything but light. The breeze had grown heavier, and the silence of the night was broken by a low, guttural snort.

Through the tall undergrowth, two points of deep crimson blazed with the intensity of burning coals, like a pair of red dwarfs that had descended from the sky to fix their gaze on him.

A powerful hoof struck the earth, sending clods of dirt flying backward, as something massive emerged from the dark: a boar twice the size of any he'd seen before.

Its coat was an immaculate white that threw off silver reflections in the moonlight. Its tusks, two curved ivory scimitars arching toward the sky, were imposing in their thickness; one of them bore a golden metal clasp that caught the moonlight with a pale, steady gleam.

The beast locked its eyes on Sora, lowering its head and coiling its powerful muscles for the charge.

An Elite Lunar Boar. Level 5.

Playtime was over.
