"Get your fucking hands off me!"
The blond man caught my arm before I could get off the bed.
I swung at him.
Didn't know who he was. Didn't care.
He blocked it and grabbed my wrist.
"Reid, stop."
"Who the fuck is Reid?"
That made him freeze. The other man moved in from my left and caught me around the chest when I tried to stand.
Pain ripped through my ribs. I shouted and drove my elbow backward.
"Easy," he said.
"Don't fucking tell me easy!"
"Reid."
My head was pounding. Everything hurt. My ribs. My shoulder. The back of my skull. The room didn't look familiar. Neither did the men holding me. Nothing did.
There were people at the door too. An older woman. Two men. Another woman with gray through her hair. Every one of them was staring at me like I was supposed to know something. But I didn't, and that scared me more than the pain.
"Let me go."
The dark-haired man behind me tightened his hold when I tried to pull free again.
"We will when you stop trying to leave."
