Sez was doubtful. Of course, the most unbelievable thing was that Rayton, Rayton, had said he was okay escorting her. He had made it clear that he hated such gatherings, and there was no difference between empty, extravagant rituals and a debutante ball in his eyes. Sez knew better than anyone else that Rayton hated such things. Maybe he just couldn't disobey Lisette’s orders, just like how their Kazarkish tutoring started.
