Chapter 28 - Chapter 28: This Cat, Terrifying Indeed

"Caster, what are you doing?" Irisviel asked, a little confused, as Merlin, who was walking ahead on the overpass, suddenly stopped and looked up at the distance, waving both his hands.

Hearing Irisviel's words, Merlin stopped waving to the distance and turned around to answer her question, his tone very matter-of-fact, "Huh? Oh, I'm just saying hello."

"Saying hello… Could it be that Kiritsugu is up there?!"

Upon hearing Merlin's tone, Irisviel immediately wondered if Kiritsugu was up there, so she quietly confirmed with Merlin.

"No, it's another Servant, you see, they're coming over now." With that, Merlin smiled and pointed to Mashu, who was holding Fujimaru Ritsuka high in the air.

"Huh? So you're calling another Servant over?!" Irisviel was a little speechless when she heard Merlin's words; the Servant next to her was actually colluding with the enemy. She had only thought he was somewhat unreliable before, but now she truly felt Merlin was utterly absurd.

"What on earth are you thinking… Let's leave here quickly. You haven't even started building your base yet. If we fight a Servant, we'll undoubtedly be defeated."

"Don't worry, don't worry, they're not enemies… probably not." At first, Merlin spoke with confidence, but then the last part instantly became vague, giving off an extremely unreliable vibe.

"Besides, look, it's too late, they're already here~."

"…" Hearing this, Irisviel could only stare at Merlin in shock, remaining silent for a long time.

As Merlin said, soon, Mashu landed about 5 meters in front of Merlin and Irisviel, holding Fujimaru Ritsuka, very steadily. It was completely different from Tom's supersonic accelerated descent from even a few dozen meters.

If one had to compare it to diving, then this would probably be a perfect ten, while Tom… ha, the referee wouldn't even have time to score before being blown away by the shockwave.

"Good evening, may I ask if it is…" After carefully placing Fujimaru Ritsuka on the ground, Mashu greeted Merlin and was about to confirm if it was truly Merlin.

Before Mashu could even say the name 'Merlin,' Merlin eagerly began to introduce himself, completely ignoring Irisviel's horrified expression upon hearing Merlin directly reveal his true name, "That's right, I am Merlin☆Big Brother! Just call me Merlin!"

"Merlin, go to hell, Fou~!" Just as Fujimaru Ritsuka was about to speak, Fou suddenly darted out, launching a kick at Merlin's face with unparalleled resentment.

"Ah ha! This time I'm prepared…" Seeing this, Merlin, who had been kicked before and was now on guard, decisively extended a hand, intending to calmly block Fou.

Then… Fou phased directly through Merlin's hand, perfectly hitting Merlin's left cheek once again.

"Pukyu?!"

Returning to the haunted old house, Haku's temporary residence.

At this moment, the atmosphere inside the house was somewhat, or rather, extremely heavy. One person, one cat, and one mouse sat around the coffee table, all resting their chins on their hands, silent.

"I think it's necessary to temporarily halt your state of internal strife." Finally, Haku broke the silence. Looking at the surrounding ruins, Haku said from the bottom of his heart.

However, Tom and Jerry merely exchanged glances, then snorted and looked away, the tension between them so thick it felt like they could start fighting again at any moment.

Seeing the actions of the cat and mouse, Haku couldn't help but cover his face, completely unable to hold back.

"Bang~!" As they sat in silence, a piece of the ceiling fell from above, landing next to the three of them. However, they were already used to it, so they didn't react at all.

After all… the entire house was already, that's right, the entire house was already tatters (broken down)!

Just a moment ago, while they were happily eating dinner, Tom and Jerry, for some unknown reason, started fighting over a mere piece of fish. From initial jabs, it quickly escalated into a house-wide chase, the battle intensifying at an incredibly rapid pace!

Even to the point where they started throwing bombs at each other. The piece of ceiling that just fell was precisely caused by that bomb.

Heaven help them, that was a thumb-sized thunderbolt, and it had already caused this much destruction.

The recent explosion made Haku wonder if he would die here, but thankfully, that bomb didn't seem to cause him any harm, apart from his hair being blown into an afro and white smoke coming out of his mouth, there were no other injuries.

But… it was a superficial thing for Haku, but not necessarily for the building. The entire house's structure was almost shattered by the explosion.

Haku had no doubt that if he continued to let them fight, not to mention whether the house would be blown up, by then, the concern would not be the house, but whether the entire Fuyuki City would be razed to the ground. This was not about saving the world; it was more like destroying it.

Ultimately, unable to stop them, Haku immediately realized this was no ordinary brawl and he had to take decisive action!

Haku had no choice but to painfully use a Command Spell, which finally curbed their tata kai desires.

The cost was truly too high. He originally only had three Command Spells, but now, right at the beginning, he had already used one. This was no longer a matter of whether he felt pained; this was like cutting a piece of flesh from Haku's heart!

"Look, I even used one Command Spell, and there are still several days of fighting ahead." Saying this, Haku waved the back of his right hand, where there were now only two Command Spells and a faint stigmata.

Hearing this, Tom looked back, a disdainful expression on his face, thinking, "Is that all?"

Tom reached behind him, pulled out a red pen, then stood up and walked over to Haku. With a calm demeanor, he directly used the red pen to redraw over the faint stigmata. In less than a second, a brand new Command Spell appeared on the back of Haku's hand.

"Huh? How can drawing it on… be useful?" Haku was about to retort that 'this isn't a tattoo, but a type of magical crystal, so just drawing it on is useless,' when a sound suddenly echoed in his mind.

Opening his panel, he suddenly discovered that the pattern, which had originally only shown two Command Spells, had actually reverted to three again!

"What the heck?!"
