Sankarshana entered the cricket ground with a tall guy in his late twenties. When enquired, he introduced Indrajit to his 41 year-old brother Raghav. He was pretty confused as he heard the name. Sankarshana explained that his doubts were real. Indrajit is the cousin of Jay, the Global Leader. "Such a down-to-earth leader he is ", thought Raghav to himself.
The world has never been the same since the Great Death of 2044. We had already hit the "No freshwater day" in 2034 as the last drop of Ganga vanished into thin air. The leaders all around the world recognized the need for a centralized leadership to co-ordinate all the resources of the world and to end all wars that led to the formation of "The Globe" in 2032 headed by the first global leader, Vikram. After the No freshwater day, Ajay, Vikram's brother, spreaded the opinion that people choosing wrong leaders is the cause of such a tragedy and stamped democracy as a threat to humanity. Ajay usurped power from his already aged brother and established a centralized leadership with zero political rights for common people.
After his death on August 13, 2044, his 28 year old son Jay became the Global Leader. Jay introduced two rules - every family must atleast have one farmer and a house without two trees will be demolished. Indrajit is Vikram's only son who grew up entirely under Ajay as Vikram became a leader for the people not only of the people and by the people. Indrajit ran a game studio.
Coming back to cricket, Indrajit got along with the brothers very easily as what connected them was not ideology, religion or residence but a sport.
