Chapter 1 - "The Destruction of the Lin Clan and the Beginning of an Endless Journey."

Saga - 1st → Initiate to immortal.

Arc - 1st →Training of Lin Shuan.

In a universe where strength dictated fate, the weak were nothing more than dust beneath the feet of the strong.

Across the endless cosmos, countless worlds existed—each governed by its own laws, its own power, its own cruelty.

At the center of this vast existence lay the Xing Luo Planet.

And upon it, within the eastern expanse of the Tian Yuan Continent, stretched a mighty dominion—

The Da Cang Empire.

A land of power.

A land of cultivation.

A land where only the strong had the right to exist.

On the westernmost border of the empire, where icy mountains pierced the heavens and blizzards never ceased, stood an ancient city—

Myriad Frost City.

For centuries, this city had been under the rule of a single clan—

The Lin Clan.

A name that echoed across the empire.

A clan known for its Frost Bloodline Techniques…

and swordsmanship so sharp that even the wind itself seemed to split before it.

They were proud.

They were powerful.

They were unyielding.

But today—

Everything had changed.

The sky above Myriad Frost City was burning.

Not with sunlight—

But with destruction.

Meteors rained down like divine punishment.

Each impact shattered the earth.

Each explosion sent waves of fire and ice tearing through the city.

Buildings collapsed.

Walls crumbled.

Flames devoured everything in their path.

Screams echoed everywhere.

Men. Women. Children.

No one was spared.

What was once a symbol of pride…

Had become a living hell.

Meanwhile—

A figure dashed across the snow-covered path outside the city.

A boy.

Fourteen years old.

Dressed in white robes now stained with dirt and blood.

Lin Shuan [林栓].

His breathing was ragged.

Each inhale burned his lungs.

Each step felt heavier than the last.

But he didn't stop.

He couldn't stop.

His eyes were fixed ahead—

Toward the city.

Toward home.

On his forehead, a strange mark flickered faintly.

A seal.

Ancient.

Unstable.

Alive.

Lin Shuan (in his mind, gasping):

"Just… a little more…"

"If I reach home… everything will be fine…"

But deep inside—

He knew.

Something was wrong.

Because behind him—

The wind howled unnaturally.

And cutting through that wind—

Came shadows.

Several figures, dressed in black robes, were chasing him through the snow.

Their movements were swift… precise… inhuman.

On their robes—

A symbol glowed faintly.

A dragon.

Their eyes were cold.

Emotionless.

Focused.

And within those eyes—

There was only one intent.

Kill.

Back in the city—

The battlefield raged.

Blades clashed in a storm of steel.

Frost met fire.

Blood stained the white snow crimson.

At the center of the chaos stood an old man—

Tall.

Wounded.

But unbroken.

Lin Zhen Hai.

His breathing was heavy.

Blood dripped from the corner of his lips.

But his eyes—

Still burned with fierce determination.

Before him stood a man in black.

Calm.

Smiling.

Mocking.

Black-clad Warrior (laughing softly):

"If you had accepted our proposal…"

"…none of this would have happened."

Lin Zhen Hai tightened his grip on his sword.

His voice trembled—

Not with fear.

But with rage.

Lin Zhen Hai:

"Even if the Lin Clan is wiped from this world…"

"…we will never bow to traitors like you!"

For a moment—

Silence.

Then—

The black-clad warrior smiled wider.

And his body…

Melted.

Turned into liquid darkness.

SWOOSH!

In the next instant—

He appeared directly in front of Lin Zhen Hai.

The old man's eyes widened.

Lin Zhen Hai (shocked):

"Yu Long Sect…!"

"You people always rely on such despicable techniques!"

The warrior leaned closer.

Whispering—

Black-clad Warrior:

"In war… only the result matters."

Not far away—

An elderly woman stood trembling—

Yet resolute.

Behind her—

A little girl clutched her clothes.

Crying.

Terrified.

The woman turned—

And pushed her away.

Woman (shouting):

"Run! Don't look back!"

The girl hesitated—

Tears streaming down her face.

But the woman didn't look back again.

She stepped forward.

Standing between death…

…and the child.

Her voice roared through the chaos—

Woman:

"We may die…!"

"But we will NEVER bow!"

And then—

She charged.

At that same moment—

From the distant horizon—

A streak of red cut through the sky.

A girl.

Dressed in flowing crimson robes.

Her speed was terrifying.

Her aura—

Burned like flames.

Even the air around her distorted.

Her eyes—

Were filled with fury.

Girl (softly, dangerously):

"Lin Clan…"

"…hold on."

"I'm coming."

Deep within the forest—

Lin Shuan stopped.

His body trembled.

Not from cold—

But from realization.

He was surrounded.

All around him—

Yu Long Sect warriors stood.

Blocking every path.

Every escape.

Silence fell.

For a moment—

No one moved.

Then—

Lin Shuan smiled.

Faint.

Calm.

Strange.

Lin Shuan (quietly):

"I'm scared…"

"…but running is useless now."

He lifted his head.

His eyes sharp.

Lin Shuan (loudly):

"Alright."

"Show me…"

"Can you really kill me?"

A burst of laughter erupted.

Warrior 1:

"Hahaha! Look at him!"

"A mere Luo Initiate Rank trash… challenging us?"

Warrior 2 (mocking):

"Four years… no progress…"

"What a disgrace to the Lin Clan."

Warrior 3 (coldly):

"Enough talking."

"Kill him."

They moved.

Fast.

Deadly.

And then—

Everything stopped.

The wind froze.

Leaves halted mid-air.

Sound vanished.

Lin Shuan's eyes widened.

The mark on his forehead—

Began to glow.

Slowly.

Then—

BOOOOOOM!!!

The ground exploded.

A violent tremor shook the entire forest.

Cracks spread like spiderwebs across the earth.

A freezing storm erupted outward.

Everything—

Turned white.

Ice spread like a living force.

Devouring everything in its path.

And then—

Silence.

When the snow settled—

The warriors stood still.

Frozen.

Ice statues.

Their faces—

Captured in their final moment.

Shock.

Fear.

Disbelief.

Lin Shuan stood in the center.

Breathing heavily.

He looked at his hands.

Lin Shuan (shaking):

"Did… I do this…?"

The mark on his forehead glowed faintly.

That mark—

Was not just a mark.

It was a seal.

A power.

A mystery.

Something…

Even he did not understand.

A few days later—

The winds howled between the frozen mountains.

Lin Shuan stood atop a massive rock.

His body exhausted.

His breaths uneven.

But his eyes—

Were fixed downward.

Toward the valley.

Toward—

Myriad Frost City.

Lin Shuan (panting):

"I… made it…"

He looked down—

And froze.

The sky was dark.

Smoke filled the air.

Flames burned through the ruins.

The city—

Was gone.

Lin Shuan (whispering):

"…what… is this…?"

His heart pounded violently.

Then—

He ran.

Faster than ever before.

Moments later—

He reached the gates.

The massive stone entrance—

Still stood.

But broken.

The word—

"LIN"

Carved upon it…

Was cracked in half.

Blood stained the ground.

Deep sword marks covered the walls.

And yet—

No one was there.

Silence.

A dead silence.

Lin Shuan (shaking):

"No…"

He stepped inside.

The clan—

Was gone.

Bodies lay scattered.

Burned.

Broken.

Unrecognizable.

Weapons lay abandoned.

Blood covered everything.

His vision blurred.

Lin Shuan (whispering):

"This… can't be…"

Tears filled his eyes.

He ran.

Toward his home.

And when he arrived—

He stopped.

Everything…

Was ash.

At the center—

A massive impact crater.

Like a meteor had fallen.

Lin Shuan (trembling):

"No…"

"This wasn't a meteor…"

"…this was an attack…"

Then—

He saw something.

A pendant.

He picked it up slowly.

His hands shook.

Lin Shuan (broken voice):

"This… is… Mother's…"

His breath stopped.

And then—

He screamed.

"MOM!!!"

His voice echoed through the ruins.

But no one answered.

Later—

Among the ashes—

He found something else.

A small jade bracelet.

And memories flooded back.

A girl.

Smiling.

Holding his hand.

The only one—

Who never feared him.

Lin Shuan (whispering):

"…Lin Yun…"

Tears fell again.

But then—

They stopped.

Slowly—

Lin Shuan stood up.

His eyes—

Had changed.

No sorrow.

No weakness.

Only rage.

Cold.

Burning.

Absolute.

Lin Shuan (gritting his teeth):

"Yu Long Sect…"

"If this is true…"

His fists clenched.

"Then I, Lin Shuan…"

"…will destroy you all."

A burst of icy energy erupted from his body.

But it faded quickly.

He touched his forehead.

Lin Shuan (quietly):

"I still cannot cultivate…"

"My power… is sealed…"

His eyes hardened.

"But that golden figure…"

"…said there is a way."

He turned.

Looking toward the east.

"The Eastern Ancient Forest…"

And without looking back—

Lin Shuan walked away.

Behind him—

The ashes of his past remained.

Ahead—

A path of blood.

And somewhere—

Hidden in the shadows—

A figure watched.

Dark Figure (chuckling):

"Destroy the Yu Long Sect…?"

"Child…"

"…you dream too much."

His body dissolved into darkness.

Far away—

A girl in red stood silently.

Watching.

Her eyes…

Moist.

Girl (softly):

"I know…"

"You will do it, Lin Shuan…"

The wind blew.

And she vanished.

Lin Shuan had left Myriad Frost City.

Would he ever return?

Or had that chapter of his life…

ended forever?

And beyond that—

Would he even survive the journey ahead?

To the Eastern Ancient Forest…
