Several days passed.
Just as Ethan had expected, Richard eventually informed him that Olivia had officially submitted her resignation.
He wasn't surprised.
And he understood.
That didn't mean he intended to sit back and do nothing.
After leaving Missy's house, Ethan had immediately contacted someone he knew—someone who specialized in finding people when they didn't want to be found.
Within two days, he had Olivia's location.
But he didn't rush after her.
Not yet.
"What is that woman even thinking?" Daniel grumbled one afternoon. "Honestly, Olivia is impossible."
Ethan barely reacted.
He continued sorting through the personal belongings Olivia had left behind at her desk, placing them one by one into a cardboard box.
A notebook.
A pen.
Several documents.
"What are you going to do with all that?" Daniel asked, watching curiously.
"I'll take them with me. In case she comes looking for them later."
Daniel frowned.
"Is Olivia at her apartment?"
"No."
