After finishing his dinner, Rowan suggested Lena to get some rest and gave his room for her to use. Then he went upstairs to see Katherine, the door was locked so he had knock on it and called out her name but there was no answer. "Katie it's me, if you want to talk about something I am here so please open the door if you consider me as your brother".
After a minute of silence Katie opened the door and ran towards her brother while crying, seeing her running towards him. He caught her before she can fall and hugged her tightly, "what exactly happened Katie" he asked her with warmth and assurance.
Wiping her tears off "it was felix, he recently came to the village. I tried to sneak into the village to see the theatre play the people were talking about and then he saw me and touched me inappropriately" she stopped to snort before continuing "so I ran away from him, and I promise to never go there again but he said that he would come here to get me and mom".
"It's alright, I am here right now" he tries to calm his crying sister and asks her slowly to stand up along with him. "It's not your fault and you don't have to be afraid because of this nor be ashamed".
"So, let's go there to clear up some misunderstandings, are you ready" he says grabbing her hand gently and in respond she nods. They both come down from the upstairs and walked straight towards to the gate.
Amanda tried to stop him and ask him where they are heading to at this hour but resulted in futile. "Not now mother" he said firmly with a fiery gaze that left her speechless, then Rowan helped Katherine to get on the wagon he uses for transporting the goods to the nearby village.
He then got on the driving side to steer off but was stopped by Lena, "see I didn't intend to meddle in your family affairs, but your mom asked me to accompany you guys, and I couldn't refuse" she looked into his eyes which for a split second his eye's colour and pupil appear to be changed into that of the son. But she thought it as a hallucination cause that's not possible, he then agreed with a firm nod to get on the wagon. After his approval she too boards on the wagon to set off to the Ryla village.
