Chapter 15 - Chapter 16: The First Command of War

The sky trembled again.

But this time—

It wasn't breaking.

It was reacting.

Anish felt it before anyone said a word.

A disturbance.

Not random.

Not natural.

Something… had entered.

"…we're not alone anymore," he said quietly.

Zehrat immediately shifted her stance.

"…again?"

But this felt different.

Heavier.

More focused.

Liora's eyes narrowed slightly.

"…it noticed the change."

Anish didn't ask what "it" meant.

Because he already knew.

The watcher.

The First Distortion

The air in front of them twisted.

Not like a portal.

Not like a tear.

But like reality itself was… bending inward.

And from that distortion—

Something emerged.

A figure.

Humanoid.

But incomplete.

Parts of its body flickered.

Glitched.

As if it didn't fully exist.

Its face—

Blank.

No eyes.

No mouth.

Just smooth, shifting surface.

"…what is that?" Zehrat whispered.

Liora didn't hesitate.

"…a correction unit."

Purpose of the Enemy

Anish stepped forward slightly.

"…correction?"

Liora nodded.

"…when the system detects an anomaly…"

She looked at him.

"…it sends something to fix it."

Silence.

"…and I'm the anomaly," Anish said.

"…yes."

The Enemy Moves

Without warning—

The figure moved.

Not fast.

But instantly.

One moment it stood still—

The next—

It was right in front of Anish.

A strike came.

Clean.

Precise.

Deadly.

Anish barely reacted in time.

He raised his hand—

"Stop."

The air froze.

The attack halted inches from his face.

First Use in Combat

For a moment—

Everything stood still.

Then—

The pressure hit him.

Hard.

Anish's body trembled.

"…so this is the cost…"

The command worked.

But it wasn't free.

The figure began pushing forward.

Slowly.

Breaking through the "stop."

"…it's resisting," Zehrat said.

Liora's voice was sharp.

"…don't hold it—redirect it!"

Learning Mid-Fight

Anish's eyes focused.

Redirect.

Not stop.

He shifted his hand slightly.

"…miss."

The attack curved.

Slightly.

Just enough.

The strike passed beside him.

Anish stepped back immediately.

Breathing heavier now.

"…this isn't easy," he muttered.

Zehrat Joins In

The figure didn't stop.

It turned—

Targeting Zehrat now.

"…oh great," she said under her breath.

The enemy attacked again.

Faster this time.

Zehrat dodged—

Barely.

The strike hit the ground—

And reality cracked.

"…yeah, that's not something I can tank," she said.

Coordination Begins

Anish stepped in again.

"…I'll control it—"

"Don't," Liora interrupted.

"…you'll burn out."

Anish frowned.

"…then what?"

Liora's voice was calm.

"…understand it."

Analyzing the Enemy

Anish focused.

Not on attacking.

Not on stopping.

On feeling.

The entity wasn't random.

It followed patterns.

Fixed movements.

Calculated strikes.

"…it's not thinking," he realized.

"…it's executing."

The Key Insight

He watched its movement again.

The timing.

The direction.

The structure of its actions.

"…it's bound to rules."

Liora nodded slightly.

"…everything in this world is."

Turning the Fight

Anish stepped forward again.

But this time—

He didn't react to the attack.

He predicted it.

The figure moved—

And Anish moved first.

"…you strike in a fixed line…"

He whispered.

"…break."

The path of the attack shattered.

The figure paused—

Just for a second.

Opening Created

"…now!" Anish shouted.

Zehrat didn't hesitate.

She dashed forward.

Fast.

Precise.

Her strike hit the figure directly.

But—

It didn't damage it.

"…seriously?" she said.

Second Layer of Reality

Liora's voice came immediately.

"…it doesn't exist fully—attack the structure!"

Zehrat frowned.

"…the what?"

Anish understood instantly.

The threads.

He stepped in again.

"…reveal."

For a moment—

The hidden structure appeared.

Threads holding the entity together.

Now—

It could be targeted.

Final Strike

"…left side!" Anish shouted.

Zehrat moved instantly.

This time—

Her attack connected with the threads.

And—

They snapped.

The entity froze.

Then—

Collapsed.

Gone.

Aftermath

Silence returned.

But not the same silence.

This one—

Was heavier.

Zehrat exhaled deeply.

"…okay… that was new."

Anish didn't respond immediately.

He was still processing.

"…that wasn't just a fight…"

He said slowly.

"…it was a test."

Liora Confirms

Liora nodded.

"…yes."

"…and you passed."

The Real Danger

Anish looked at where the entity disappeared.

"…if that was just one…"

Liora finished his thought.

"…then more will come."

Growth Realization

Anish looked at his hand again.

"…I can't rely on commands alone…"

"…I need to understand deeper."

Liora smiled faintly.

"…now you're thinking correctly."

Far Beyond

In a place beyond Tigren—

The watcher observed.

The fight.

The change.

The adaptation.

For the first time—

It leaned forward.

Interested.

Because now—

The anomaly…

Was evolving.

Final Scene

Back in Tigren—

The sky remained stable.

For now.

But the cracks—

Still existed.

And something told Anish—

This was just the beginning.

"…next time," he said quietly,

"…I won't struggle this much."

Zehrat smirked slightly.

"…you better not."

Liora looked at both of them.

"…because next time…"

A pause.

"…it won't send just one."

Silence.

And the wind—

Moved again.
