Chapter 143: Kizaru's Serious Attitude

Next, Luna saw the familiar items: two Observation Haki Awakening Cards and two armament haki awakening cards. She recalled that she already had two of each in her system space.

If she completed this mission, she would have three of each.

But a quick calculation showed it was just right.

One for Diancie, then one for the new native partner she would find using the guiding light after killing Spandine, and now she had acquired more. Plus, with another old partner summon card, she would summon another otherworldly partner and give them one.

Then there was any World Weapon, which she was also very much looking forward to. What would she get this time?

But what concerned her most was the fourth mission: a teacher who could instruct in both types of Haki. This was exactly what she needed right now. Since she had decided to develop a large fleet, a teacher capable of instructing in Observation Haki and Armament Haki was truly essential.

After all, in the New World, these two types of Haki were basically possessed by any strong person, any individual.

Given this, every member of her large fleet would also need widespread training in the future, striving for each person to master at least one type of Haki.

Then came the final reward: she had obtained a special ingredient from the world of Toriko, the sweet full fruit.

This was a delicious fruit that could only be born from the essence of an entire island, gathering the essence of countless fruits like cantaloupe, apples, and mangoes. It was also known as the Earth Fruit or Fruit Medley.

Now, if she completed the mission, she would receive a whopping 50 of these delicious fruits. Luna's mouth was practically watering.

This even filled her with fighting spirit for the battle that hadn't even begun, as the mission rewards were simply too generous.

But suddenly, Luna froze. She looked up at the sky and noticed a large number of life signatures above the clouds, along with a sound similar to a hot air balloon airship.

It would have been fine if they were just passing by, but they actually stopped above them.

It was as if they intended to witness their battle with the Marines firsthand.

"Hmm? Wait a minute, thinking about it, and it's primarily an airship with many people on it... Morgans? That big, fat albatross man."

Luna quickly connected the dots: Morgans had arrived.

"Heh heh, perfect. Now I don't need to live stream myself." Luna smiled. She had originally planned to conduct a live broadcast herself, letting the entire sea witness their battle with the Marines and see the strength of their Pink Hat Pirates.

She also believed that Morgans would definitely start a live broadcast, as that would maximize his profits and earn him more money.

As a dedicated reporter, Morgans would surely do so.

And indeed, that was the case.

What appeared above their cloud layer was indeed Morgans and his World Economic News Agency headquarters, an aerial airship.

"Hahaha, excellent! The Marines haven't arrived yet. Quickly send out our most elite News Coo to fly down and prepare for a live broadcast."

Morgans was overjoyed when he saw that only the Pink Hat Pirates had arrived and the Marines were not yet there. He had made it in time.

So he immediately gave the order; he decided to broadcast live.

"Ah, President, aren't we taking photos and writing newspapers anymore? Oh dear," one of the more foolish employees blurted out.

"Idiot!" He was directly slapped away by an enraged Morgans, hitting the wall and getting knocked out.

Morgans then cursed, "The money from live broadcast viewership is far better than selling newspapers! You don't even understand that, you idiot!"

"What are you all standing around for? Get to it! Oh, and wait for my command to start the broadcast."

Morgans turned around and scolded the other employees to hurry up.

"Yes, President."

..."Captain, they're here." After a while longer, Shino Asada, standing on the observation deck, saw the arrival of the Marines on the distant horizon.

"They've finally arrived. What's the situation on their side?" Luna drained a can of iced cola in her hand and said with a cold laugh.

"Only one warship has arrived. It's that dog-head warship we encountered in the East Blue. There aren't many regular Marine Soldiers on board, perhaps a few hundred. We can't see inside the ship's hold, but I estimate around three hundred or so."

Shino Asada reported while observing the situation on the distant Navy Warships with her eight-power scope.

Chapter 144 According to my understanding

"It seems Garp has come for the Marines this time. The Marine Soldiers can be ignored. Take another look, are there any other people worth our attention?" It was Kuina who said this. As the first mate, she began to analyze and immediately stated the next step.

"According to my understanding, if I'm not mistaken, the other two Admirals have also arrived: Akainu, whom we saw last time at Reverse Mountain, and Kizaru, whom we're meeting for the first time. Also, Garp's first mate, Borsalino, has arrived."

Shino Asada immediately said.

Aokiji and the five Marine Headquarters Vice Admirals who also heard this were overjoyed, because if they went there, they could also participate in the battle. They were currently in peak condition. The Marine lineup this time could be said to be one Four Emperors, four Admirals, and five Marine Headquarters Vice Admirals, all top-tier existences in their respective power classes.

However, thinking about what they had just seen, and Luna's so-called trump card, they became unconfident about whether they could win this battle.

Meanwhile, Luna, The Girls, and the Bei Group were called over to the bow of the ship, at least out of earshot of Aokiji and the others, because she was about to assign tasks and opponents to The Girls and herself.

"I'll deal with Garp. The Marines will send Kizaru this time, probably hoping to use his light speed to counter my void, but I want to say it's completely useless. However, it's highly possible I'll face Garp and Kizaru simultaneously."

"Kaya, Shino, you two will act with me. You are electricity and light, respectively. Your elemental abilities give you speeds no less than that yellow monkey's, and Kaya, you could say you're specifically for dealing with Kizaru."

"Kuina, you go deal with Borsalino. You are now fully capable of fighting him, as you are both Great Swordsmen and Admiral-level powerhouses. But you have a greater advantage, both in your swordsmanship and your equipment. Sana will assist from the side."

"Long Long will be responsible for Akainu. His Magma's destructive power is astonishing, but against your equipment, especially what can release a defensive shield, he'll be helpless. In close combat, he's also no match for you. Carmen, you'll provide assistance."

"Tatsumaki, you'll handle Aokiji, maintaining the same approach as last time. Nojiko will assist."

"Deya, you're responsible for overall support, moving around and launching sneak attacks."

"Bei Group, after you've dealt with those five Marine Headquarters Vice Admirals, go onto the warship and slaughter the Marines for me."

"Has everyone understood?"

"Understood x 16." The Girls all expressed their understanding, and this battle deployment was thus decided.

Soon, they all watched Garp's warship draw closer and closer. Finally, when the two sides were nearly 200 meters apart, Garp ordered the ship to stop.

Both sides stood on the decks of their respective ships, gazing at each other.

"Where are Aokiji and the others, Luna, you little brat!" Garp shouted loudly.

Behind him stood Admirals Akainu and Kizaru, as well as Garp's first mate, Borsalino.

And a large number of Marine Soldiers armed with weapons. Luna was somewhat surprised to spot Koby and Helmeppo.

But thinking of these two's strength, still easily subdued by Luffy and Zoro, they were ultimately just two little weaklings, so she didn't pay them much mind.

These two also had some luck on their side; they would probably survive even when the Bei Group went in to fight later.

"Right here." Luna and The Girls made way, and Garp and the others clearly saw Aokiji and the others, who were once again guarded by the Bei Group with hover cannons.

Seeing that Aokiji and the others were all safe and sound, with no missing limbs, and looking perfectly fine—able to fight vigorously as soon as their Sea Stone handcuffs were removed—Garp and the others immediately breathed a sigh of relief, while also feeling pleasantly surprised.

Excellent, Aokiji and the others all had the ability to fight.

But when they noticed the Bei Group, who were now guarding Aokiji and the others, their expressions immediately changed again.

Looking at these young girls whose equipment was similar to Shiro's, they probably had some strength. The upcoming battle would likely cause considerable pressure.

"We still don't understand the Pink Hat Pirates well enough," Borsalino said with a wry smile.

"Hmph, it should be nothing major. Onigumo and the others can handle it," Akainu snorted, still trusting his Marine Headquarters Vice Admirals, not to mention Onigumo and the others were experienced, veteran Marine Headquarters Vice Admirals.

Although there were seven people in total, and the opponents had an advantage of two more people, even so, could they not defeat a group of young girls?

"So this is the Pink Hat Pirates. They really are a group of remarkable young girls." Kizaru Borsalino. This was considered his first direct encounter with the Pink Hat Pirates, but he had heard about their past exploits.

Although he often liked to taunt opponents or weaker individuals, saying things like "how scary," he genuinely couldn't bring himself to mock the Pink Hat Pirates, who had already achieved many feats and a formidable reputation at such a young age.

There were several young girls on the other side whose strength was comparable to his, especially the captain, Luna. His other two colleagues had already been defeated, and quite miserably at that. He wouldn't delude himself into thinking he could gain an advantage against her; he was destined to lose.

But no matter what they thought now, things still had to progress.

"Where is that trash and the money I asked for?" Luna said with a cold expression.

Garp and the others quickly made way, revealing several boxes of Berries. A quick estimate showed there really was 2 billion.

At the same time, there was also a person tied up, with a pale and despairing face.

This person was undoubtedly Spandine. His son was already dead, and he had been mercilessly abandoned by the World Government. Spandine was originally not very useful to them, and trading him for five Marine Headquarters Vice Admirals and one Admiral was well worth it. Of course, it was also because the Devil Fruit name Luna fabricated had attracted the high attention of the Gorosei, not to mention Luna's current strength was already considerable in their eyes.
