Raynare, the fallen angel, jumped down from the top of the electric pole, landing softly on the ground. Black feathers fell from her wings and drifted away with the wind.
"Come on, Asia, don't waste my time," said Raynare, looking at Asia, who clung to Shade's body as he stepped in front of her in a protective stance.
"No, I don't want to... I don't want to help you kill people, and besides, I..."
"You are necessary for us, do you understand? We need you, Asia."
"Wait, fallen angel, what do you want this girl for?" Shade asked, trying to get more information.
"That's none of your business, human," said Raynare, raising a hand and forming a light spear.
Shade looked at the spear warily. His instinct told him it was dangerous.
"I'll ask you again: what do you want Asia for?" he asked as the darkness around him began to react under his will.
Tendrils of darkness emerged, joining Shade's hand and forming a black sword made of pure darkness.
"That's a Sacred Gear," said the fallen angel with surprise.
"I see. That's a strange Sacred Gear you have there. It could be a threat to our interests. Leaving you alive is too high a risk," said Raynare, throwing the light spear toward Shade, who moved his dark sword and cut the spear in half.
Raynare's face showed surprise at this.
"Hm. You managed to destroy my light spear," she said, creating another, larger one and throwing it at Shade, who again destroyed the attack with his dark sword.
Clicking her tongue in annoyance, Raynare created several light spears and launched them at Shade, who destroyed them all without letting any touch him or harm Asia.
"You're a persistent cockroach," said the fallen angel.
Shade took a step and disappeared from Raynare's sight.
Raynare looked around quickly, trying to locate her enemy. However, she felt something cold press lightly against her neck, drawing a little blood.
A cold voice spoke in her ear, making her entire body tense.
"Move so much as a finger and send your regards to God," said Shade, making Raynare freeze.
"Do you think you can threaten me, human?"
"Do you think I couldn't kill you right now, fallen angel Raynare?" Shade returned, his voice serious.
"I'll tell you for the third and final time: what do you want Asia for?" he asked.
Raynare remained silent.
Shade pressed the sword harder, making Raynare sweat deeply. After a few moments, she spoke.
"I need her to extract her Sacred Gear," she said finally.
"Extract her power? For what?"
"To obtain the power I have longed for for so long. If I get it, I will be loved. With it, everyone who once mocked me will swallow their words," said Raynare, making Shade's eyes widen.
"What happens to those who have their Sacred Gear extracted?"
"They die." Asia's eyes widened upon hearing that.
"Ra-Raynare, you..."
"Stupid girl. No one in this world cares about you. The only reason you're still alive is because you're still useful. Once I extract your Sacred Gear, you could die in a ditch for all I care."
Asia crumbled at those cruel words.
Shade became enraged upon hearing that but still didn't act. He hid his rage behind a mask of cold indifference and continued extracting information.
"Did you do this yourself? Or did you receive orders?"
"I did it myself. I even had to deceive my superiors."
"I see. So I suppose those other fallen angels are your accomplices as well."
"Yes, they are my subordinates."
"I see. Then, given that case, I can act as I see fit. I thought about killing you and your subordinates, but doing it in devil territory is complicated, so I'll take you to Azazel and let him decide for you."
Raynare froze upon hearing that name.
"You miserable human, how do you know that name?" she asked furiously.
"Why would I have to answer you?" Shade pierced Raynare's back with the sword made of darkness, which then expanded into a dome that drained the nearby air, causing the fallen angel to fall to the ground unconscious.
Shade appeared next to Asia, hugging her as she rested her head on his shoulder.
"Don't worry, Asia. You are my friend, and I won't let anyone hurt you."
---
A few minutes passed. Shade returned Asia to his home, leaving her to rest while he dealt with the other fallen angels.
He wouldn't kill them. He could do it easily, but he still didn't know much about this world, so he would leave the outcome to the perverted angel regarding his subordinates.
Once he arrived at the church, moving through the darkness, a sea of black sparks covered him, revealing a black and gray tunic with plates of polished black steel. The appearance was similar to that of a summoner.
Shade walked, letting his footsteps echo through the wide hallway of the abandoned church.
He observed three fallen angels.
The first was an older man in his forties, wearing a black suit with a hat.
Beside him was a blonde girl with thick hair split in two, wearing a kind of gothic maid outfit.
Finally, the third was a mature woman with large breasts, wearing a tight outfit that revealed her deep cleavage.
The three fallen angels noticed his presence intentionally.
"Who are you?" asked the man. "Show yourself."
Shade emerged from the darkness, looking at the three fallen.
"Fallen angel Dohnasek, fallen angel Mittelt, fallen angel Kalawarner," he named them one by one.
"Under the authority granted to me, I have the right to kill you," Shade said with a cold voice.
Immediately, the blonde girl created a light spear and launched it at Shade, who stood still, letting the spear pass through him like smoke.
"Pathetic."
The darkness reacted. Tendrils extended around Mittelt, wrapping around her tightly. She tried to break free but it was useless. The tendrils squeezed her harder until something cracked, and the girl fell to the ground without moving.
"Mittelt! You miserable bastard!" Dohnasek lunged forward, forming a light spear to impale Shade, who appeared in front of the fallen angel.
His hand grabbed the fallen angel's face, then slammed it against the ground, creating a crater.
Shade lifted his gaze to look at Kalawarner, who was frightened to see two of her companions possibly dead in less than five seconds.
Kalawarner, without hesitation, took flight to escape.
"Where do you think you're going, little bird?" Shade whispered in the woman's ear as she was grabbed and slammed against the ground, kicking up dust and sending wooden chairs flying.
Kalawarner coughed blood. One of her wings was broken from the impact.
Wincing in pain, she looked at that beautifully handsome boy with a icy gaze.
"Who the hell are you?" she asked in pain.
"Me? I am the Lord of Darkness," he replied, approaching Kalawarner and raising his leg to finish the job. However, the frightened fallen angel screamed to stop him.
"Wait... don't kill me. I can do whatever you want, even give you information or be your slave," the woman said.
Shade stopped, looking at the fallen angel's face, which was certainly beautiful, and then looked at her large breasts rising and falling.
They're tempting me, he thought to himself.
But I don't mind. I like breasts, especially big ones. Just imagining those possibilities...
Shade's mind wandered through the space of lust before returning to itself. His face at no time revealed his true thoughts.
"Tell me something. This plan to steal the nun girl's power, was it independent of your leader?"
"Yes," she replied quickly.
"I see. Then you are guilty." And with that, Shade kicked Kalawarner hard, making the woman arch and fall to the ground unconscious.
Hearing footsteps, he looked at the renegade priests who were wielding weapons, looking at him with murderous intent.
Securing the unconscious bodies of the fallen, Shade created a black sword and walked toward the renegade priests, who lunged at him.
A few minutes later, multiple bodies were scattered all over the floor. All of them were dead, and in the center of it all stood Shade, indifferent to his massacre.
Why do they always charge in like idiots when they could surrender? He asked himself mentally.
Turning around, Shade prepared to leave when he felt new demonic presences. Quickly, he created a simple black mask, hiding himself in the darkness.
