Orion didn't dwell on the issue any further.
After he and Kakashi brought Naruto and Sasuke back to Tazuna's house, Kakashi sought Orion out to understand Naruto's condition. During Naruto's rampage earlier, Kakashi had been busy fighting Zabuza and hadn't been able to observe Naruto closely.
On the balcony outside their room, under the quiet glow of the moonlight, the two sat side by side.
Orion spoke first.
"The seal inside Naruto has already loosened. This time when he lost control, two tails had already formed."
"And with just two tails, he already put a lot of pressure on me. If one more tail appears, I probably won't be able to suppress him anymore."
That was Orion's own assessment.
Even in the two-tailed state, Naruto had already felt extremely dangerous to him. He believed that once Naruto reached three tails, he wouldn't be able to handle it.
In this regard, Orion's thinking was quite similar to Hashirama Senju—he could see how powerful his opponent was, but not how much pressure he himself placed on others.
In truth, Orion had suppressed Naruto with a single combined jutsu, and it hadn't even consumed one-tenth of his chakra.
Moreover, his Water Dragon combined with Lightning Release could suppress not only the two-tailed state, but even three tails. The Water Dragon itself wasn't the main factor—the real threat to the rampaging Naruto had been Orion's Lightning Release.
His lightning chakra was fundamentally different from that of ordinary shinobi, far more destructive and lethal.
Kakashi didn't know these details, but he could clearly feel how sinister Naruto's chakra had been at the time. Naturally, he believed Orion's words.
"That's also why the Third Hokage entrusted Naruto to me," Kakashi said.
"After becoming a ninja, the chances of him losing control have increased significantly."
"But judging from the power he showed today… even I would have trouble suppressing him."
"Although I have the Sharingan, I'm not from the Uchiha clan, so my ability to restrain tailed beasts is limited."
"If you hadn't stepped in today, I really wouldn't have had many options to calm him down."
Orion thought for a moment and said, "When we return to the village, you should learn some sealing techniques. Since the Third Hokage entrusted Naruto to you, he'll definitely be willing to provide methods to deal with his rampages."
Kakashi gave a bitter smile.
"It's not that simple. Do you really think sealing techniques are easy to learn?"
"Basic sealing techniques are fine, but techniques capable of sealing tailed beasts are extremely difficult."
"It's not like I haven't tried to learn them, but most of those techniques are practically forbidden jutsu. I couldn't master them."
"And most of Konoha's tailed beast sealing techniques originate from the Uzumaki Clan."
"Many of them require the Uzumaki bloodline to be used effectively. The Fourth Hokage was only able to master them because his wife was from that clan."
"I've studied them before… but I couldn't grasp them."
Kakashi sounded helpless. As a student of Minato Namikaze, he had certainly been taught sealing techniques.
But just like how not everyone who studied the Flying Thunder God Technique could master it, Kakashi simply didn't have exceptional talent in sealing arts.
He was a genius, yes—but mainly in combat.
Sealing techniques, especially those meant for tailed beasts, were on an entirely different level.
Orion was surprised.
"Even you couldn't learn them? Just how difficult are they?"
Kakashi sighed.
"They're extremely difficult. And many techniques can only truly be used with the Uzumaki bloodline."
Orion thought about it and realized that was true.
Many Uzumaki sealing techniques depended on their lineage. For example, Adamantine Sealing Chains.
This technique was incredibly powerful. Using it, Kushina Uzumaki was able to completely suppress the Nine-Tails without it ever going berserk.
Not only could it seal, it could also be used offensively.
During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Karin Uzumaki used it to shatter a wooden construct's arm.
Even before Minato sealed the Nine-Tails into Naruto, Kushina had used this technique while on the verge of death to completely immobilize the beast.
That alone showed how terrifying it was.
Clearly, this was a bloodline-bound technique, used only by members of the Uzumaki clan.
There were also other powerful sealing techniques, such as Reaper Death Seal.
But that was a one-time, sacrificial technique—even if Kakashi knew it, Orion had no interest in learning it.
Kakashi suddenly looked at Orion, as if realizing something.
"Wait… just because I find it difficult doesn't mean you will."
He was reminded of Orion's extraordinary talent. Perhaps Orion also had a natural aptitude for sealing techniques.
Orion blinked.
"What do you mean?"
Kakashi replied, "If you have talent in sealing techniques, I can teach you."
"I may not have mastered them, but I remember all the principles clearly."
Orion frowned slightly.
"But aren't those sealing techniques considered forbidden? Should someone like me—a genin—even be learning them?"
He wasn't worried about failing to learn them—he was concerned about putting Kakashi in a difficult position.
After all, techniques capable of sealing tailed beasts were top-level secrets of a village. And most of Konoha's sealing arts came from the Uzumaki clan, whose techniques were among the finest in the entire ninja world.
Even Killer B had once remarked that Naruto's seal was far superior to his own.
That alone showed how precious Uzumaki sealing techniques were.
In fact, the Uzumaki clan had been destroyed partly because of that very reason.
Kakashi waved his hand dismissively.
"I trust you completely."
"I've already taught you Chidori. If you can learn sealing techniques, Naruto's problem will be much easier to handle."
He had absolute confidence in Orion.
In truth, Kakashi already knew that Orion's strength had surpassed his own.
Yet Orion hadn't changed at all—no arrogance, no recklessness.
Even Kakashi himself hadn't been able to maintain such composure at that age.
"It's settled," Kakashi said.
"Starting tomorrow, I'll teach you all the sealing techniques I know. Several of them were personally taught to me by Minato Namikaze… though I never managed to master them."
There was a hint of self-mockery in his tone.
Despite being hailed as a genius, Kakashi knew that sealing techniques were his weak point.
He could use basic ones like the Evil Sealing Method, but those were far inferior to the true techniques of the Uzumaki clan.
They weren't even enough to properly suppress the curse mark on Sasuke.
